2 Welcome Early in our development, we found it difficult to find quality equine equipment at horse shows and commercial equine facilities. We spent time researching stall solutions yet most were inefficient and costly. We founded American Stalls to make commercial stabling safer, easier to maintain, and more aesthetically pleasing. Since 2006, we have channeled our energy to consistently improve our portable horse stalls. The result is portable equine equipment that features seamless welding, bold aesthetics, and mindfully-placed stall features. 4 Who We Are Bold. We are the industry leader in portable horse stalls because we routinely challenge industry norms. The modern equestrian is busier than ever. We accordingly design our equine equipment to fit the modern equestrian s lifestyle. Our Show Series portable horse stalls sport a synthetic vinyl that replaces traditional lumber. The change allows for a lightweight, yet highly durable horse stall that is easily movable. Lastly, our vinyl comes in more than a dozen color combinations allowing equestrians to add personality to their barns. Our bold design makes for a simple, safe, and stunning horse stall. Our products are designed by horse people, for horse people. That means we design our equipment with a focus on functionality. Each horse stall includes four panels and minimal installation hardware cutting your set up time in half. Our stall gates feature a simple, refined look led by a seamless gentle roll yoke and double frame bar. Our Stall Gates and Elite Show Series feature a gentle roll yoke that allows your horse to peek their head out. We purposely chose our Show Series stalls vinyl which discourages kicking, eliminates splinters, and decreases potential injuries. Our vinyl is also easily wiped, washed, and disinfected. 7 The Show Series Our Show Series horse stalls feature lightweight panels that weigh approximately 110 lbs each. This design allows for easy installation and take down. Functionality meets durability as each stall features a 14-gauge galvanized steel frame finished with a smooth powder coat. This double coat withstands rust and the rigors of everyday usage. 19 THE STEEL A L L H O R S E S T A L L E Q U I P M E N T There s plenty of confusing terms thrown around in the horse stall industry. We understand that the majority of customers do not come from a steel background. One of the questions that we often get is, what is a steel gauge? S T E E L G A U G E S Gauges are used to specify the thickness of a sheet metal. Gauges are neither standard or metics the values are independent of those measurement systems The lower the gauge, the thicker the steel. NOTE: 12-gauge steel is thicker than 14-gauge steel. S T E E L G A U G E S U S A G E We utilize 14-gauge steel for our PORTABLE HORSE STALLS to achieve lightweight design and ultimate durability. We utilize 12-gauge steel for our PERMANENT HORSE STALLS since owners tend to drill these stalls into the foundations of their barns. Horse Stalls 101 The Steel 18

20 THE FINISH A L L H O R S E S T A L L E Q U I P M E N T There s many options in the horse stall industry when it comes to steel finishes. Get the most out of your hard-earned money by understanding the pros and cons of every viable option in the market. We explain the differences in hot-dip galvanizing, electroplating, and powder coating below. 3 FACTORS TO CONSIDER: 1. APPEARANCE How important is a smooth, seamless appearance for your facility s overall aesthetics? 2. ENVIRONMENT What is your surrounding environment like? Do you have excess amounts of moisture or salt in your area? 3. MAINTENANCE Are you willing to perform occasional maintenance on your equipment? HOT DIP GALVANIZING ELECTROPLATING POWDER COATING Hot dip galvanizing will provide the best protection from rust. This process creates a thick, scratch-resistant, rustresistant coating even in coastal areas that receive regular salt exposure. We first completely construct, weld, and clean our equine equipment. The entire product is then submerged into a bath of molten zinc. This zinc bonds to the steel creating several layers of zinc-iron alloy. This creates the easy-identifiable crystallized pattern that covers the surface. This process is when steel is electroplated with a pure zinc coating. This occurs when we run a current of electricity through a zinc solution with a zinc anode and steel conductor. This process is not commonly used in horse stall equipment. However, we do use this process to manufacture our racetrack style Stall Gates. Electroplated steel is less resistant to rust than hot-dip galvanizing, but it produces a more aesthetically pleasing surface. Powder coasting will lead to the smoothest, most uniform finish of all coating types. Before coating, we ensure that our steel is grind down to allow for a smooth powder coated finish. This coating forms a smooth protective skin over the equipment s steel. High quality powder coat finishes last several years when properly maintained. These stalls are dubbed portable because they can be installed anywhere, in any configuration. Lumber and puck board fillers add durability, but also add substantial weight. If you operate a horse show, these heavier portable stalls are best suited if you intend to leave the stalls in place for an extended period of time. Our lightweight nylon-webbed vinyl allows each horse stall panel to weigh less than 140 lbs. 23 INSTALLATION A L L H O R S E S T A L L E Q U I P M E N T We cannot speak for other manufacturers, but most horse stalls are fairly straightforward to put together. We prepare our permanent stall equipment with pre-drilled holes to ensure easy installation. We also work with you, your architect, and contractor to design horse stalls stalls according to your facility s requirements. Our team helps provide direction throughout the design and manufacturing process. Our portable stalls are available with two connectivity systems designed and refined after years of experience.. The first system features connector pins that are inserted at the top and bottom of each respective stall. Our second system features a pin and cup system that is prewelded on each stall panel. Both systems allow for simple installation that takes less than six minutes per horse stall! Each connectivity system preserves structural integrity; making our stalls strong enough to remain free-standing. Lastly, we understand the need for adaptability in barns.
