2 MULTIMAT Our Story so far... The story begins in 1998 as we patent and start manufacturing our iconic MULTIMAT (winter and pre tournament golf mat). It s purpose to end divot scarring on golf courses. It is still being made today in Manchester, and is shipped globally to over 500 golf venues every year. In 2000, our first golf course equipment range launches. We quickly establish ourselves with a basic range of flags, flagpins, hole cups, tee markers and bunker rakes. Word spreads quickly (as does our product range), and we are contacted by the R & A in 2003 to manufacture a bespoke set of traditional red top flagpins and double tie flags for The Open Championship, being held at Royal St Georges (Sandwich). We also supplied the hole cups, and our MULTIMAT protected the fairways prior to the tournament, ensuring a divot free course was enjoyed by many, and a perfect course was televised to a global audience. Our MULTIMAT is used again for a major competition, this time by Royal Liverpool Golf Club to protect the course prior to the Open Championship of Famously, Tiger Woods won the tournament using his driver only once during the whole competition. We outgrow our premises, and move our production to a new state of the art warehouse in Our MULTIMAT is used again by Royal St George s Golf Club to protect the course prior to the Open Championship, which Darren Clarke won with a score of 275 (-5). Our first e-commerce website launches in 2012, allowing us to deliver our products across Europe and the rest of the World. Royal Portrush Golf Club uses MULTIMAT to protect the course prior to the Irish Open, the first in Northern Ireland since Royal Portrush will once again host The Open Championship in 2019 following an absence of 68 years. In 2014 we head to the end of the M62 and another guest appearance at the Open Championship venue of Hoylake, Royal Liverpool Golf Club. MULTIMAT again protects the course prior to the competition, which is won by another Irishman Rory McIlroy. He became the first European to win three different majors and joined Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods as one of only three golfers to win three majors by the age of 25. By 2015 we are making more friends with the launch of our Facebook page. Today we re having conversations all over the web, via Twitter and Facebook. In 2016 we celebrated 18 years and our Coming of age at Fairway Products with the launch of our brand new e-commerce website and the limited edition MULTIMAT NEON. Our range of golf course equipment and greenkeeping tools continues to be updated and reaches an even bigger audience. It is our 20th Anniversary in 2018 and as Britain prepares to leave the EU, the strength of UK manufactured products and supplies becomes even more important. 13 Fairway Products (UK) Ltd Terms and Conditions of Sale (abbreviated) For full terms and conditions visit our website PRICES Prices quoted in the brochure and on the website are in pounds sterling and are correct at the time of going to press. However please note that Fairway Products has a policy of continual improvement and prices, weights, measurements, sizes, colours and materials may vary from time to time. Goods will be invoiced accordingly and orders are accepted on the basis of prices prevailing at the time of despatch. Please ask for a price check at time of order if you are in any doubt. ALL PRICES SHOWN IN THE BROCHURE ARE SUBJECT TO CARRIAGE CHARGES AND VAT WHICH WILL BE CHARGED AT THE PREVAILING STANDARD RATE. Copies of Fairway Products carriage charges are available on request. PAYMENT NON ACCOUNT HOLDERS Payment will be required in full prior to despatch of goods. ACCOUNT HOLDERS - Strictly nett within 30 days of invoice date. We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest (at 8% over the Bank of England base rate) and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to our agreed credit terms. Non-payment within our requested settlement period will also result in your account being placed on a pro-forma basis for future orders. GOODS RECEIVED On receipt of any delivery, the goods should be examined by the consignee. When this cannot be done, they should be clearly marked as unexamined. If a signature is obtained for items received in good condition no claims can be considered. This is a standard condition of all courier firms and is one over which we have no control. RETURNS Authorised returns will be accepted subject to a 10% re-stocking charge, and if appropriate, a return carriage charge. Refunds will be given on the basis that the returned goods are undamaged, and in a saleable condition. NON DELIVERY/DAMAGE Non-delivery must be notified within 5 days of receipt of invoice and confirmed in writing, otherwise no liability can be considered. Claims for damaged goods must be notified to us within 3 days of delivery and in writing within 7 days of delivery date. Claims notified after these periods will not be considered. LIMITED WARRANTY Fairway Products warrants its goods to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Fairway Products sole obligation under this warranty shall be to repair, replace or refund to it s buyer the price of the defective goods or components. All such repairs, refunds and replacements are subject to rules, terms and conditions that Fairway Products may promulgate from time to time. DISCLAIMER OF OTHER WARRANTIES The foregoing limited warranty is in leiu of all other warranties express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Fairway Products be liable for indirect, consequential or special damages of any nature whatsoever.
