1. INTRODUCTION The CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge is a gentleman drivers series for Historic Ferrari Challenge cars not eligible for the official factory Challenge series. Challenge cars must run in original stock factory configuration (with a few approved changes), and the rules of the series follow the original format for which the cars were designed. The series differs from the original factory series insofar as it strictly forbids car to car contact and values the preservation of these historic machines above pure competition. Although in no way affiliated or endorsed by Ferrari North America (FNA) and/or Ferrari S.p.A, the series is designed to complement and not compete with the current official factory series. The CCR FORZA Tifosi challenge provides an entry level platform for participants who wish to gain experience and then move on to the official Ferrari Challenge. CCR provides an exclusive venue for singe marque, historic Ferrari Challenge racing in a low pressure environment under rules that mitigate the costs and risks associated with on track car damage. The CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge series is an arrive and drive series where approved Support Teams prepare, transport, and support cars in 6 point scoring rounds (two races per round) at racetracks in North America. The 2017 CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge is organized by CCR, and is in no way affiliated with Ferrari North America, Ferrari S.p.A., 2. REGISTRATION, PROCEDURES & REQUIREMENTS A. The CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge is not appropriate for the driver who views the car as a consumable racing tool to modify or place at risk to gain a competitive edge. The series is not open to drivers who are currently paid professionals either as racing drivers or racing coaches. The series is for the gentleman driver whose main goal is the careful use and preservation of a historic competition Ferrari, which he or she owns, under rules that allow for a moderate level of competition, but mitigate the risk of car damage. The series reserves the right to approve or disapprove any particular driver as suitable for competition in CCR based on a range of factors such as, but not limited to, overall pace, on track aggressiveness, and his or her overall attitude being aligned with the intention and purpose of the series. B. All drivers participating in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge must hold a current CCR license. 1

C. Drivers must submit entry forms for the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge and pay the annual series fee and registration fees. All forms are available online from the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge website, D. Participants in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge must have cars prepared and supported by a CCR authorized Support Team or a Ferrari authorized dealer. Before entry into the series, the CCR authorized Support Team must file a Challenge Car Registration form to insure the car meets all safety and technical guidelines. Before entry into each event a car must have a tech form filled out and signed by an authorized Support Team and filed with the CCR Technical staff. E. Upon submission of an entry application for the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge, a participant agrees to comply with the contents of these regulations. This includes any communications referring to the actual race event that might be distributed to teams in the paddock. Further, the participant agrees that CCR is the sole competent jurisdiction, subject to the right of appeal set forth in the CCR Rules and these Regulations. The participant releases CCR, FORZA Magazine, CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge, the Organizers, the Promoter, the Sponsors, and the Race Officials from any liability for injury and damage suffered by himself or herself as participant, or by his or her drivers, passengers, employees and property. Participants acknowledge that despite the precautions taken in these rules, motor racing is an extremely dangerous sport and participants assume the risks associated with competition. Participants will be asked to sign additional waivers to this effect. 3. FEES A. An Annual Series Fee must be paid. The Annual Series Fee for the 2017 CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge is $450, subject to certain discounts if paid in advance. The Annual Series Fee includes CCR annual dues, all fees for the CCR racing license and a CCR Hard Card identification. CCR drivers are required to wear the official CCR drivers suit as supplied by OMP. A complete package of driver suit, shoes and gloves may be purchased through the series, for a discounted package price of $1,975. Drivers are permitted to wear OMP CCR official suits purchased in 2014 or later. Each car is required to display the official CCR decal package which is available through the series for $275. It is similar to the 2016 package. The series reserves the right to amend the decal package and each competitor will be required to purchase and display whatever updates are available. All forms needed to competition are linked on the registration page of the CCR website at 2

B. An Event Registration Fee must be paid before each event. The Event Fee for each round of the 2017 CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge is $1,750, subject to certain discounts if prior to the early entry deadline. This Event Fee will include track time over two days and all race entry fees for two races. This fee includes all track fees paid or charged by any other organization which may run in conjunction with the series unless there is some sort of special arrangements have been made prior and communicated to competitors. A thirty day cancellation period applies. Event Fees are fully refundable if a cancellation is made thirty days prior to an event. Any cancellation by a participant within this thirty day period is not refundable. Hospitality or social events at each round will be offered to each registered driver with additional hospitality tickets available for purchase. C. A Support Team Fee must be paid. There is a onetime $985 registration and application fee for each approved Support Team for each season. This Support Team Fee must be paid to CCR prior to any car affiliated with the Support Team taking to the track at a CCR event. 4. ELIGIBILITY OF VEHICLES A. The CCR Forza Tifosi Challenge is open to the Ferrari F458, F458 Evo, F430, F360, and F355/F348 Challenge models in accordance with specifications stated in these rules. The cars must be in complete stock original factory configuration, except for limited approved modifications. Each car must be prepared in accordance with the Technical Regulations. B. All cars must be registered by filing a Challenge Car Registration with the CCR Challenge Series Manager prior to participation in any Challenge activity. Cars are ineligible until the Challenge Car Registration is filed and accepted by the series management. C. All preparation, maintenance, and service of Ferrari Challenge cars must be provided for exclusively by authorized CCR Support Teams or Ferrari dealers in North America. D. For the 2017 season, there will be four separate championships F458, F430, F360, and F355 classes. F348 Challenge cars are eligible but will run in the F355 class. 3

