3 First Australians The first human ever to be on Australia was the aboriginals. The aboriginals lived in tribes and hunted in packs. The aboriginals used tools like rocks to smash berries and spears to catch fish. They also use boomerangs to kill animals like kangaroos to eat and use the skin for clothes. There are no baths, they wash themselves in fresh water rivers. The aboriginals also did paintings with things like smashed berrys. 1

5 Questions Why was there no water? The Origen Of Water Summery Prediction My prediction is the story will be about water. I think it will be a dream time story. Feeling I think that all the animals were very cross that Bangarra wouldn't show them the water. Moral Little things can make a big difference. This story was about animals that didn't have any water. One day they saw Bangarra the blue- tongue lizard drying him self behind a rock. They thought he had water but Bangarra wouldn't tell so the animals had a meeting they sent midin the ring-tailed possum out to follow Bangarra, but when Bangarra looked in the corner of his eye he saw midin and didn't show the water. The animals had another meeting and sent out Jiggerjigger the willy wagtail, but when Jiggerjigger hid he couldn't stop his tail from moving. They had one more meeting and gula the rat said"i will go". All the animals laughed and said "your to small". Gula ran off and followed Bangarra and discovered water springs under a flat rock. All the animals were very happy.

6 18th Century England In 18th century England most the people were very poor. There was few that were wealthy.the poor people had to move to the city because in the country the rich people had all the land and there were no jobs. Small kid were sent to orphanages maybe because there parents died and there were very bad conditions. People stole to survive. If they got caught stealing they got very harsh punishment. Unlike now people could get hanged. Most people wore dark clothes not because they wanted they were very dirty and they couldn't wash them. People had shops to make money but none of the people had money to buy it. Lots of people were being put in jail for stealing so they were getting very crowded. Instead of building new ones the government used old ships from the war with France. Soon the ships got crowded to, they had to get rid of some prisoners so they send them out on the boats times.htm

7 The First Fleet My name is Susannah Allen I stole some clothing and my punishment was transportation. I was transported for seven years I stayed there afterwards because I didn't have enough money to get back home. The value of my crime was ten shillings it doesn't seem like much today

8 Bound For Botany Bay Who is singing this song? The convicts were the ones that were singing the song. Why are they singing it? The convicts were singing the song to express there feelings. Some of them felt very bad because shipped out for little crimes but lots of them felt very happy because they did not like England at all. Why are they saying farewell to Old England forever? Because even when there time was over they wouldn't have had enough money to get on a ship. Where were they going? Why?
