Good forequarter and very good hindquarter angulations. Stands with good withers, firm straight back, good croup that could be a tick longer. Balanced chest proportions. Stands correct in front with very good top and underline. Steps correct going and coming with elbows yet to attain final firmness. Exhibits very good ground coverage with free reach and very good drive. Very Good Summary L/B Ursus von Batu 5-5 Toby Plassenburg a Wegas v Fichtenschlag son, brings us the strength of Vegas du Haut Mansard, by Pakros d Ulmental, and from his motherline, Orbit Huhnegrab, a Yasko Farbennspiel son. This lovely bitch s mother, the beautiful and well producing Hausosin Gallana, was a Minor Bitch Class winner at a Queensland National a few years back and I believe gained Reserve Challenge Bitch from that position. Gallana is a Mika v Overledingerland daughter. This line of Quenn v Loher Weg was coupled to Hausosin Aintnosin, a Troy Noriswand daughter, to bring us a litter, three of which are exhibited in the Intermediate classes LSC bitch and dog, and SC Bitch in the 2014 SBE. Very pleasing masculine head, very good expression, desired dark eye. Stands with high withers, straight back, good croup that could be just a tic longer. Very good balanced fore and hindquarter angulations, slight roach over the topline. Good fore and underchest. Stands not quite correct in front. Steps slightly loose going and coming. A large, strong, substantial, harmoniously constructed, well coated, coloured and pigmented long stock coat male of very good type. Very good head and expression, very good masking, dark eyes. Stands with high withers, firm back, good croup that could be a tick longer. Very good balanced angulations. Very good top and underline. Stands still correct in front. He exhibits balanced movement with very good ground coverage where the reach could be just a little freer. Off lead gait shows expansive movement, again slight restriction of the forequarter but maintaining a firm back and exhibits himself as a very good representative of the long stock coat German Shepherd dog breed. Unfortunately reacted to the gun today and was down graded. Very Good. LSC State Sieger 2014 Summary His sire, Seigen Party Starter by the Ex. Merit dog, State Sieger Iccara X Man CDX ET, perhaps the leading son of State Sieger Eisenland Fernando, an Uno Urbecke son,also carrying Hasenway Wild Knight, a Monte Cito son, and Quincito Awol, and through his dam, Seigen All For Love, a Troy v der Noriswand daughter out of Whoopi vom Arminius, goes back to Scott Deodatus. His mother, Seigen Miss Know It All, a Pino v Drei Birkenzwinger daughter, carrying the lines of Eros Luisenstrasse and Cello Römerau, is out of Fremont Yours Truly, by Aimsway Gold Logie who goes back to Laios v Noort, and on the dams side carries Sieger Iniff Vagrant, all through Aimsway bitches. I was very much looking forward to seeing Progeny of this well bred dog of excellent qualities. Baby Puppy Bitch Class Summary GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG (STOCK COAT) BABY PUPPY BITCH Judge: Mrs Robyn Knuckey I would like to take this opportunity to thank the GSDA of WA for the kind invitation to judge again at the 2014 State Breed Exhibition. This continues to be an extremely well supported event by the breeders and exhibitors of the Association. A special thank you to the stewards and stenographers that have worked diligently to support the judges over the entire weekend. The entry for the weekend was excellent, so thanks to all for entering. The Baby Bitch class had 14 entries, 12 presented on the morning of the show, 1 was withdrawn with the judge s permission as she was limping. One of the babies scratched, arrived late and was subsequently critiqued as a part of the Critique Only class. Of the 14 entries, there were 10 sires and dams represented, 6 of those sires are WA based. Three bitches presented in the Open Bitch class had progeny in the Baby Bitch class. The only multiple sires, were from one litter, so there are no dominant bloodlines presented in the class. This evidenced some differences in type, but overall a very high quality class with all baby puppies graded very promising. The winning bitch, Iccara Eyes on Fire (Vladimir Anarchy/Brutus 2-3), her dam and grand-dam were presented in to Open Bitch class. She is the continuation of a very strong motherline, with all of a very similar type and virtues. The second bitch, Alderhaus Pixies Emilee (Hill Farbenspiel 4-5, Pia Zenteiche 5-5) also had her mother presented in the Open Bitch class. She is a substantial and very well pigmented bitch, similar type to the bitch in first place, but in general, a lot looser coming and going. In third place, Shaygar Willo The Whisp, sired by the 2014 Sieger, Hinterhaus French Liaison, a more medium strong, firmer and drier baby, with very good sequence of steps, standing in the type of her sire.

Slightly fine, compactly proportioned baby puppy dog of promising type. Black and gold saddle markings. The head should be stronger. Normal length of neck, high withers, straight back, short and steep croup. Correct in front. Somewhat soft in pasterns. Normal fore and underchest development for his age. Good forequarter angulation and extreme hindquarter angulation. Moves cow-hocked and loose behind and slightly wide in front with loose elbows. Still displays good ground-covering movement, where the reach should be more free and the drive more powerful. Very Promising 4

