The single block delivers a maximum working load of. A versatile range of 1 different configurations suitable for rope diameter up to mm. Series 1 blocks are ideal for dinghies and can be used for cunninghams, leech lines and other applications on bigger boats. RF6 Mainsheet Swivel Cleat Unit Available Now The little brother of our popular RF7 mainsheet swivel cleat has arrived! Ball bearings for free rotation under load, cleating from any angle. A switchable ratchet stop in the base keeps the arm in the most recently used position, or can be turned off for free swivelling. Perfect for smaller dinghies, suitable for 28 mm diameter rope. The catalogue update with full details and high resolution images can be found at this link: Series 100 Core Blocks Available 1 st November The awardwinning range of Ronstan Core Blocks now extends to the 100mm size, suitable for mainsheet, halyards and other applications on boats up to 16m. Featuring forged alloy cheeks, a full contact primary bearing and ball bearings to handle thrust loads, the single block has a maximum working load of 20, and a breaking load of 700. The Series 100 range includes single, becket and double blocks with swivel shackle head, as well as foot block and halyard block configurations. 4 FEATURES & INFORMATION Keeoat Blocks SERIES 100 Use Them Anywhere A balanced design approach incorporating functionality, performance and style makes our Series 100 Core Blocks the right choice for performance cruising or racing applications. A full contact bearing provides excellent performance across the full working load range with an integrated thrust bearing feature and the resilience to handle high dynamic or static loads. Glass fibre reinforced nylon sheave, alloy cheeks and stainless fixings complete the durable package. Dynamic and high static load performance Core Blocks incorporate a full contact acetal bearing on a polished stainless steel race to maintain low friction performance under heavy loads. Ball bearings are configured to act as a thrust bearing between the sheave and cheeks, preventing the sheave from rubbing on the cheeks and causing friction when the line lead in and out of the block isn t perfect; particularly important for foot blocks. Fully articulated standup Standup models have a linkage that provides full rotation and articulation. A high strength precision cast padeye minimises the footprint and a dedicated rubber boot ensures the block is held upright when not loaded. Universal head The head assembly incorporates a brass bearing washer to provide smooth 60 rotation of the post and shackle. A set screw arrangement allows the head to be locked at 0 or 0. Shackles are high quality forged grade 174PH stainless steel. Aluminium alloy cheek plates Block cheeks are manufactured from the highest quality aluminium alloy for maximum strength, and hard anodised for durability and corrosion resistance. Material optimisation and the cutaway design minimises weight and allows easy fresh water rinsing of salt and debris from the bearings. The hollow hub can be used as a becket takeoff or tieup point.