5. SUPPORT TEAMS A. Participants in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge must have cars professionally prepared and supported by a CCR authorized Support Team or a Ferrari authorized dealer. CCR has a list of all authorized and active Support Teams available. Any prospective Support Teams may request inclusion on this list by downloading and completing the Support Team application. Support Team applications must be filed with the series management. B. Any Support Team retained for the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge must be either a Factory Authorized Ferrari dealer or a support team with experience with preparing, servicing and racing Ferrari Challenge cars. Each Support Team must be approved in advance by CCR before any participation in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge. Support Team Applications must be filed with the series management at least two weeks prior to the start of the season or the first event in which a Support Team plans to participate. The Support Team will be notified when the application has been approved. Approval is good only for the current season. Each Support Team must designate an authorized agent and principal who will act as Team Manager. C. Every Support Team is expected to fully understand the CCR Technical and Sporting Regulations and to understand and support the purpose and philosophy of the series. Each Support Team is responsible for ensuring a car meets the safety and technical specifications of the series. Support Teams are required to have knowledge of the technical specification and condition of the cars it supports. Each Support Team is obligated to file a preseason CCR Challenge Car Registration which will include a Disclosure of Modification on any car it supports in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge. Before entry into each event, the Support Team must certify that the car has passed a technical inspection and the car meets all safety and technical guidelines. It is the obligation of the Support Team to sign and file such technical compliance sheets and to receive and properly mark each car with a technical inspection decal obtained from the Chief Technical Steward. 6. IDENTIFICATION & MARKINGS A. Numbers will be assigned and provided by the CCR Series, giving priority to those participants from the 2016 CCR Championship who wishes to retain their same number. Requested numbers will be assigned if available on a first-received first-assigned basis. Assignments will be valid for the 2017 season. The CCR 430 Challenge Champion from 2016 shall be entitled to use 4

the number 1 if he or she so chooses; that number will not otherwise be assigned to a competitor. B. All Ferrari Challenge cars must carry advertising for the series sponsors, which will be provided for purchase by CCR. These stickers or decals must be applied as provided, in the exact locations shown on the attached diagrams. Competitors shall be responsible for immediately replacing any damaged advertising. C. All technical inspection forms must be presented to the series management at the beginning of each race event. All cars must display all sponsor decals properly attached and must not show any significant body damage. Cars that do not comply with this paragraph may be rejected and thus are excluded from participation until properly prepared. D. Any rights relating to the name, trade mark and image of CCR, CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge and events of CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge belong to CCR who shall be able to use them at their own discretion, in compliance with the applicable laws. E. Production and/or transmission rights are the sole property of CCR, who shall use them at their own discretion, in compliance with the applicable laws without any time and/or territory limit, e.g. (1) radio-television, (2) via internet, (3) general wireless rights and relative technologies (also where they are not currently acknowledged), (4) home video rights; and (5) any right of use and/or exploitation of still and motion images of the competitions and events of the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge, by any means and distance spreading/diffusion (current or future), using any technical earth or space means of transmission and reception (current or future). F. Promotional-advertising exploitation rights relating to the name, the trademarks and the image of CCR, the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge and the events of the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge are the sole property of CCR who shall be able to use them at their own discretion, in compliance with the applicable laws without any time and/or territory limit. G. Teams and drivers therefore acknowledge and accept that CCR and CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge reserve the right of (1) using all images, photographic and video, of all drivers and cars during series activities, both in the United States and abroad, even for commercial, promotional and/or advertising reasons, without notice and/or compensation or payment, the names, the images (both motion and still) and the results (classifications) of the drivers competing in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge, as well as (2) authorizing its own official sponsors as well as those of the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge to use 5

