A school administrator outside the rowing organization must sign off on submitted team rosters. Outstanding membership dues, additional entry fees, boating forms, waivers and scratch fees must be submitted to the headquarters on Friday afternoon, before the heats begin. The FIRA treasurer will be on-site and will be responsible for receiving forms and proper assessment and collection of scratch fees and penalty fees prior to the offending institution(s) launching its first entered event. See additional FIRA eligibility information below. ENTRY PROCEDURES: Information will be distributed via the FIRA list server (fira@lists.fit.edu). If you are not on the mailing list the registrar below. You must receive a confirmation for your scratch to be accepted. A member institution can request an addition if it does not cause heats. Guest institutions can cause heats. Acceptance is at the Executive board's discretion.
3 If accepted, the add will be assigned to the first lane available after all correct entries are assigned lanes, (even if the add is 5 minutes after the entry deadline, and lanes have not even been assigned). Acceptance can be conditional, that is, the requesting institution can be put on hold pending any scratches. If scratches open up lanes, and do not eliminate heats, the addition can be allowed. Conditional add would be resolved at scratch deadline either way.
