8 KMTPD IS UNDERTAKING THE TRAFFIC CONTROLL SYSTEM with : 1050 Traffic Police personnel. Two Traffic Police Ranges, Four Traffic Police Circles and Twenty two Traffic Police Sectors under its supervision. The KMTPD is responsible to enforce The Vehicle and Transportation Management Act, 2049 BS (1992) and regulate smooth flow of traffic in Kathmandu Valley.
