3 Thank You Dear Marion County, Thank you for being our partner in bringing the inaugural Coates Golf Championship presented by R+L Carriers at Golden Ocala to north central Florida. The tournament was an overwhelming success. Your support went a long way to ensure that spectators, players and our community had an unforgettable experience that will have them all excited for the return of the tournament in We hope you are proud to know that you were a part of producing an incredible tournament a tournament in which records were broken and history was made. Congratulations to Na Yeon Choi our first Coates Golf Champion and also to Lydia Ko. At the age of 17, Ko became the youngest golfer in the history of men's and women's golf to earn a number-one ranking in the world for professional golf after her finish at the Coates Golf Championship. It was exciting to see our hometown, Ocala/Marion County, highlighted on an international stage. The world was watching and will now continue to pay attention. The Coates Golf Championship was an impressive way for the LPGA to kick off 2015 and the planning for next year has already begun. 9 Charitable Benefits Jett Travolta Foundation The Jett Travolta Foundation objectives are to use its resources to assist and provide relief to children with vision, hearing, mobility, communication, behavior learning impairments or other special medical, environmental, health or educational needs. The Foundation also uses its resources to make grants for other charitable, literary and educational non-profit purposes, which may assist or benefit children and/or adults. Morgan Pressel Foundation The Morgan Pressel Foundation was started in order to further the fight against cancer, particularly breast cancer. Morgan, an LPGA professional, wanted to honor the memory of her mother, Kathryn Krickstein Pressel, who passed away at an early age due to breast cancer. In just six years her efforts, with the primary support of her sponsors, have raised over $2.7 million dollars to aid and support patient care and research in the fight against breast cancer.
