2 Denplan Golf Days Summer 2015 Join Denplan this summer at our brand new Golf Days on some great golf courses in the UK. Whether you play golf seriously, or just like to enjoy time out of practice on a course, our new golf days are designed for everyone to enjoy. 3 The day will be a pairs competition. Play will be Stableford Better Ball off a ¾ handicap. To be eligible for the afternoon competition, we will require a competition handicap certificate. However, if you would prefer a more relaxed afternoon and not be included in the main competition or you do not hold a handicap certificate, you are very welcome to just enjoy the round at our fantastic venues. All golfers will be able to take part in smaller competitions throughout the day. 4 2 Stoke Park, Stoke Poges Friday 5th June Encircling the club s 300 acre Buckinghamshire parkland estate, the famous 27-hole Championship golf course is undisputedly one of the finest parkland courses in the country. Created in 1908 by eminent golf architect Harry Colt, the Stoke Park course has been the inspiration for many of the world s most famous holes, including Augusta s infamous 16th. Nestled on a private 600 acre peninsula between Lower Lough Erne and Castle Hume Lough, the course has stunning views from every vantage point and the Waters of the Lough play on 11 holes. 6 4 The Mere Golf Resort, Knutsford Thursday 18th June The James Braid designed golf course is undoubtedly one of the best prepared and well-conditioned golf courses in the North of England. The 18 hole, 6,882-yard, par-71 course was created out of 150 acres of Cheshire parkland in The surrounding mature trees, rhododendron bushes and the lakeside setting add considerable charm, and provide challenging hazards on this Cheshire golf course. Water, ravines and thick vegetation have been incorporated into the layout so that care and accuracy are demanded both off the tees and on the greens. 9 Terms and conditions 1. Player one must be a Denplan registered dentist. Player two can be a non Denplan member, or a member of your practice team based at your surgery 2. Should you wish to be entered into the competition, an active competition handicap certifi cate will be required to be shown on registration 3. Cost of entry is calculated by totalling all Denplan registered patients at your practice 4. Denplan reserve the right to refuse entry, for any reason 5. Denplan reserve the right to cancel, amend or change an event without prior notice 6. Competition is Stableford Better Ball played off a ¾ handicap. The maximum strokes received for men is 18 and 24 for women 7. Spaces are on a fi rst come fi rst served basis. Payment must be made at the time of booking to guarantee your space 8. Accommodation rates are subject to change and availability and can be withdrawn without notice 9.
