HUGO's figures aren't as good as ARARAT LADY's single performance however he does come out of a couple of stronger Maiden's being beaten only by the winner on each occasion who are both good types particularly Siam Vipasiri who beat him by over 3 lengths last run. Drawn a perfect gate Craig Williams takes the ride. ARARAT LADY was narrowly beaten on debut & has since been back to the trials to keep the fitness levels up, she coasted home in her heat racing up on the lead & will likely push on early here to offset the awkward draw for Rodd.
