EPIC serves the entire community with a variety of ice skating and aquatics programs, classes, events and activities. EPIC experiences over one million visits per year. EPIC is home to the CSU Hockey and Water Polo Teams as well as the Fort Collins Area Swim Team (FAST) and Fort Collins Figure Skating Club

3 WELCOME TO 2016 FORT COLLINS FRIGHT FEST Welcome to 2016 Fort Collins Fright Fest October 25, 2016 Dear Competitors, Coaches, Families, and Friends: On behalf of the Fort Collins Figure Skating Club, we want to welcome you to the 2016 Fort Collins Fright Fest. Figure skating is not an easy sport, and we know how much time and effort our skaters have put into training for this day. It takes courage to compete, strength to persevere, and dedication to continue in pursuit of your figure skating dreams. As skaters, parents, coaches, and fans, we want to congratulate each and every skater competing here this weekend for their commitment to the sport of Figure Skating your energy and drive are motivational to us all. The Fort Collins Figure Skating Club is very proud of its home rink, Edora Pool Ice Center, and are very grateful for the support and assistance provided by EPIC s management and staff. We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the judges, officials, USFS staff, and Club members who volunteered their time to help us prepare for this weekend and to execute another memorable competition. 19 UPCOMING EVENTS Upcoming Events FORT COLLINS CLASSIC 2017 Thursday, March 30 Sunday, April 2, 2017 A USFSA sanctioned competition offering events at Basic Skills through Senior levels. Check for more information. SPRING SPECTACULAR ICE SHOW Friday May 5 Saturday, May 6, 2017 A high-caliber ice show produced by the City of Fort Collins and starring EPIC s skaters. Tickets and information will be available in early 2017 on SOUTHWESTERN REGIONAL FIGURE SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS & 2017 SOUTHWESTERN NINE STATES CHAMPIONSHIPS FCFSC will kick off the 2018 qualifying season by hosting this prestigious Southwestern Regional Figure Skating Championships. The top four skaters in the ladies and men's events at each of the nine regional championships will qualify for one of three sectional championships. The top four finishers at each level in each discipline at the sectional championships will earn a berth to the 2018 U.S. Figure Skating Championships Dec. 29, 2017-Jan. 7, 2018, in San Jose, California. The 2017 Southwestern Nine States Championship is the non-qualifying counterpart to the qualifying competition and will run in tandem with the regional championships. Information will be posted online at soon. GRASSROOS TO CHAMPIONS (G2C) SUPERCAMP An intensive week of on- and off-ice training for competitive figure skaters, Grassroots to Champions Super Camp is an experience you ll never forget. Limited to just 130 skaters each year, Super Camp provides a unique opportunity to learn from G2C faculty, including Olympic and national level coaches.
