Can be developed by local communities Support local communities to adapt by ensuring their voices are heard when designing measures (i.e. pilot projects on fishing gear)

13 Aquaculture Aquaculture has a more territorial approach so FLAGs may have a more important role here. Environmental services Links aquaculture+fisheries+tourism Aquaculture policy shall aim at: Diversification and quality of life in coastal and inland areas Integrating aquaculture activities into maritime, coastal and inland spatial planning Collaboration between the industry and the scientific community (at.34.2 e)

The creation of networks, partnership agreements or associations between scientific bodies and fishermen, or organisations of fishermen Specially granted to FLAGs Transfer of knowledge between scientists and fishermen Training Studies, pilot projects, dissemination of knowledge
