The rock faces of the Hautes-Gorgesde-la-Rivière-Malbaie are the highest East of the Rockies. You can also choose the Acropole des Draveurs path to see the magnificent frozen valley. With this package, we ll make you discover the heart of the Hautes-Gorges, whether it be on the river by boat or kayak or by land on a smooth bicycle path that skirts the river. In both cases, you will see wonderful waterfalls, sandy beaches, rock faces and a lot more! The excursion on the river or on the cycle path is 8km (16km both ways), easily done in half a day. Take advantage of our bar and micro-brasserie beers, we offer approximately 75 different varieties of local beers and also a restaurant who offers and affordable menu with local products. Boating / Kayaking or bicycle activity We leave the Auberge de Jeunesse La Malbaie 8 am for the Hautes-Gorges National Park of the Malbaie River entry to get your kayak/boat/bicycle. It s an easy 8km course (16km both ways) smooth for bicycle and for boats. Beginning of the activity around 9:00/9:30 am, allow 5 hours for boat and kayak and about 2 hours for bicycles. It may be possible to hike to the waterfalls. We will have some free time at the park for everyone. We will then get back to the Auberge de Jeunesse La Malbaie around 4:15 pm for an excellent supper and a great evening. Included equipment 4
