Recommendation to verify the authorizations of the OROPs (ORP-PS, CIAT) Recommendation that the service of DIRECTEMAR verify identity of ships or multiple transmissions of AIS before checking the authorisations on the RFMOs It is recommended for the RFMO, go to the positions where the detections are not correlated Important: take into account the high density of vessels (fleet of squid)

37 CONCLUSIONS The Area of interest of Desventuradas: low level of compliance (287 ships with suspicious activity) 86 ships, with possible fishing activity (Desventuradas and Chile EEZ) 18 possible transshipments (8 vessels were not visible in AIS) In Desventuradas seasonal patterns: January to May