names and images relative to the drivers competing in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge for similar purposes and activities. H. CCR and CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge reserve the right of using the names, images, results of the drivers competing in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge, as well as images of the vehicle as it appeared in any Challenge event, the driver s suit, and the relevant means of support/equipment, together with sponsors name/logo (both official of the CCR and CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge and personally related to the driver), for any economical and commercial exploitation (including, as mere title, the make of electronic games and model cars) and promotional-advertising title. I. Any authorization for the use by third parties of the images of cars participating in the series may only be given in accordance with the rules contained in this section. J. The majority of the doors and hood will be reserved for participants to carry other advertising for individual support to the individual competitor. CCR and the FORZA Tifosi Challenge will provide competitors with a sponsorship brochure to promote this individual sponsorship. Participants are free to contract with sponsors for these areas provided that such advertising does not intrude on the series-required advertising, and that the participant advertises no product or service which competes, directly or indirectly, with either the organizers or the sponsors of the series. The determination as to competing sponsors will be solely determined by CCR. Advance approval from the Challenge Manager, Joe Foster, joe@challengeclubracing.com, is recommended. 7. OFFICIALS A. Conduct of each CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge event will be under the control of the CCR Race Director, the Challenge Manager, and the Chief Technical Steward. Officials may assess penalties as required under these rules, if appropriate. The Race Director is the senior official for all on-track activities. The Race Director s decisions are not subject to appeal except as noted in the CCR Rule Book. The Race Director may, but need not, consider videotape from a driver s personal on-board camera in making his decisions. Furthermore, the Race Director has the discretion to consider reports from individual nonofficial observers. All car and team technical compliance will fall under the jurisdiction of the Chief Technical Steward. 6

B. CCR will appoint an Official Scorer who is responsible for timing and scoring the event. Results posted by the Official Scorer are provisional until approved by the Race Director. A competitor may request that the Race Director have the timing and scoring and results rechecked by the Official Scorer. Such recheck will be final., 8. VIDEO CAMERAS A. CCR may require the installation of a specific video camera system in each Challenge car. This system installation will be directed by CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge and CCR. The location and operation of this camera may be mandated by CCR, and can be used by CCR officials. The camera and storage media should not be erased or discarded except after request to a CCR official. The participant grants all rights of use of the video to the CCR and CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge as needed for review of on-track activity and for promotion of the series. At the request of CCR and CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge, the participant agrees to provide a copy of the video without cost. 9. DRIVER SAFETY EQUIPMENT A. Each driver must wear the following mandatory safety equipment during all on-track activities. All safety equipment must be within the approved date range of manufacture. B. Helmets must be worn that are recognized high quality, approved by the Snell Foundation, with an SA2010 (or later) sticker; full face helmets are strongly recommended. C. A HANS (Head and Neck Support) device must be worn that meets FIA or FIA and/or SFI 38.1 ratings and must be within the industry standard 5 year cycle for recertification. FIA Homologated Tethers are also required that meet FIA D. CCR Drivers are required to wear a nomex driver s suit meeting FIA or SFI 3.2A. Additionally, balaclava, long underwear (top and bottom), socks, gloves and shoes meeting FIA or SFI 3.3 or later are required. E. All driver s safety apparel must be made available for CCR inspection at the time of vehicle safety inspection. F. All safety systems on the car must be serviced, in working order, and may not be expired, in full compliance with the technical regulations. 7

10. TIRES & SET UP A. The CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge is a Pirelli spec tire series. All track activities must occur on Pirelli tires as inventoried, supplied and accounted for by the officially designated Pirelli Tire distributor for CCR. The marketing relationship between Pirelli and CCR includes an entry fee subsidy for each competitor. Tires of the correct technical specification that are inventoried, supplied and accounted for by the officially designed Pirelli Tire distributor for CCR are required in CCR competition. Any car desiring to participate on tires not inventoried, supplied and accounted for in the above mentioned fashion is subject to the loss of this entry fee subsidy. B. CCR strongly recommends participants purchase a set of rain tires. In the event of a wet race (as declared by the Race Director), these tires must be mounted. The responsibility for not having Pirelli rain tires available when a rain race is declared by the Race Director lies solely with the Support Team and not CCR or the tire supplier. C. The use of tire warmers or any other means of artificially varying the temperature of a tire is prohibited, as is any modification of the tire and by chemical modification, or any similar method. D. All competitors must use the same tire type (i.e. slick or rain) in all races and qualifying sessions. The Race Director shall determine the required tire type prior to the start of the race or qualifying session. Should conditions change during the race or qualifying session, the Race Director will order the cars into the pits and all competitors will be required to change to the appropriate tire. Tire selection for practice sessions is free. E. Camber may be adjusted by adding or removing the original Ferrari shims between the suspension and the chassis. F. It is possible to adjust the anti-roll bar endlink position between one of the two factory placed holes. G. It is permissible to detach or remove ONLY the rear anti roll bar only when the car is driven with WET tires. With slicks it must be attached to one of the two fixing points. H. Pirelli may mandate specific usage parameters for its tires in terms of camber and pressure in order to ensure the safety of CCR competitors. Pirelli and CCR retain the right to measure tire pressure and camber at any time on any car and may penalize, at series discretion, Support Teams or cars who utilize the tire outside these mandated usage parameters. 8

