1 Hotline: P.O. Box Littleton, CO December 2006 REMINDER TO ALL MEMBERS Lockheed Martin's Workplace Security policy, CPS-565 is strictly enforced. One provision of the policy is a workplace free of weapons, which includes Firearms, Ammunition, Bows and Arrows. The club must emphasize this policy to our members. Additionally, a state issued CCW permit does not supersede nor over ride this LMA policy. Members wanting to store firearms OR archery equipment during the day ONLY, must contact Gene Adamson (1-1531) or Dave Mulholland (7-3674) for access instructions. Club Elections for 2007 Nominations December Skyline Hunting & Fishing Club currently has over 500 members, an annual budget in excess of $30,000, and controls assets (including the various ranges and property) worth millions of dollars. It is one of the largest private ranges in the state, and the only private range of its kind that is in the immediate Denver metro area. With all that going for us, you would think members would be eager to contribute to the club by being a Board Member. Unfortunately, it seems more like the few members who are willing to serve as Board Members play musical chairs at election time. Our current President and Vice President have each served as President four or five times. Another Board member has been on the Board for the past twelve consecutive years. The Board members serve on the Board of YOUR club because they care about the club, the ranges, and the privileges we enjoy. If you care about the club, and want to influence the direction of the club and how your dues are spent, now is your opportunity to step forward! Volunteer to run for a Board position or to take over the Chairmanship of a committee. Nominations will be accepted at the November and December General membership meetings. Show that you care and volunteer to help run YOUR club!

The Bushmaster DCM Competition Rifle is the rifle selected for club sales by the Civilian Marksmanship Program! Bushmaster Firearms has designed a rifle for the serious DCM Competition shooter! In keeping with DCM Competition rules, this rifle looks like a stock AR-15 type rifle but includes accurizing modifications that will give you the winning edge right out of the box. This highly accurized rifle features: An A2 Rear Sight specially modified to accept interchangeable micro-aperture peeps. Its windage and elevation mechanisms feature 1/4 Minute Adjustments with each click of the windage knob or elevation dial. Precision machined micro-aperture inserts are available in.036" -.040" (standard, and most commonly selected by competition shooters). The Lower Receiver houses a finely honed Competition Trigger that is factory set for a DCM legal 3.5 lb. 1st Stage and a 1 lb. let off (2nd Stage) for 4.5 lb total. The forearm features stock style outer grips over a free floater tube that does not contact the barrel. The sling swivel is attached to the leading edge of the tube so as to avoid any possibility of barrel deflection. The butt stock has been improved for competition with the addition of a 3.25 lb. lead counterbalancing weight which can be trimmed by the competitor to achieve proper balance, and adds to the solid feel of this special competition model. Controlled Ejection Path - receiver shell ejection has been modified to drop them all in the same place - a convenience for the reloader - and you won't annoy your neighboring competitors!
