To this day, we are very proud to be able to build our boats in the traditionnal way, but nevertheless using very high technology materials. Every single boat is a unique piece conceived for you in our workshops in Vaiges, Mayenne. We are fully attached to the quality of the materials we use. The wooden frame is made of ash and birch plywood andthe skins are made of materials in line with our quality standarts. The manufacturing techniques are put to the test. Every single part built in our workshops gets thoroughly checked up which enables us to give you a five year garantee on each boat. Many partnerships with expedition paddlers or Navy commandos for instance, enable us to improve our products constantly in order to offer you always more speed, reliability and solidity. 3 Why choose a Nautiraid folding boat?» To own a Nautiraid boat implies a specific lifestyle such as being able to go on a week-end, a longer trip or an expedition free and limitless. Quality and design The quality of the materials gives it beauty and flexibility. Directly inspired from traditional manufacturing techniques, the concept of the taut canvas gives the kayaks and canoes a very clean design.that s what makes them particularly silent.» Modularity The two-seater boats are flexible. Two extra children may be seated when adding optional seats. They quickly and easily convert into single seated boats. You can also adapt a sail, a rudder or even a small engine on all types of kayaks, except Raid I 325. Maupiti lagoon Reliability All our boats proove to be extremely stable thanks to the Stabilairs. In accordance with the existing French lesgislation (Division Article of the regulation of yachting) our boats are totally unsinkable. Storage and transport facilities Depending on the model, your boat will fit in one or two bags. It is a convenient packaging either for transport or storage. You can carry it in the back of your car, load it into a camper, take it on a boat or even easily put it in the hold if you intend to fly somewhere. And it takes very little room when you are not using it. 3

4 our craftmanship Tradtionnal process Aftermarket service - 5 year warranty Workshop Nautiraid Skins The deck of every type of boats is made of PVC coated, rootproof textile material. It ensures total sealing, fast drying and provides the surface from shrinking. The weight of the kayak doesn t increase when it is wet. The hull of the Expédition models is coated with Hypalon, thus guaranteeing a high tear and abrasion resistance. The hull of the Touring models is made of PVC. The skin of the Expedition models is heavier than that of the Touring models. The seams that connect the hull to the deck are watertight. All models are reinforced with additional straps Frames Nautiraid is the only French folding boat manufacturer to give you the choice between wooden frames and anodized aluminium ones. Wooden frames gives the boats an authentic look and it reduces the assembling time. Note that the fittings in the wooden frames are made of stainless steel to prevent any possible corrosion by sea water Assembly Nautiraid kayaks are easy to assemble or desassemble. No tools are required and the number of parts to be assembled has been deliberately limited : 20 minutes for a wooden two-seater kayak and 15 minutes for a wooden single seated one. Equipments All our boats are both equipped with external sponsons which reinforce the hull of the boats and these Stabilairs which when inflated on each side, form lateral floats. All outside the kayak, they limit the movements of roll and the risk of turning over. They are major security measures. Even if they deflate or get punctured, the tension of the skin on the kayak is sufficient to secure the flotation of the boat. Alimnum frames can significantly lighten the boats. Both sorts of frames require a minimum of maintenance. 4

6 solo kayaks Brittany The Raid I series were designed as an allrounder. These kayaks can be paddled on all sorts of waterways : rivers up to Class III, canals, lakes and sea (homologated in France up to 6 nautical miles from the shore). Choose between two lengths 416 cm or 460 cm. Incredibly stable, with a load capacity of over 300 kg, the Grand Raid II is available in two lenghths, 500 or 540 cm in wood or aluminium frame. 12 narak series The new Narak Series is inspired by the artic and the inuit kayaks. Lower on the water than the Raids, with a high bow and special «hard chined» hull they are very seaworthy. Skin on frame kayaks like their ancestors, the Naraks only come with wood frames. GRand narak II 550 wood 140 x 32 x 21 cm 82 x 47 x 27 cm + 20 min At 550 cm it shares the same length with the Narak but she is wider at 75 cm with stabilairs. 13 550 x 52 cm NARAK 550 Narak is the folding kayak which is the closest to a hard shell composite kayak. Despite her length she turns quick once edged. 14 CANOes Often lighter than the similar hard shells canoes, the Nautiraid Rando canoes are much more easy to carry to the put-in. The Randos come in two sizes, depending on how numerous your family is and how many gear you need for camping! 16 NANO EXCURSION Raid I 325 et Beach single or two-seater with aluminium frame can be carried easily : they fold in only one bag. These small crafts can be paddled everywhere : rivers, mountain lakes, estuarys... and turn to be efficient tenders for yachts.