I. All cars will have one set of tires marked by CCR Officials prior to the first qualifying session and must start the first race on at least three of those marked tires. If two or more marked tires are missing then that car must start from the back of the field. Marked tires are not required for the second race of the weekend. 11. INSURANCE A. The CCR Forza Tifosi Challenge Committee strongly recommends that each participant (drivers, crew and officials) in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge consider the purchase of appropriate insurance to cover situations which may arise in racing. In addition to personal and medical coverage, drivers should consider the purchase of on-track collision damage insurance, covering Challenge cars during competitive portions of the events. Even though rules are written to limit damage, the risk exists and drivers are encouraged to consider the financial implications of such coverage. CCR has worked with specialized insurers to explain CCR s track record and rules that prohibit contact and these insurers provide special rates for this coverage to CCR members. CCR strongly recommends such coverage to all drivers. Competitors may use any company, broker, or agent offering such coverage, however special policies and rates are offered to CCR members through sponsor, Morgan Duffy, HWI Motorsports, Hayden Wood Insurance Agency Inc, 30 Turnpike Road Suite 5, Southborough MA 01772, , Morgan@haydenwood.com. 12. DRIVER COACHES A. CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge may, at its sole discretion, appoint a Series Driver Coach for the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge. Drivers who are new to racing or new to the Ferrari Challenge are strongly advised to consider retaining their own driver coaches as well. Dealer teams and/or individual drivers may retain their own driver coaches subject to the following rules: B. Any driver coach retained for the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge must be an experienced coach or driver, with demonstrated credentials. Each coach must be approved in advance by CCR before any participation in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge. An application form for this purpose can be downloaded from the and ed to the Challenge Manager (joe@challengeclubracing.com) at least two weeks prior to the start of the 9

season or the first event in which a driver coach plans to participate. A driver coach will be notified when the application has been approved. Approval is good only for the current season. C. A driver coach must hold a current CCR license. D. Every driver coach is expected to fully understand the CCR Sporting Regulations, and to understand and support the purpose and philosophy of the series. A coach is expected to demonstrate gentlemanly or lady-like behavior at all times, and to work with drivers to ensure their conformity with the regulations and purpose of the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge. E. Driver coaches must attend every scheduled Coaches Meeting at each event, and are required to be present at the start of the meeting. Failure to attend a scheduled Coaches Meeting at an event may result in the revocation of approval. Driver coaches are also required to attend all Drivers Meetings. F. Prospective coaches may request inclusion on this list by downloading and completing the form as described above. G. All driver coaches must register at each event and sign in with the Challenge Manager. Driver coaches will receive credentials and identification (typically a special wristband) which will permit them to be in a Challenge car. H. Coaches will only be permitted in cars which have the appropriate roll cage, second seat, and restraints installed and approved by CCR Technical staff. These cars may carry special identification or markings, or cars without this approval may be marked. These markings will be at CCR s sole discretion. These markings may not be tampered with under any circumstances; doing so may result in the car, driver and crew chief being removed from the event. I. During all practice sessions leading up to the first qualifying session, a driver coach may ride and/or drive a car. The coach must wear all of the required driver safety equipment that meets the same standards as the entered driver. If a coach is driving a car when it is officially timed, a coach must notify the CCR officials, and timing and scoring. Failure to do so may lead to a reduction in track time in future sessions for that car. No coach is authorized to drive a competitor s Challenge car alone unless a plausible reason is given to the Race Director, who will then authorize such activity on a case by case scenario. The Race Director in such case will authorize the number of laps a coach may drive. 10

13. RADIOS A. It is required that each car participating be equipped with radio communications equipment permitting the driver and team to be in contact at all times when the car is on track. In such cases, it is the team s responsibility to monitor the Race Control radio frequency, and to immediately advise their driver(s) of any instructions from the Race Director or other official. This regulation in no way replaces or overrides the requirement that every driver obey all flag signals. A team s failure to hear radioed instructions may not be the basis for any objection or protest. 14. SCHEDULE A. CCR will post an official schedule for each event. Included will be times for registration, technical inspection, drivers meetings, practice, qualifying, and racing. It is the competitor s responsibility to be prepared to participate in the correct session at the time specified in the official event schedule. CCR reserves the right to alter or adjust the schedule to address any unforeseen issues but will make every reasonable effort to keep all drivers and teams informed of any such changes. 15. DRIVERS MEETINGS A. Drivers Meetings will be held at the time and place specified in the official schedule. Official information may be given to all competitors, either verbally or in writing, at official Drivers Meetings. B. All drivers entered in a Challenge event, the Team Manager for each race team, and any private Driver Coaches are required to attend each Drivers Meeting. Any driver who does not attend a Drivers Meeting, as proven by the driver s signature on an official sign-in sheet, may be penalized by having the length of his or her qualifying session shortened by ten (10) minutes for a first offense, or by moving the driver to the rear of the starting grid for subsequent offenses. C. The Team Manager for each Support Team is responsible for acquiring all official posted communications, for informing all drivers and team members of such communications, and for ensuring that any actions required by the communication are taken by the team. 11

