This will be a pairs event, with the scoring system being Better-Ball Stableford. The maximum handicaps will be 24 for men and 36 for women and all players will be required to bring their handicap certificates with them. We will also have an event organiser on-site throughout to ensure all runs smoothly. On arrival, you will receive an event golf shirt along with a Fancourt gift in your room. A welcome dinner will get the tournament underway the night before the first competition round. There will be plenty of prizes on offer and following the second and final competitive round, we will close with a presentation dinner. The winners of this inaugural event will each receive a Golfbreaks.com Pairs Fancourt Classic Jacket, which we hope will be the first of many to be awarded over the coming years. 9 THE LINKS Sculpted into what Gary Player has described as his greatest feat as a course designer The Links is the golfing hallmark of the Fancourt estate.
