1 OVERVIEW We are excited to launch Club Conflict Season Seventeen. We will be beta testing the Club Conflict website and our new Club Conflict Client (featuring Easy AntiCheat). Also, we will be testing our dedicated Linux servers, hosted out of NY/NJ. We have 20 match servers available to us. These 128 tick CSGO match servers require that the Club Conflict Client to be actively running prior to connecting to them. Season Seventeen match times are Wednesday nights at 8PM EST. We will be streaming select matches on our Twitch.TV Channel. If your team wishes to compete in Club Conflict Season Seventeen and possibly be featured in our Twitch stream, they must be in their assigned match server at 8PM EST on match night. Demos are required. Team Captains, please instruct your teammates to record demos prior to.ready up. In console type record week1.dem to record a demo titled week1.dem. Only one demo file is required per match (no need for a demo for each side). No VAC Banned accounts will be allowed to play in Club Conflict league, no exceptions. Teams must have (5) players at a minimum to be included on the regular season schedule. We prefer that each team has a minimum of (7) players to avoid teams having to forfeit matches or play short. Be prepared to play your match every Wednesday Night at 8PM EST during the season. 1

3 RULES Admins: The Club Conflict Admins have the final say and can make rule changes. Good Sportsmanship: While we encourage our members to have fun playing in Club Conflict Online Gaming League, we would like to remind everyone to observe good sportsmanship when dealing with your opponents. Light banter and verbal exchanges in good fun will be tolerated but please keep the tone of the match positive. Absolutely no racist or homophobic remarks are allowed. Also, leveling accusations of exploiting or cheating over the microphone or in game chat will not be tolerated. Match Time: Matches must start within 15 minutes from the scheduled match time of Wednesday night at 8PM EST, unless teams have made prior arrangements to reschedule the match. Unless your match has been rescheduled prior to default match time, all teams are expected to play. Teams are not required to agree to a reschedule. Be prepared to play at the default match time. Matches not played by the end of the week will treated as a loss for both teams involved. Matches must be completed by Midnight EST Sunday. Match Server: In the event that a team does not wish to play on a particular server, matches can be played on any of the available match servers as long as both teams agree to it. Please ensure that a match server is not already in use before connecting to it. Spectators are not allowed on any match server. If your teammates wish to watch the match they must connect to GOTV. Match Reporting: It is the winning teams responsibility to report the match results within one hour of the end of the scheduled match. Team Captains may report the match results on the website. If you are having difficulty reporting results, please seek out the help of a league admin. Go to Results tab of the Event Page. Select Edit and add the scores. If a forfeit happened, check FF and record a 16-0 win. Disputes: If a team does not agree with the posted results of a match or if there were circumstances that caused the match loss, such as server crashes etc. a dispute function has been built into the site. Team Captains may dispute the result. Teams have one hour from the end of the match to dispute the results. If you wish to dispute a match and the results have not been posted yet, please contact a league admin and notify them about the dispute and the reason for the dispute. Admins can call for a match to be replayed. 3

4 RULES Teams: No VAC banned accounts are allowed to play in Club Conflict Online Gaming League. Team owners are ultimately responsible for their team s conduct. When assigning Captain and Co-Captain to team members, please note that you are extending your authority to fully represent your team. Teams must have a minimum of (5) players registered. No ringers. All players must be registered and be members of a team roster before playing. In the event that your team wins the league, the Team Owner will have ultimate say in delegating the team s prizes. Except for certain circumstances, only one prize will be shipped per address. Schedule: The schedule can be found on the website HERE. Club Conflict Client: Use of Easy AntiCheat during match play is required. You can download and install the software HERE. If you already have Easy AntiCheat installed from Steam, you can simply use that. The client must be running prior to connecting to the match server. If you close the client while connected to a match server you will be instantly kicked from the session. You will have to reconnect to the match server after you relaunch the client. Demos Required: Recording of in-game player demos is required by each player. In console type record demoname.dem. A single demo file is sufficient. If a CC Admin requests your teams demos after a match and you cannot provide them, your teams match results could be overturned. GOTV: GOTV is enabled and on a 1 minute delay. Voice Communication: In-Game voice may be broadcast on GOTV, 3rd Party Voice Communication such as Mumble, Ventrilo or TeamSpeak is encouraged. Player Names: Please use the username associated with your Club Conflict account. Matches may be streamed on Club Conflict s Twitch.TV and we do not want to confuse the analysts or the viewers. Please do not use swear words or other vulgarities in the spelling of your player s name. Using name changing scripts is prohibited. Streaming: We will be streaming select matches on Twitch.TV. Please keep in mind that you are representing Club Conflict Online Gaming League when you are playing. Your match may be watched by thousands of viewers in near real time. Teams that violate the league s Good Sportsmanship policy may get flagged from being eligible to be Twitch streamed in the future and may be subject to further disciplinary actions. Please be mindful and respectful of our league and its many sponsors. 4