16. PADDOCK ARRANGEMENTS A. Each team will be provided with a clearly defined area in the paddock by CCR officials and/or the event organizers. This space will contain the facilities of CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge, CCR, the individual teams, challenge cars, and support equipment. These spaces will be assigned by CCR officials. Each driver will be responsible for keeping his or her own space in order, and for the behavior of any person directly or indirectly connected with the driver s participation in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge. A complete list of equipment with measurements must be supplied to the Series Manager two weeks prior to each event. B. All Support Team trucks and support vehicles must be maintained in clean and appropriate condition at all times. 17. PIT ARRANGEMENTS A. There will be a Pit Speed Limit of 36 MPH in effect at all times during an event. The Pit Speed Limit will be in effect between a marked In Line (normally with a pylon) and a marked Out Line (normally with a pylon). B. Each competitor will be responsible for keeping his or her own pit area in order. C. Any person admitted to the pit area must have the appropriate credential, which must always be clearly visible. D. Only essential staff will be permitted in the pit lane during the event, and only two people for each Challenge car will be permitted access to the pit wall during the time the car is on track, and only if conditions permit in the sole opinion of the Race Director. CCR may require specific passes for each event. E. Support personnel (mechanics, technicians and similar) must be dressed in a rational and safe manner. Open-toed shoes or sandals are not permitted in the pit lane at any time. Long sleeved shirts are strongly recommended. F. All portable equipment must remain inside the pit area assigned to the team, or must be returned to that area after the car has been serviced and has left the pit area. G. Uniforms All crew members must wear clean uniforms, at all times during practice, qualifying and races. Tank tops, short pants and other inappropriate attire will not be permitted in the hot pit area. Custom CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge Team apparel is available from CCR. 12

H. When fueling in the paddock area, an industry standard, multi layer nomex suit, balaclava and goggles must be worn and there must be a manned fire extinguisher present. Fueling cars inside permanent garage buildings. 18. GRID & STARTING PROCEDURES A. The starting grid for the first race will be based on times from the official qualifying session. If there is not a specific qualifying session for the second race, then the starting grid for the second race will be decided by the fastest race lap from the first race. Cars will be gridded strictly by qualifying time, not by class. B. A competitor may request the Race Director to admit a car which has not completed any practice laps to the first race, provided this does not eliminate another car which has already qualified. Any car thus admitted will start from the last place on the starting grid. C. A competitor may ask the Race Director to admit a car to the second race which has not started in the first race. Any car thus admitted to the start of the second race will occupy the last place on the grid. D. Where two races are held during an event, each race will be designed to be approximately 35 minutes in duration. The race length may be specified in either distance (miles) or time; this decision will be listed in the official schedule, and will be announced at the official Drivers Meeting. E. All race will use a rolling start normally after one pace lap although additional pace laps may be mandated due to conditions. The pace car will lead the field at a spirited pace on the outlap to allow reasonable tire and brake warming. When the lights go out on the pace car, the field is required to form a two by two grid and all tire warming, swerving and brake warming must cease. As the pace car approaches the start line it will, at its own timing and discretion, pull into the pit lane. THE POLE SITTER MUST MAINTAIN THE SPEED THAT THE PACE CAR SET UNTIL THE GREEN FLAG WAVES. At the waving of the green flag, the race begins and each row may accelerate. Any unnecessary weaving, pulling out of line, early acceleration, blocking, slowing, brake checking or surging by any competitor is strictly forbidden may be penalized either by drive through or time penalties. Passing IS allowed at the waving of the green flag even if a particular car on a particular row has not yet passed the start finish line. Should the green flag not be waved for any reason, a False Start is declared, double yellow flags displayed at each corner, and the 13

