3 This year our 15 th Annual UK Golf Classic will be hosted at the prestigious Bearwood Lakes Golf Club. MAD Leadership Foundation was founded in 2003 by Francois Pienaar and focuses on leadership development through education. The approach is to identify scholars with academic and leadership potential, who do not have the necessary financial resources to afford a quality education and offer them comprehensive support in the areas of education, mentorship, leadership and life-skills development. MAD Leadership Foundation s scholarship is awarded throughout the scholars academic and personal journeys and ensures that they have the necessary tools and opportunities to reach their full potential as future leaders of South Africa. Through the comprehensive, personal and long-term support offered to the MAD Leadership Foundation scholars through the Scholarship Programme, the aim is to develop an alumni of MAD Leadership Foundation fellows who invest back in South Africa and who are a powerful force for positive change in their unique way and leaders in their own right.

6 BEARWOOD LAKES GOLF CLUB The stunning 18 hole, Par72 layout measured 6,850 yards from the back tees and was designed by Guy Hockley, under the direction of Martin Hawtree. Set amidst 200 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside, the course at Bearwood Lakes is maintained with exceptional craftsmanship and unparalleled attention to detail, providing world class playing surfaces. With gently undulating putting surfaces constructed to full USGA specification, the course weaves its way through three natural lakes totalling 50 acres. The fairways are fully irrigated, and a variety of tee positions provide a stimulating challenge for golfers of all abilities. The first few holes roll across perfectly manicured fairways before you head into the tree-lined section of the course. A stop at the Halfway house will set you up nicely for holes 10 to 14 that define the course every single one a signature hole as you head for home along the edge of the main lake.
