We have been manufacturing and supplying specialist military equipment since 1981 and are constantly looking to improve and refine our equipment using feedback received from our customer groups. Our range of composite and aluminium telescopic poles, titanium hooks, wire ladders and accessories have a wide variety of uses in both urban and marine environments. In addition we also supply a full range of tactical rope access equipment to complete the range. We can provide personalised packages to suit client s needs but, where our current range is not suitable for the task in hand, we can offer a bespoke in house design and manufacture facility for a variety of scenarios, delivering specialist solutions with a fast turnaround. 6 Telescopic Pole Range Power Pole We are pleased to announce that, following extensive research and development, the New Electric Pole is in final testing and evaluation!! Product features include: Fully electrically operated telescopic pole with integrated manual override. 15m extension achieved in 7 8 seconds approx. Waterproof electronic speed control using a 3 way rocker switch. Up Stop Down Quick and easy to replace 36v rechargeable battery in waterproof housing. Single battery charge allows for cycles, full extension and retraction. Supplied with charger and spare battery. Case housing is constructed of machined aluminium and hard anodised black. Twin grip handles incorporated into the design for good user stability and control. The power pole provides a quick and controlled way to deploy any Olympia Triumph hook and ladder to a target. More accuracy can be achieved as the user only has to stabilise the pole and operate the electric control. The three way rocker switch allows the user to extend and lower the pole at the push of a button. If the switch is released the pole will hold its position until the user re engages the switch, allowing further extension or retraction. The electric control can be easily operated with gloves on and in the event of a problem the user can activate the folding handle to allow full manual control of the extension or retraction. The pole can quickly be converted back to electric at any time. Replacing the battery has been made as simple as possible to allow change over to happen during the mission if required. 6

14 Telescopic Pole Range Telescopic Swimmers Poles Our range of Carbon Fibre telescopic poles are designed to meet the demands of the military to reach inaccessible areas and are extremely versatile. Due to their construction the carbon poles are extremely lightweight, compact and strong. These features make them ideal for diver teams, for use from a boat or in an urban environment to reach heights up to 20m. Great for covert access, surveillance cameras and our compact wind sock. Made entirely from carbon fibre, with glass reinforced polyamide joints. The lever actions of the joints are easy to use and provide a secure lock between each section. The pole is made up of 2 to 9 sections with many possible variations. Any combination of sizes can be produced, dependant on your requirements. 21 Titanium Grapnel Hooks Titanium Grapnel Hooks Our range of titanium grappling hooks covers all dimensions for every situation in theatre. All of the hooks fit our range of telescopic poles allowing the right size hook to be used depending on the target in mind. They all have a suitable anchor points for attaching the climbing ladder. All the hooks in the series are made from Grade 5 Titanium, giving excellent strength to weight properties. Our hooks come with a minimum breaking load (MBL) of over 1100 kg. The Matt Black Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) finish is hard wearing and also offers extra sound deadening properties. This finish is standard on all our Hooks along with the removable Rubber Ferrules. 22 Titanium Grapnel Hooks Titanium Grapnel Hook Pivoting Quick Release System Our range of Titanium grappling hooks come with both a pivoting and a pivoting quick release system built in as standard. The chosen system can be changed by the user by inserting the r clips in different orientations. The quick release system allows the quick release of the hook from the pole once the target is initiated, by applying sufficient load onto the climbing ladder. The system allows a greater ease of pole release over the standard fixed hooks, by incorporating a pivot. To set up the Titanium hook for quick release, the r clips should be inserted upwards from the bottom of the hook as the image below shows. To set up the Titanium hook for pivot only, the r clips should be inserted downwards from the top of the hook as the image below shows. The system allows a greater ease of pole release over the older standard fixed hooks, by incorporating a pivot.
