1 LebanonTurf s advanced fertilizers, bionutritional products and grass seed have been helping turf professionals produce healthy turf and plants for more than 40 years. LebanonTurf is the only company that offers both microbiological components along with advanced controlled release fertilizer products. Best of All Worlds
2 LebanonTurf Technologies LebanonTurf continues to explore and develop the industry s most advanced turf management technologies to deliver the ultimate in efficient, cost effective lawn care operations. Our technologies are recognized by landscapers and turf managers as proven applications of science and experience at work. MESA is a unique nitrogen source that combines ammonium sulfate with methylene urea in a single, homogeneous particle. The result is an extremely efficient and controlled nitrogen source that produces consistent, dark green color without surge growth. Unlike coated nitrogen technologies, MESA does not lose its slow-release properties when cracked, chipped, crushed or broken. MESA technology is found in our Country Club and ProScape brand. Meth-Ex 40 is a high activity methylene urea nitrogen source that provides extended turf feeding without the need for coatings. Microbial release allows Meth-Ex 40 to release nitrogen when the turf needs it the most. The result is a quick color response with no surge growth and a consistent and reliable long-term feeding schedule. Meth-Ex 40 technology is found in our ProScape and Country Club brands. POTASSIUM SULFATE MD Maximum Dispersion Expo is LebanonTurf s patented, single-particle, extended release potassium sulfate technology. Expo is designed to deliver potassium to the turf in a reliable and predictable rate over a longer period of time, well beyond that of the standard potassium sulfate found in most fertilizers. Additionally, Expo delivers controlled release nitrogen. Expo is found in our ProScape brand. MD (Maximum Dispersion) Technology is uniquely formulated process that produces a highly dispersible homogeneous particle that delivers optimum nutrients and stressbuffering biostimulants in a single application. Turf treated with sea plant kelp meal and humic acid will outperform untreated turf in overall quality and playability during stressful conditions. MD technology is found exclusively in our Country Club brand. Patented Composite Technology fertilizer manufacturing process produces a superior fertilizer by fusing premium forms of nitrogen with phosphorus, potassium and select micronutrients. This revolutionary process creates a unique homogeneous granule with improved particle dispersion and integrity, along with a higher nitrogen activity. Composite Technology is found in our Country Club brand. CHELATION TECHNOLOGY MICROBIAL TECHNOLOGY MYCORRHIZAL TECHNOLOGY Chelating nutrients allows elements that would normally be tied up in soils to become available for plant uptake. This availability of nutrients to plants that are deficient or under stress is important to a plant s performance and health. Chelation Technology is found in our ROOTS brand. A healthy microbial environment in a soil profile is necessary for overall plant health. LebanonTurf s unique soil microbe complexes can enhance nutrition, improve soil physics or protect from disease. Microbes aren t just beneficial, they re essential. Microbial Technology is found in our ROOTS brand. Mycorrhizal fungi expand rooting capabilities and allow the plants the ability to take in necessary water, nutrients and micronutrients that would otherwise not be available. Incorporating a diverse population of mycorrhizal fungi at planting time, increases plant performance and survival. Mycorrhizal Technology is found in our ROOTS brand.

4 When it comes to turfgrass, players care most about what they can see color, consistency, speed, and density. Turfgrass managers care about these things too but they realize that without good agronomics, they can t deliver the cosmetics. They know that their turf needs to be physiologically fit so it will have good disease resistance, better stress tolerance, maximum carbohydrate reserves, and good root mass. The LebanonTurf Emerald Isle Solutions product line is designed with one mission to exceed the expectations of both players and turfgrass professionals. Emerald Isle Solutions True Foliar vs. "Liquids" All foliars are liquids, but not all liquids are TrueFoliars. In other words, don t confuse the method of application with how a plant absorbs what s applied. Just because you re spraying it on doesn t mean you re spraying it in. It's well known that turfgrass plants are capable of taking up nutrients through the leaf tissue. It's also been established that the stomates, or larger openings in the leaf tissue, are not likely the primary means of entry for foliar nutrients. Under favorable environmental conditions, stomates may be open and allow nutrient entry. However when stress occurs, these stomatal guard cells close to conserve moisture which renders them incapable of taking in nutrients. Transcuticular pores, which are far more numerous than stomates, are always open. Transcuticular pores are much, much smaller than stomates and their opening walls carry a negative electrical charge. They can serve as entry points for nutrients if the nutrients are in a form that is small enough to enter. Emerald Isle Solutions TrueFoliar products sidestep the electrochemical and physical obstacles by formulating nutrients into a non-traditional matrix. This protects the nutrient chemistry, enhances uptake and utilization, and minimizes the potential for leaching. Nutrients translocate throughout the plant Country Club MD / Emerald Isle Solutions Agronomic Programs Transcuticular pore spaces -- These are always open, more numerous but smaller. Stomatal openings-- historically the entryway into foliage for liquid fertilizers. Larger openings, but more often closed than open. LebanonTurf has recently released several agronomic programs featuring both Country Club MD and Emerald Isle Solutions products designed specifically for golf course management situations. These programs were developed to compliment the strengths and benefits of both product lines which allow golf course superintendents to better control both their nutrition and stress management programs. These the programs can be downloaded from the Country Club MD website, in the "Downloads" section. 5 Product Lines Emerald Isle Solutions TrueFoliar nutrition is more than just high-quality, foliar-absorbed nutrients. It also incorporates seaplant extract, antioxidants, fulvic acids, and amino acids. This complete nutritional approach increases the turf s ability to withstand stress, drought, and disease pressure and to produce carbohydrate reserves and root mass. Such a comprehensive approach goes beyond just feeding turf, and ensures turfgrass managers consistently good turf quality.
