Track Specifications 330 metres in length 4 corners Rubble base with sand/clay surface 8 metres minimum width Maximum 20 Karts to start a race Racing in either direction Racing Format Friday Practice Heat 1 (8 laps) Saturday Heat 2 (8 Laps) Heat 3 (8 Laps) Sunday Heat 4 (8 Laps) Rookies demonstration Final (12 Laps) Time permitting No Midgets at this event Points System 20 points system to be used. 3 Transponders Transponders will be used at this title event It is the driver s responsibility to ensure transponders are fitted to their kart/s, No Transponder NO points Entry Fee Senior $95 Additional class/s $45 Junior $55 Rookies $10 Rookies nominations can be made via Julie Falland or e:falland@riverland.net.au Rookie nominations close 29th September 2014 and can be paid on the day Class Requirements A minimum of 8 genuine nominations will constitute a class (as per rule 5 of Appendix A of the current rule book). 4 Nominations Entries Open: Saturday 19 th July 2014 Nominations will close on the 27th of August 2014 (No exceptions) Nomination method: Online nominations are the only method for nominating: AIDKA web site: FULL PAYMENTS MUST ACCOMPANY NOMINATION. PAYMENT METHODS: Pay Pal- Credit/Debit Card ONLY Eligibility of Competitors As per rule 1 appendix A The following nominations will not be accepted: Phone, , Mail, Late, Probationary drivers or Non-qualified drivers. Drivers who have not competed in the nominated class in a title last year will be required to provide a copy of their log book via to aidka@bigpond.com or post to 68 Trotts Road, McLaren Flat SA This must be received before nominations will be accepted. Self-Scrutineering One form per kart Self-scrutineering Forms available on AIDKA website (under forms/documents) and must be filled in prior to handing into the scrutineer s. If your kart has a manufactures chassis number, this can be entered into the scrutineering form, otherwise a chassis seal, available on Friday can be fitted and recorded onto the form. This seal can be left on the chassis for future events. The engine seals must be fitted to the engines prior to entering the scrutineer form collection area so that the seals can checked and seal numbers verified by an AIDKA official.

6 Track Facilities Canteen Loxton Kart clubs canteen will be open on each days racing from 7.30am until late. Canteen will be serving hot /cold food and drinks. Bacon and egg breakfast available on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Liquor The bar will be open from 2pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Under no circumstances will BYO be allowed on the Loxton Kart Club premises. Pit Area Only licenced competitors, pit crew, officials and casual pit pass applicants, who are wearing arm bands, will be allowed into the pit area. Casual Pit Pass Non AIDKA licenced personnel wishing to enter the pit area may do so through purchase of a casual pit pass and arm band. Casual pit passes and arm bands will be available from the canteen for $5each per day. Release & Waiver Form The Release & Waiver form must be signed by all persons entering the pit area and/or competing in the event. Car Parking NO cars will be allowed in the pit area at any time. Cars will be asked to be parked down the bottom northeast section of the facility. Camping Camping will be allowed on the Loxton Kart Club premises. Please register your intentions for camping on your nomination form. Pit Allocation Pitting sites will be allocated on a first in best dressed basis. Pitting from a trailer will be allowed, in a designated area, but there are limited places. Foot Wear Fully enclosed footwear is to be worn at all times in the pit area.

7 Alcohol and Smoking Under no circumstances will alcohol, smoking or drugs be permitted in the pit or track area be allowed. Racing numbers All numbers are to be clear and visible prior to a race. State plates (SA have priority)and National plates will be permitted at this event. Confirmation of your chosen number will be advertised on the AIDKA web site once nominations close. Host club drivers will be given priority of racing numbers. In the event of two or more drivers requesting the same number, secondary nominating drivers will be allocated another number. Gate Fee A gate fee of $2.00 per day will apply. Under 12 s free.
