Raced wide without cover throughout. 5 RAPTOR N JUGLALL - Rider, when questioned regarding the gelding performing below market expectation, stated that the gelding travelled well from the start to the 800m, however, after passing the 600m, its stride became shorter and was not striding out freely. His explanation was noted. Impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. Raced keenly in the middle stages and approaching the 800m, had to be eased to avoid the heels of MY MIRACLE. 4 FLAUNT R WOODWORTH - Jumped away awkwardly and bumped shortly after. 7 FOREVER WIN N JUGLALL - Bumped on jumping. Near the 1100m, shifted inwards and made contact with SUPER WIN on several occasions. Rider, when questioned regarding the gelding performing below market expectation, stated that the gelding was outpaced throughout the race and could offer no further explanation for the disappointing performance. His explanation was noted. Trainer D Logan, when questioned regarding today's performance, explained that the gelding was only having its second race start and taking into account its immaturity combined with having to race wide on a surface where back markers were not making ground, she was of the opinion that the performance had merit and given the way the horse finished off the race would be looking to step up to 1400m at its next start. Her explanation was noted. Impounded for routine veterinary and analytical examination. The Veterinary Surgeon reported no apparent abnormality. 8 MY MIRACLE S NOH - Jumped outwards making contact with the hindquarters of FLAUNT. Raced wide without cover. 10 CARIBBEAN LADY M LERNER - Which was fractious and sat back badly in the barrier, was taken out and examined by the Veterinary Surgeon. Acting on veterinary advice, the Panel of Stewards ordered its withdrawal at 1347Hrs. App N Zyrul, the rider of GINGERMAN, in the presence of his Master's B Trainer, Mr J Ong, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that near the 1000m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards, when not fully clear of RIVER SUPERSTAR (D Moor), resulting in that horse having to be checked. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea, the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from App Zyrul that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meeting on Sunday, 06 January App Zyrul was suspended from riding in races with effect from Monday, 07 January 2019 to Sunday, 13 January 2019 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal. App CK Ng, the rider of SATELLITE STAR, pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that near the 800m, he permitted his mount to shift inwards, leaving insufficient racing room for the runners to his inside, that resulted in crowding to HIPPO VENTURA (N Juglall), HEE'S FORTE (App M Nizar) and ULIMATE KILLER (App A Syahir), having to be checked and almost fall. When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, guilty plea and the degree of interference and carelessness. App Ng was suspended from riding in races with effect from Tuesday, 02 April 2019 to Sunday, 14 April 2019 both dates inclusive (four Singapore Race Days) and was advised of his Right of Appeal. This penalty will be served consecutively following the completion of his suspension from Wednesday, 02 January 2019 until Monday, 01 April 2019 both dates inclusive (a period of three months)

Unable to improve its position from the 600m when disappointed for a clear run and continued to having difficulty in obtaining clear running in the straight and then was further held up inside the 100m and subsequently went to the ning Post without being fully tested. Rider, when questioned regarding the gelding performing below market expectation, stated that his mount suffered interference shortly after the start and further added that it was then held up and unable to secure clear running for the majority of the homestraight. Trainer D Meagher, when questioned regarding the overall performance, explained that in the past, the gelding had failed when ridden on speed and expected the horse to settle midfield given the amount of speed that was in the race today and when ridden this way, he expected the horse to make ground in the straight. He further added that the gelding had worked well during the week and had had no setbacks and its recent form had been good without winning and was confident it would be competitive today.
