4 A look through the pages As the 2016 edition of the annual yearling sales approach this month, it s only fitting that Harnessed flicks its way through the pages of the catalogue in an attempt to find some potential standout lots worth keeping an eye out for. Bear in mind that these are done without physically inspecting the yearlings but are formed on history, breeding and opinion which at the end of the day is 90 per cent of the dilemma that potential buyers face anyway. The other 10 per cent is, naturally, pure luck. Call it a little light-hearted fun if you like. But don t be offended if your proposition isn t in here. Have the full-sister racing in some of the biggest races in Australia around the time of the sale is only going to enhance this colt s chances of fetching a great price.
