However, it is already time to begin planning for the season. Are you up to date with the changes and updates to the JO Rules? Be sure to check out the USA Gymnastics Web site to access educational materials and educational opportunities to learn the changes and updates for the cycle. Reminder: SC Administrative committee ballots must be postmarked by June 15th,2009 to be counted in the election process for SC USAG board positions. She has been the owner/coach and director of Upstate Gymnastics for 30 years. In her coaching career, she has produced National, Regional and State Athletes. She has had the honor of 6 gymnasts receiving college scholarships. She has been a volunteer for state training camps and clinics. She has also served on the SC USAG board. She has also been a key player in promoting College Gymnastics in Clemson through the Tiger Paw Classic Invitational. DON T MISS THE ANNUAL STATE MEETING AUG 30th 2:00PM You will receive: Competition Calendar and Booklet Information regarding changes for the new season Open forum to ask questions Meet your newly elected SC USAG Board State Meet Event Specialist Update: Level 8,9 and 10 event specialist will be allowed at the 2010 Optional State meet with a qualifying score of 8.5 Per event.level 10 s are eligible to go to regional s with a qualifying score of 9.4. Look for more info in your state handbook in August! SC PREP OPT UPDATE The SC USAG board has voted to continue using the Regional Prep Opt rules for the upcoming season. The Regional Prep Opt board will meet over the summer to discuss any updates or changes to the current rules. As soon as this information is available it will be either ed to gym clubs and judges or included in your competition packet at the state meeting in August Prep Opt Championship Invite April 21-April 23 ( Location to be determined) 2009 SOUTH CAROLI A STATE USAG LEVELS 4-6 COMPULSORY TRAI I G CAMP WHO: GYMNASTS LEVELS 4, 5 AND 6, COACHES, JUDGES WHAT: PERFECT YOUR COMPULSORY ROUTINES WHEN: SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 12 TH OR SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 13 TH Each athlete will be placed in one session either Saturday or Sunday.
