PIT ENTRY FEE; ELIGIBILITY; ENGINE STARTS; Drivers who have entered will be permitted entry to the pits for free plus two crew members free also. Non NASR $50.00 per night Drivers must be holders of a current NASR racing licence and have a current Formula 500 s Australia Rule/Log Book and produce on demand. All drivers when in car must have on race suit & helmet for engine starts. 1

2 LAP SCORING NUMBER PLEASE ENSURE YOUR LAP SCORING NUMBER IS AS PER RULE BOOK, Number must be clearly visible & easily read. Lap scoring number to be positioned on the upper rear most corner of the aerofoil on the inside of the left hand panel, white number on solid black background. (no State initials, no fancy numbers) CONTROL; TOW MONEY; HEAT POINTS; Conducted under the rules & regulations of the Formula 500 s Australia Assoc. Inc. and these supplementary regulations as listed. Nil As per the F500 s Australian rule book. FINAL; Top point scorers in the heats to 16 th place go directly to the final. The highest point scorer in the heats shall be allocated to the pole, plus 4 cars that transfer from the B main, go to the last 4 positions in Final. Position on the grid in the finals, in the event of tied points a ballot will be held to be done by officials. If 16 th position is tied, all those on that number of points will go into the final. If current Australia 1 does not qualify he/she may start at the rear of the Australian Final (as per rule book). B Main C Main Maximum of 16 cars. Plus the 4 cars that transfer from the C Main Maximum of 20 cars. 4 cars to transfer to B Main. LAPS FINAL; HEATS; B & C Main; 25 Laps 12 Laps 15 Laps TRANSPONDERS and RACECEIVERS Electronic timing (transponders) and raceceivers will be used and all cars must have them fitted in order to race. Drivers are responsible for providing their own raceceiver and ear piece. ALL DRIVERS ARE TO HAVE THEIR OWN RACECEIVER. Transponders used will be AMB TranX 260 transponders. Drivers who hire transponders will be responsible for lost or damaged transponders or any transponder not returned. Transponders are available for hire $20.00 for the weekend including practice. Drivers who own their own transponder are responsible for ensuring they are charged prior to the race meeting. Any car not having a working transponder will not be lap scored. Transponders are to be mounted to cars in accordance with rule 22 (Formula 500 Specifications). Any car crossing the start finish line under the pole line may not be lap scored. The transponder loop will be considered to be the start finish line. GRID POSITIONS; When heats have starters missing after the commencement of the meeting, the grid will not be amended but drivers move forward & take its place, once on the track. ENGINES; The first five place getters must present their cars for impounding immediately at completion of final. Engine measuring will be done on the first three place getters. NB: ASSISTANCE FOR REPAIRS WILL BE AVAILABLE ON REQUEST 2

SCRUTINEERING AND PRACTICE FRIDAY 2 ND APRIL 2010 Sign in at 1.00pm Scrutineering commences at 1.15pm 5.00pm Practice commences at 5.30pm 8.00pm Drivers briefing 5.15pm FORMAT and TIMINGS Saturday 3 rd April & Sunday 4 th April 2009 Scrutineering: 3.00pm till 6.00pm DRIVERS MUST SIGN IN at scrutineering by 3.00pm Drivers briefing: If required 6.30pm Race commences: 7.00pm NOTE: Each driver will get one heat race and either an A, B or C main final etc. on the second night. FUEL: NO FUEL WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE TRACK. RANDOM BREATH & DRUG TESTING; Will be carried out for drivers and crews. You will need to have with you: your car, your licence, your rule/log book, race suit, boots, balaclava, helmet, gloves, neck restraint, raceceivers. 3