5 RULES Server Crashes: In the event that a server crashes, please contact a league admin to facilitate our match medic functionality which sets the server up to replay a particular round. Start money is restored for this as well. Dropped Players: In the event that a player drops from the server, the action will continue and the match is not required to be interrupted. The player may reconnect as soon as possible. Another team player may choose to sub in at any time as long as there are only 4 team mates on the server. To allow for a player to sub, a player must drop first. At no time should there be more than 5 players connected to a server after the L03. Screenshot at Half: It is a good habit to take screenshots at the end of each half. Team Captains can refer to these screenshots when reporting the scores. Reporting requires that each half scores are tallied. To record a forfeit win, your Team Captain must report Points System: Win = 2 points, Tie = 1 point, Loss = 0 points, FF Loss = -1 points Pauses: Teams are allowed (2) tactical pauses of no more than 5 minutes per pause per match. Please refer to the Match Mod operation for more info on pauses. Timeouts do not count as tactical pauses. Overtime: In the event of overtime, a 10 second OT Intermission will take place and then the OT will begin automatically. Overtime money is set at $10,000 start money. Teams must play (3) rounds and are switched automatically. Overtime will continue until one team wins (4) of the (6) overtime rounds. Teams will start overtime on the side they are currently on. Regular Season: Regular season will be host to scheduled matches featuring a single map. Playoff Season: Playoff Season will be host to scheduled matches featuring our map veto function of the Match Mod. All Playoff Matches will be in a Best of Three format with the maps being selected through the process of veto. Status: It is the opposing teams responsibility to check that all players on the opposing team are on the CC Teams Roster. In console type status. Make a note of the Steam ID s and check them against the teams roster. Only after checking should the Team Captain type.ready. 5

6 LOG-IN TO CLUB CONFLICT Our website has messaging functionality built into it. Log-in to the Club Conflict website and check your messages by clicking on the My CC area in the top-right of the page. Your Username is your . If you do not remember your password, it can be reset through the website. Once logged-in, please check your messages and friend requests. We would like to encourage our members to take advantage of the social media functions built into our site such as adding Friends and sending Friend Requests. To send a message click on the Compose tab, select the drop down box and choose Send a Message. A Player Search box will appear. Type the first few letters of the player you would like to message. Their name should appear. Select their name and fill out the message. Do not forget to add a Subject. Once the message is ready, send it. You can see your Sent messages in your Sent tab. SCHEDULE AND SCHEDULING Team Owners/Captains are encouraged to check the schedule HERE. You can filter the schedule by selecting your team from the list. To schedule a match for a time other than the default match time of 8PM EST Wednesday nights, Owners/Captains must reach out to the opposing team and request a match reschedule prior to match night. Keep in mind that teams are not required to accept a reschedule. Teams should be prepared to play on the default match night. Teams that do not show on match night will be given a forfeit loss. Teams are required to wait in server no more than 15 minutes after the scheduled match time for their opponents. After 15 minutes, the team that does not show or that can t field 5 will forfeit the match or play short. To avoid having to play short (less than five), ensure that your team has a few extra players on your roster. Rosters will remain open until completion of week #4. Matches must be played by Sunday night at midnight EST of the week in which they were scheduled. Teams can play on any available match server as long as both teams agree upon it. Please check that the server is not already in use before connecting to it. Team Captains, please remind your team to record demos. 6

7 STEAM GROUP Team Owners/Captains are encouraged to create a Steam Group for your team. We plan on streaming matches for Season Seventeen on our Twitch.TV Channel. To ensure that your team will look their very best, have all members of your team join your Steam Group. Make sure all of your team members are tagged up with your teams Steam Group s tag. This will ensure that your team s name will appear in the match Streamed on Twitch.TV. MUMBLE We are pleased to have the support of GameServers.com for our league s Mumble voice communication. Mumble is a free download. Once you have downloaded and installed it, create a new server connection and add the following address: MBL9.GameServers.com Port Each team that participates in Club Conflict Season Seventeen is being offered a voice channel for their use. Please see Ballistics to get set up. Channels can be password protected and we encourage each team to set a password. CLUB CONFLICT CLIENT We are pleased offer additional anticheat protection to our league with the Club Conflict Client featuring Easy AntiCheat. Download and install the client. Once installed, launch the program prior to connecting to a match server. You will be required to have the client running to connect to our match servers. The Club Conflict Client is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 8 and Windows 10. Additionally, you may use the Steam version of Easy AntiCheat available for a free download in the Steam Store. 7

8 CONNECTING TO A MATCH SERVER Spectating in a match server is not allowed. Before connecting to a match server, ensure that it is not currently being used. 9 MATCH MOD Our Match Mod is the script that runs our Live on 3 Restarts functionality on our match servers. It is designed to easily facilitate administration of Club Conflict matches. To initiate the Match Mod, a Team Captain (or anyone who wishes to run the match) should first ensure the map scheduled is currently running. In chat type.setup the person who initiates.setup is the match/pug leader. If the match needs to be canceled for any reason, the match/pug leader must type.cancel and press (2). A message will be displayed stating that the match was canceled. To reinitiate the Match Mod, type.setup The following screen will be displayed: Simply press 1 and the Match Mod will be initiated with the default selected options. At this time, team members can switch sides and prepare for the knife round which will decide who plays on which side first. When ready, players must type.ready When all (10) players are ready the knife round will automatically start. 9

10 MATCH MOD Teams will knife fight until one player is victorious. The person who wins the knife round will be prompted to type.switch or.stay. Depending upon their choice, the teams may switch or they may remain. The Live on 3 restarts process will be initiated immediately upon completion of the knife round. In chat, type.help to see available commands (.setup must be enabled first). The following commands are available to the Match leader: Teams can call for a pause in the match at any time. Please do not abuse the pause function. Teams are asked to limit tactical pauses to (2) per match. Pauses should not exceed 5 minutes. Please communicate to the opposing team the reason for the pause in game chat. If a pause is called for after the freezetime/buytime is over (during action), the match will pause during the freezetime/buytime of the next round. Only the person who called for a.pause can.unpause the match. A message at the top of the screen will indicate that the match is about to be unpaused with a 10 second timer counting down, after which time the match will unpause.
