4 Meet the Team Robert Warburton ADVANCED PGA PROFESSIONAL & SPECIALIST PUTTING COACH With over 10 years experience on the front line of the golf industry, Robert is a forward thinking, innovative and driven director and professional. Robert is a graduate of the University of Birmingham where he completed the highly acclaimed Applied Golf Management Studies degree course in Upon leaving University, Robert took up a role within the Burhill Group as Junior Academy Manager and PGA Professional. During this time, Robert acted as an advisor to the Golf Foundation and the Burhill Group on junior golf strategy and innovation. Robert was at the forefront of developing Junior Golf across the Milton Keynes area and this included the creation and implementation of a highly successful Golf for Schools programme. Robert moved to Moor Park Golf Club in 2011 as a full time golf coach and was a founding director of First Degree Golf Academy in In 2016, Robert was awarded Advanced status of the Professional Golfers Association. Robert s role as a Director within First Degree involves implementation of the day to day needs of a busy golf Academy with a particular focus on creating and implementing a range of marketing strategies to drive the business goals. Robert s coaching role at Moor Park has a particular focus on Putting and he now heads up the 360 Degree Putting Lab. The 360 Putting Lab was founded in February 2017. It offers the ultimate indoor putting experience for both teaching and custom fitting set within the historic mansion of Moor Park Golf Club.

6 The 360 Putting Lab was founded in February It offers the ultimate indoor putting experience for both teaching and custom fitting set within the historic mansion of Moor Park Golf Club. The facility comprises of a 44m2 synthetic green with a partially sloped 3% surface and 7 hole locations offering the ability to bring as realistic as possible indoor putting experience to pupils. The lab is equipped with state-of-the-art technology for both left and right handed golfers. This techonlogy allows us to provide pupils with immediate visual feedback. and gain a 360 fact driver picture of a player s putting to help identify what is inhibiting them from producing their best performances, when it matters, out on the course under pressure. We utilise this technology simply and concisely to allow pupils to make both immediate gains and long term sustainable improvement. The facility also offers pupils the opportunity to get custom fitted for a new putter and discover if their current putter is the right fit for their stroke.
