3 INTRODUCTION This booklet is intended to provide members with sufficient information to enable them to partake fully in the club s activities if they so wish. Notice of events and activities are also posted from time to time in the clubhouse and on the club website. Members should check both regularly. Online tee booking is available for Saturday club days. Those members who wish to play in any particular section of the club, ie., men s, ladies or veteran s, and have any queries should contact the captain of that section who will only be too pleased to help. The clubhouse bar and catering facilities are open on competition days and on the afternoons of Thursday through to Sunday. A number of members use the clubhouse as a social gathering place on late Thursday and Friday afternoons. Members are reminded that this facility is available. 7 SUBSCRIPTIONS: The Rules of the Club provide that no member shall be eligible to participate in any competition after the 31st March if their subscription remains outstanding. RESIGNATIONS: Members contemplating resigning are requested to advise the Manager in writing as early as possible. A member is deemed to have resigned if the subscription is NOT paid by 30th April. LADIES DAY: Wednesday s are recognised as the Mid-week Ladies day. VETERANS DAY: Thursday s is Veterans day. In the event of a tie after 18 holes of HANDICAP MATCH PLAY, the match will be decided over the series of 3 holes. All finals will be played over 18 holes, with the exception of the Finals of the Club Championships, which will be played over 36 holes. New handicaps will take effect as soon as they are posted on the Handicap Board. ALL competitions to be played on the Handicaps as shown on the Handicap Board. Before commencing Handicap Match Play, players are responsible for verifying their handicaps. All matches to be played on the dates as set out in the programme except with permission of the Match Committee. All Score Cards MUST be returned in Competitions. Member s attention is drawn to the LOCAL RULES as shown on the Score Cards or the Noticeboard during the season.