Pace Car will be immediately be dispatched to reform the grid to perform another pace lap. The race clock will start at the first pass by the start/finish line regardless of whether the start is Green or Yellow. 19. FLAG SIGNALS The following signals are used both to advise Drivers of various conditions and to direct Drivers to obey various specific instructions. Cloth flags are normally used but may be replaced with similarly coded rigid signaling boards or with lights. Steady light is equivalent to a motionless flag; flashing light to a waved flag. A. GREEN FLAG Start or restart of race or other session, or cancellation of a danger previously signaled. Track is clear. (The national flag of the host country may be used as a substitute at the beginning of a race.) Overtaking may commence on a start or restart at the time the green flag is displayed by the starter. B. BLUE FLAG (At certain circuits the blue flag may incorporate a yellow diagonal stripe). A motionless blue flag means another competitor is following you and may be trying to pass you. A stationary blue flag is an information flag, not a command flag. Waved blue flag: A command flag, please use your mirrors and let the faster car behind you past. Blue flags are normally used where the Driver being overtaken may be unaware of the following car or is clearly obstructing another car. C. YELLOW FLAG A motionless or standing yellow flag means there is potential danger ahead although off the racing line, no passing is allowed, slow down. A standing yellow flag is generally used to advise of an obvious danger or to forewarn of a more serious danger at a following corner. A waved yellow flag means danger ahead or obstacle on the racing line, no passing, slow down, be prepared to take avoiding action. A waving yellow flag may mean imminent and serious danger such as a partial track blockage, fire on or near the track, or a crowd control hazard. A following green flag will be waved at the first flag station past the point of the incident signifying that the track is clear and overtaking may resume. Overtaking may NOT resume until passing a line that would be perpendicular to the corner worker station displaying the following green flag. 14

A double motionless or double standing yellow flag means Safety Car or Full Course Caution. SC boards may also be displayed at the start line and other stations to indicate a Full Course Caution. A driver may also see a waving yellow flag when passing through the incident area during a Full Course Caution. The prohibition on overtaking under a Full Course Caution starts at the point on the track perpendicular to the point of the first displayed yellow flag and overtaking may resume at the point on the track perpendicular to the first displayed green flag. However, any time a yellow flag is displayed at any point on the circuit it is the responsibility of the competitor to use additional caution. Failure to use such caution may be penalized regardless of position relative to the flag. In races where the CCR Yellow Condition System is in use, for a full course yellow or Safety Car period, the track condition is considered yellow at all points on the track simultaneously at the moment when either: the radio call is made from Race Control, or the Yellow Condition System lights are illuminated, or the yellow flags are displayed around the track, whichever may be first. At the completion of the full course yellow or Safety Car period, the procedure for re-starts is initiated and the lights are extinguished at the same time as those of the Safety Car. All restarts are single file with passing allowed at the green flag. The race leader is required to maintain the speed of the pace car at least until the Restart Acceleration Point (described in the Drivers Meeting) or later. Any unnecessary weaving, pulling out of line, early acceleration, blocking, slowing, brake checking or surging by any competitor is strictly forbidden and will result in penalties being applied at the discretion of CCR. D. WHITE FLAG CCR displays a white flag to indicate the last lap. However, depending on the Event, the starter may indicate the last lap by displaying one finger and/ or the last lap may be announced over the radio. A stationary white flag displayed anywhere on the circuit denotes an ambulance, fire truck, wrecker or other service vehicle is on the circuit, or a slow-moving race car is ahead. E. YELLOW FLAG WITH VERTICAL RED STRIPES Slippery surface and/or debris on course. Passing is still allowed under a Debris Flag. F. BLACK FLAG A waved black flag indicates a mandatory stop in the pits for a consultation next lap. This flag is usually displayed along with the number of the car concerned for an infraction. If a competitor fails to obey the black flag within four laps of its display, the Race Director may instruct the Timekeeper to stop timing and scoring the car. 15

G. BLACK FLAG WITH ORANGE DISK Indicates a car with a mechanical fault. Stop at your pit on the next lap. H. RED FLAG This flag is used exclusively at the discretion of the Race Director to stop practice, qualifying or the race and is displayed by the Starter and all corner stations. When the red flag is shown, Drivers must decelerate to a slow speed and be prepared to stop at any time. Drivers should use caution and be aware that rescue vehicles may be using the track; the track may be blocked; or weather conditions may have made the circuit un-drivable at racing speeds. No passing. Unless otherwise directed by the Race Director or marshals, cars must proceed in a line, slowly and carefully around the circuit to the pit entrance where they will be directed further. The pit exit is closed. I. BLACK AND WHITE CHECKERED FLAG End of a session or end of a race. Return to the pits at reduced speed and stop at the pits or proceed to Parc Fermé as designated by the Race Director. Safe passing is allowed on the In Lap to the pits. The pit exit is closed. J. BLACK AND WHITE FLAG DIVIDED DIAGONALLY This flag is shown as a warning to the Driver concerned for unsportsmanlike behavior. This signal is the same as a furled black flag. This flag is displayed at the discretion of CCR officials who are also NOT required to display it prior to a black flag or penalty during a race event. 20. PARC FERMÉ A. At the conclusion of all races, all drivers must drive their cars directly to the Parc Fermé, without stopping for any other purpose, except for the first three finishers in each class who may be directed to remain at the podium for a short time for trophy presentation. Those cars will then be driven directly to the Parc Fermé. Any cars which are late in reaching the Parc Fermé will be classified as non-finishers in that race s results. Cars must remain in the Parc Fermé for 30 minutes after the results for the race are published, or until directed to leave by CCR officials. Cars may be retained beyond the normal time for possible inspections. The Parc Fermé is closed for the duration of the inspection and crews, drivers or otherwise unrelated individuals are prohibited from entering the area. Once the driver has exited the vehicle there will be no contact with the car unless directed by CCR officials, inclusive of any computer plugging in or downloading. 16

