We liked the way he fought hard first up beating all bar the first two across the line & will only improve fitness wise. Keep in mind those first two home have since gone on to win at their next starts & now it's the turn of EVERYBODY HAPPY to do the same. We suggest backing him to win! LINCOLN MOONLIGHT & SUPER WIN both come into this race having their 3rd starts in a race & both also take the step up from 1200m to 1400m. On their efforts to date they haven't appeared to be 'busting' for the longer trip however we have no doubt both will run it out ok & on figures LINCOLN MOONLIGHT looks to hold a slight edge. The one we'll be keeping a close eye on is OFFICIAL who was well supported on debut yet failed to run on, he really didn't seem to stride too freely however there was nothing of note in the stewards report. Since sent back to the trials he closed off just as well in a recent heat behind the very smart looking JOMO who bolted in here on Friday night at his local debut. He always looked to travel well in the run for Michael Rodd & once let down in the straight quickly put his rivals to the sword & held over a 2 length margin to the line without being pushed right out. Rodd stays on board, he'll carry no more weight & can repeat the dose. LUCKY HADA was a solid winner two back before not having the best of luck last time, he can bounce back here with a better run in the race & a stronger tempo set up front. He takes the step to 2000m for the first time having given no indication he won't see it out & with the claim will only have 53kg to carry. The notable Class dropper is LETITGO who comes out of the Group 3 El Dorado last start when beating all bar the winner King Louis who was ridden a treat that day by Glen Boss. Stays at the 2000m & looks a definite danger as does TRIPLE TRIO who has been finishing his races off very strongly of late over considerably shorter trips, 4 weeks break up to 600m is the concern though, keep an eye on which way the market goes with him Back - #2 Letitgo; #4 Triple Trio; #3 Lim's Revent Hcp (C3) - Sunday, 21 October Race 4 (12) 7-Gold Reward 8-Solo Sun 2-Letitgo 5-Lionrockspirit 1-Value Of Justice 4-Triple Trio 9-Keep Spinning 3-Lim's Revent 10-Magnificent Gold 11-Mr Dujardin 12-Higher Soul 6-Viola Da Terra

Ridden the perfect race by Glen Boss he sat back well off the lead before gradually closing ground to the turn all whilst travelling well within himself, once unleashing in the straight he quickly took care of the opposition. Drops back 200m for this however has been kept nice & fresh coming off a months freshen up. We're backing him to win. MY BIG BOSS has only had the 4 starts to date & is yet to put in a subpar performance, he raced in strong juvenile company at his initial campaign before resuming recently with a tough win where he paired out down the straight to outgun Ararat Lady with a decent gap back to the rest. He'll take plenty of improvement from that run & will need to as he takes on more seasoned opposition here. LIM'S REFORM the big class dropper, far from disgraced of late & hasn't raced at this level for quite some time. He has some serious form in Group 1 & 2 races at the end of his most recent campaign failing in Group 1 company at his final run however there were excuses offered on that occasion. His win here in the best form reference the Raffles Cup (also Group 1) a month back had to be seen to be believed, settling a clear last he stood the leaders 10 lengths start at the 400m & 6 lengths at the 200m however powered over the top of them late to arrive on the line. Expect him to settle well back again as that's his pattern however with the long run home & an additional 200m we're confident he can get the job done once again. Once again those at the top of the early markets (guide only) do possess the better figures being EYE GUY & LIM'S LIGHTNING. EYE GUY just may have to do a little work early to find his usual position up on the pace & he does rise in weight, the plus though is he has Duric steering who will make that task as easy as possible. LIM'S LIGHTNING also draws awkwardly, he too will be looking for a prominent spot early on for the apprentice. For those looking at bigger odds here I'd suggest specking BAFFERT & DRAGON DUKE, can make cases for both.