7 Class Summaries - Minor and Puppy Classes Ms Natalie Humphries Hello, and thank you for exhibiting your lovely dogs and bitches under me in the Minor and Puppy classes. The following is a brief overall of the classes I judged based on what was seen on the day. Minor Bitch Class - 9 entered, 1 scratched, 1 transferred to Critique Only class. 5 different sires were represented. My winning bitch, exhibit No. 325 Volscaro Classic Porscha, Sire Seigen Suri s Alfie Dam Volscaro Missy Brown (exhibited in Open Bitch Class Excellent Merit 2). For me this bitch was my clear winner on the day with her overall very good type, angulations, length of neck and very good top and underline. Overall Class virtues:. Very good size. Some mixed type due to number of different sires. Generally good eye colour Faults:. Some slightly deep hindquarters. Some short necks Minor Dog Class - Will be discussed with puppy dog class due to only 1 exhibit in this class. Puppy Bitch Class - 7 entered, all presented. 5 different sires represented again resulting in some mixed type. My winning bitch, exhibit No. 333 Joanchell Priska IID. Her Dam Bonita v Contra was exhibited in the Open bitch class (Excellent Merit 3) The winner is of lovely type and proportions with very good length of neck and very good top and underline. My one small criticism is that I would prefer her to stand more correct in front. Her litter sister was placed VP 6 in this class. Overall Class Virtues:. Generally good size with only a few larger animals. Good underlines Faults:. Tendency in a number of exhibits to not stand correct in front which was reflected in movement coming towards (wrists turning out). Some slightly deep hindquarters. Only 1 exhibit with correct dark eye colour. Minor and Puppy Dog Classes - 1 minor dog entered and shown, 3 puppy dogs entered and shown. 3 different sires represented Type is once again mixed. Winning puppy dog, Joanchell Panto IID, was of very good type with very good top and underline and is the litter brother to the winning Puppy bitch. Overall Class Virtues:. Size is generally good with only 1 dog standing on upper limit.. Generally good eye colour Faults:. Tendency for a number of exhibits to not stand correct in front.. Some Slightly deep hindquarters. 1 dog with a wry bite

Normal withers, straight back, croup is of good lay, could be just a tick longer. Praiseworthy length of neck. Good forequarter angulation, where the upper arm could be slightly better angled, slightly deep hindquarter angulation. Praiseworthy underline. Stands correct in front. Steps slightly loose going and correct coming. Shows very good balanced powerful movement with correct sequence of steps. Medium size, medium strong, black and tan puppy bitch of very good type and proportions. Very good head and expression with good medium eye colour. Normal withers, firm straight back, croup is slightly short and slightly steep. Good length of neck, good forequarter angulation, the upper arm could be slightly longer and better angled. Very good hindquarter angulation. Very good underline. Stands correct in front. Steps slightly loose going and correct coming. Shows very good balanced movement where the drive is slightly more effective than the reach at this point in time. Very Promising 3 rd 394 KAPERVILLE WILD AT HEART DOB: 24/07/2013 S:*Ch Sabaranburg Esko AZ Ex.M Br: EXH D:*Iccara Ashanti Alleycat AZ Exh: Animal Kapers Board. Knls 8.5 months. Medium size, medium strong black and tan bitch of very good type and proportion. Very good head and expression with good medium eye colour. Normal withers, firm straight back, croup is slightly short and slightly steep. Good forequarter angulation, just slightly deep hindquarter angulation. Good underline. Stands not quite correct in front. Steps loose going, coming she turns the left wrist out. Shows good movement, the drive is a bit more effective than the reach at this point in time. She is presented in too heavy condition, which is affecting the ligamentation over the backline. Very Promising 4 th 326 VOLSCARO INDI DOB: 4/09/2013 S:*Seigen Suris Alphie AZ Ex.M Br: L Pearson D:*Volscaro Missy Brown AZ Ex Exh: B&R Wishart 7.5 months. Medium size, medium strong black and tan bitch of very good type and proportions. Very good head and expression, with medium eye colour. Level withers, straight back, croup is short and steep. Short neck. Good fore, upper arm should be longer and much better angled. Good underline. Stands correct in front. Steps loose going, turns right wrist out slightly coming. Shows good movement where both the reach and the drive should be more effective. Above medium size, medium strong black and tan puppy bitch of very good type and proportions. Good head and expression with medium eye colour. I would prefer to see more breadth of the skull and foreface and more strength in the lower jaw. Normal withers, straight back, croup is of good lay, could be slightly longer. Good forequarter angulation, the upper arm could be longer and better angled. Very good hindquarter angulation. Good underline. She stands correct in front. Steps slightly loose going, correct coming. Shows good balanced movement, prefer to see the reach a little bit freer. Very Promising

12 JUNIOR BITCH Judge :Mrs Robyn Knuckey Junior Bitch Class Summary With the Junior Bitch class there were 11 entries, with the full class presented on the day. The class is represented by 9 sires and 10 dams, 6 of the 9 sires are WA based. The most dominant sire is *Seigen Suris Alfie with 3 daughters from 2 litters. These were placed 2, 7 & 9. There were 2 progeny in this class of bitches entered in the Open Bitch class. This class was again one of very high quality, but some mixture in overall type, which is to be expected with the broad spectrum of bloodlines presented. The gradings were Very Good Merit to the first placed bitch (the second bitch would have been graded VGM as well, but is yet to gain the AZ stamps) and the following 10 were graded Very Good. Six bitches have no linebreeding in their pedigree and 5 with linebreeding, 4 to Iwan Lechtal and 1 to Troy Noriswand The first placed bitch Seigen Fashions Fireworks AZ, is out of the successful dam Kazkiri Suri (also the dam of Seigen Suris Alfie) & Willy Wonka. She was very impressive during all phases of the class, with very good pigmentation and the correct stage of development for a Junior Bitch, presenting with correct height to length ratios, very good length of neck, and very powerful movement at the walk and gait. The second placed bitch Seigen Mini Miss Bliss (Alfie x Bliss Fulicious), the similarity in type is noted between the first two bitches, but as only just into the class has not gained her AZ stamp. She is just under medium size, very good length of neck, and very free flowing, powerful movement, with very good overall firmness of the topline. The bloodline connection is obvious. The third bitch, Iccara Love Me Tender AZ, (Gold Logie x Vladimir Fetish), is stronger and more compact in body proportions to the 2 bitches in front of her with overall very good firmness of ligamentation.