B. Cars may be weighed in the Parc Fermé at the organizers sole discretion. Weighing will be in accordance with the 2017 Technical Regulations. C. At the conclusion of all timed qualifying sessions, the top 3 qualifiers in each class as well as any other car designated by CCR Officials are required to proceed directly to the technical inspection area for weighing and/or other inspections. Should any of these cars entered the paddock area but not proceed directly to the technical inspection area then their time for the session will be disallowed and they will be placed at the back of the grid. A car leaving the pit lane during qualifying will be considered finished with the session and may not return. 21. PASSING RESPONSIBILITY A. In the Race, one line change or lateral is allowed when appropriate to defend position, however, multiple line changes, weaving and other forms of deliberate blocking are not allowed and shall result in black flag and possible exclusion from the race. B. The responsibility to pass safely lies primarily with the overtaking driver, however it is always the responsibility of both drivers to leave racing room for the other driver; in the beginning, middle and exit of the corner where the pass may occur or be attempted. C. The driver of the car in the lead has an obligation to remain as aware as possible of passing vehicles and conduct himself in a safe and sportsman like manner. All things being equal, it is the responsibility of the lead driver to maintain his line. D. If a defensive line is used, it must be established well in advance of the approaching car. E. On a straightaway, the overtaken driver shall remain aware of all passing vehicles and shall not attempt to block or impede the progress of passing car(s). USE YOUR MIRRORS. I didn t see him will not be a viable explanation for any sort of contact, blocking, swerving or otherwise erratic behavior. F. If a car establishes position (equal side by side) with another car before the turn in point, then the cars share the corner. They coexist and give racing room to each other. G. If a car establishes a partial side position (less than nose to nose) with another car before the turn in point, then the lead driver will leave enough 17

room for the other car to safely get through the corner. Again, it is the responsibility of both drivers to leave racing room for the other. H. Most corners and most situations allow for coexistence when the overtaking car has established reasonable, but not complete, position. However, the overtaking driver is responsible to know which corners and which situations are reasonable for coexistence and which are not. The overtaking driver must be cautious and understand the potential risk of the driver in the lead not seeing him. I. Coming into a turn the overtaking driver must realize if he does not have any part of his car alongside the lead car and he cannot complete a safe pass he needs to be ready to back out if necessary to avoid contact. USE YOUR MIRRORS. J. If a slower car is being lapped or passed by faster traffic, it is courteous for the driver in the slower car to point the faster cars by and stay on the race line and give racing room in the corners. The overtaking driver must be cautious and understand the potential risk of the slower driver not seeing him or misjudging the speed differential. K. Passing under a yellow flag requires a black flag for the offending driver, and the penalties, in the sole judgment of the Chief Steward, may be a time/ distance penalty or exclusion from the race. 22. PENALTIES IN GENERAL A. CCR is not a purely competitive series, and its rules will be strictly enforced to protect drivers who wish to race with a low risk of contact. CCR is a no contact series where the experience of exhibition style vintage racing is preferred over pure competition. Penalties will be liberally given in three instances: 1) car to car contact, 2) single car contact, and 3) aggressive or erratic driving. Penalties will be liberally given to discourage contact and to carry out the spirit of the series, which is for competitors to give each other racing room, and to drive within a performance envelope which does not lead to contact or a complete loss of car control. CCR acknowledges that a competitor who gives another racer room risks being taken advantage of by a more aggressive driver. Such aggressive driving will carry penalties regardless of whether contact occurs. B. The Race Director will assess penalties based on the competitor s on or offtrack actions in violation of these rules. 18

