It s the focus of our small team at Saracen and we re really proud and passionate. We have travelled many thousands of miles on the humble bicycle and over the past 3 decades watched them develop, innovate and evolve. We ve seen trends and fashion come and go but one thing remains: that feeling of being on a bike. The freedom it gives, the relaxation, the adrenalin, the passion and the overall love of bikes. We have a fantastic range of bikes for all people. Bikes that will take you on journeys with friends, with family or your own personal journeys. We ve never been a brand to follow the herd and we ve spent the last year focusing on the bikes we want to ride. Keeping things simple. 5 WE ARE NOW FIVE YEARS INTO OUR JOURNEY OF RACING AND BUILDING FAST BIKES MYST SERIES MYST SERIES Wow! Who could have dreamed a small UK team would grow and compete at the highest level of DH racing and go into the 2015 season as the No.1 ranked UCI team in the world! A lot has changed in those years but the ethos is still the same for building a chassis that can to compete at the top level of DH racing and be available for the general public to buy. For 2016 the Myst Team chassis rises to another level through race results, testing and an engineering masterclass. Introducing the Myst Carbon Factory Race chassis which is at the pinnacle of DH race-bike design. Fast just got faster and will leave no excuses for not hitting the top step of the podium! The original World Cup and World Championship winning Myst Alloy/Carbon chassis is still available in a privateer race build that s ready for regional or World Cup level races

7 2016 MYST SERIES MARGINAL GAINS The links are a work of art and the natural UD carbon beauty is not just skin deep: We saved 110gms over the original CNC machined alloy linkages. UD CARBON LINKS FULL TORAY UD HIGH MODULUS CARBON FRAME 24/30 TON MIX Built from a mixture of Toray 24T/30T UD carbon with 3K reinforcement in strategic areas on the downtube we saved 560g on the existing alloy front triangle. We ve incorporated the ability to fine-tune the front-centre +/-5mm with our custom headtube and headsets. Following another stellar race season we also improved the brake hose routing on the UD carbon rear triangle which is now internally routed in the seatstays. 12 SHOCK CRADLE INTEGRATED INTO DOWNTUBE We relocated the shock cradle to the downtube to lower the centre-of-gravity and improve the stand-over. This was perhaps the hardest task as we needed to accommodate the next generation of air-shocks coming through with large volume air cans. INTEGRATED FORK BUMP STOPS These helped clean up the front end of the bike and also house the cable ports for the rear brake hose and rear derailleur cable.

The Myst Pro uses the very same chassis that our Madison/Saracen Factory race team has piloted for the last two seasons. Built as a killer privateer race bike it offers a recipe that just works. A Fox Van RC rear shock together with a Boxxer RC fork are easy to set up and get balanced. 10 speed Shimano drivetrain and powerful Zee brakes are solid performers that never miss a beat. It s finished with Kore Torsion bars, seatpost and rims, rolling on Maxxis High Roller II s with a Super Tacky compound. Our long travel 150mm Ariel platform is proving to be a versatile performer. Built from the ground up around 27.5 wheels it s equally at home on steeper, faster more technical trails as it is railing berms at your favourite trail centre. The Ariel chassis is a hand-built work of art utilizing a custom butted 6061 series alloy front triangle together with our Toray UD carbon rear triangle. It s stiff, light, durable, long and slack! Stable, neutral handling with bottomless feel TRL suspension helps you push harder and ride for longer. Both bikes run 160mm travel up front for 2016 and both feature 1 x drivetrains. Specs have been re-written from the ground up with a focus on out and out speed while the framekit option allows you to build your dream bike

12 ILI LYER KILI FLYER SERIES A BIKE FOR ALL TRAILS, A BIKE FOR ALL SEASONS A bike for all trails. A bike for all seasons. The Kili Flyer is our flagship trail bike running 130mm travel. We ve focused Kili Flyer to just one outstanding Limited Edition bike for 2016 in a quest to build the perfect UK trail bike. We ve refined the travel to 130mm further improving its descending ability without adding weight. The chassis is built using a mixture of Toray 24T/40T UD carbon and features our signature TRL (Tuned Ride Link) suspension platform; an oversize single main pivot for stiffness and a linkage to drive the shock. Efficient pedalling on the up and plush, bottomless feel on the descents are the key characteristics of TRL. The Kili Flyer is probably the most well-known name in the history of Saracen. This modern evolution lives up to the heritage and is a bike we feel proudly continues the Kili Flyer name. 23

Suspension at the front is handled by the new Fox drivetrain and braking. All cables are internally routed to keep it looking clean. Routing is provided for stealth dropper posts. ISCG 05 and Tapered headtube as standard. The dropouts are the same ones found on our Ariel and Kili Flyer frames to keep parts interchangeable. We wanted it to look like a mountain bike so mounted the rear disc brake on the seatstay and have run the rear hose cable internally from the headtube to the disc mount. It s not XC race. 21 TUFFTRAX SERIES TUFFTRAX IS OUR ENTRY INTO MOUNTAIN BIKES BUT THEY ARE MUCH MORE VERSATILE THAN THE MOUNTAIN BIKE TAG SUGGESTS. Tufftrax is our entry into mountain specs. Built light and strong and not featuring any gimmicky add-ons which detract from the riding experience. Custom, low-stand over frames with quality lightweight components are perfect to start any little-ones riding careers.