C. Penalties will normally be applied by the Race Director for specific violations. The Race Director may increase or decrease these penalties depending on the severity of the violation. 23. THE 13/13 NO CONTACT RULE A. Conduct that is inappropriate to the intent and spirit of the CCR Series, and/or jeopardizes safety or results in dangerous or damaging situations will not be tolerated. In addition to the normal discretion of CCR to deal with inappropriate and unsafe conduct during all race sessions, the 13/13 rule will be in effect at all CCR events and will be imposed for such conduct. Under this rule, any incident which results in car damage will cause the offending driver to receive a 13/13 penalty. B. Drivers involved in an incident shall immediately exit the track during the session (or following the session if a race was in progress) and report to the Black Flag Station and then to the 13/13 impound area, as directed. Drivers will then report to CCR Officials as directed and shall not be allowed on the track until being cleared. C. CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge will collect and review all information relating to the incident, including corner worker and other observer reports, driver statements, and damage and incident reports from CCR. In the case of an incident involving more than one car, the CCR Race Director will make a determination of fault. D. If the damage is car to car contact, the overtaking driver has a rebuttable presumption of being at fault in any situation where contact occurs in a passing maneuver. E. Any driver who is found to be at fault in an incident involving more than his or her car may be excluded from competition for the remainder of the event at which the incident occurs. F. Any driver who is found to be at fault in an incident involving more than his or her car will be placed on probation for a thirteen (13) month period. If during this probation period the driver is involved in another at fault incident, his competition privileges will be suspended for thirteen (13) months. Suspended drivers must petition for reinstatement to the CCR Board. Reentry into the program will be at the discretion of the CCR Board and the driver may be required to return on probation. G. If a 13/13 penalty is given for conduct in a race, the offending driver forfeits all points for the given race. The zero points for the penalized race must be 19

calculated in a driver s points calculation and may not act as a dropped race. H. Any competitor, after having been in an incident, who fails to immediately exit the track following a session and report to the Black Flag Station, or leaves the event without talking to CCR Officials, shall be presumed to be at fault. I. Any driver who has received a 13/13 penalty must attend the Orientation Meeting at the next race in which they compete. J. Any competitor who has been determined to be at fault and has received a 13/13 penalty may request a review of the determination by written (or ) request to the CCR Board within thirty (30) days of the determination. Said request shall provide all documentation and/or justification as to why the determination should be reviewed. 24. YELLOW CARDS A. A Yellow Card will be given to any driver who drives aggressively or recklessly. A Yellow Card will be appropriate when no contact occurs with another competitor as a warning and indicates that a competitor will be closely watched by race stewards. A yellow sticker will be displayed on the bottom left of a driver s windshield indicating the Yellow Card status for the remainder of the event. Any driver who receives a Yellow Card must report to a conference with the Race Director following the receipt of the Yellow Card and at the end of the event. If a second Yellow Card is given to a competitor, a 13/13 penalty will also be given. 25. LOSS OF CONTROL A. Loss of control by a driver who drives beyond the limits of the car or the driver s ability poses a risk to other drivers. Any driver who experiences a significant loss of control, and/or leaves the track with four wheels off the racing surface must report to the Chief Steward and may be given a black flag and may be given a Yellow Card. 26. SUPPORT TEAMS PENALTY A. Any Support Team that files a false Challenge Car Registration, a false Disclosure of Modifications, or false technical inspection report subjects that Support Team and driver to penalties including a disqualification and exclusion 20

from one event, an exclusion for more than one event, or a permanent ban from the series. A Support Team that is disqualified or banned for a car at issue is also disqualified or banned from supporting any other cars in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge. 27. TROPHY PRESENTATION A. Drivers of each class who finish in the first three positions in each race at each event will receive trophies. Those drivers will proceed to the podium as directed, without delay, to participate in the trophy presentation. The time and place of trophy presentations will be stated at the Drivers Meeting, but will normally be held at the conclusion of a race. B. Where practical, drivers to whom trophies will be awarded will be directed to drive their cars to the podium area, where their cars will be displayed during the presentations. Drivers must remain in the official racing suit during podium ceremonies. C. The organizers may present additional trophies and awards at their sole discretion. These awards may or may not be announced in advance. D. Trophies and awards may not be available for drivers who do not attend the trophy presentation. E. In the spirit of the nature of racing, it is expected that drivers will remain at the podium until ALL podium ceremonies are finished. F. All drivers, Support Teams, and staff are expected to audience the ceremony in support of the awarded drivers. 28. AWARDING OF POINTS A. In order to score any points, a driver must take the green flag and complete at least 50% of the distance that is covered by the eventual winner in his or her class. B. Points will be awarded on the basis of the finishing order for each class in each race completed on any race event weekend. C. The 2017 CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge will consist of six point scoring rounds (12 races). Drivers compete in four classes (458, 430, 360,355/348) for points in the CCR FORZA Tifosi Challenge. There are no drop races. Each event count towards a drivers season points total. 21
