Enter the track from the false grid only, near Gearbox on the north end of the paddock. If you don t know where this is ask someone or have your instructor show you. 8. When entering the track, stay to the right through turn 1. This is for your safety as well as other cars that may be coming up the front straight at speed as you are entering the track. Corner workers will report if you don t and you will be black flagged. 9. All passes must be completed by the start of the shut down (brake) markers. 10. All passes must be pointed. Passed car stays online, passing car moves offline. Do not pass unless you receive a point. 11. Passing under a yellow flag condition will lose you the rest of the session. Please review the flags description sheet carefully. The second time you will be asked to leave the event. 12. Passing in a no passing zone you will be given 1 warning only. If it happens a second time you will be asked to leave the event. 13. Speed limit in the pit lane is 50mph and in paddock it is 20mph wheels off is an automatic pit stop to have your car (and your self) checked. You will also be black flagged as reminder to pit. 15. Do not leave anything behind when you leave the event. Place all trash and fluids in the proper receptacles. There are barrels with lids for disposing of oil, etc. 16. The sound limit for this event is 103 db. 17. The south paddock area in front of the garages is for exercises only. Do not park your car there because you will be asked to move. There will be orange cones making the start of the no parking (exercise) zone. You can park anywhere to the north of the cones. There is also no parking in the west paddock. There may be motorcycle classes put on by Road America on Saturday and Sunday that use the west paddock. Please do not move any of the large orange barricades. You may park in the paddock area just beyond the medical building. 18. Be sure to fill out your evaluation forms, one to turn in and one to give to your student/instructor. 19. Remember: You have to drive your car home. Drive safely and have fun.

3 Flags Green Displayed only at the start finish line, indicates that the track is open for passing. The absence of yellow flags at the turns indicates that passing is permitted. Stationary Yellow Caution, slow down. There is a potentially dangerous condition off the track. No passing until the next corner station that is not displaying a yellow flag. Violators will be black flagged. Waving Yellow Slow down and be prepared to stop. There is a serious condition on the track. No passing until the next corner station that is not displaying a yellow flag. Violators will be black flagged. Blue/Yellow Stripe Check your mirrors. A faster car is coming up behind you. Allow them to pass at the next passing zone. Red/Yellow Stripe The track condition has changed. There may be oil or water on the track. Also used to indicate that there is debris (car parts, glass, dirt, animals) on the track. Usually only displayed until all cars have seen the flag once or twice. White There is a slow moving vehicle on the track ahead. You may pass the slow moving vehicle with caution. The white flag is not used to indicate there s just one lap to go remember this is not a race. White with Red Cross There is an emergency vehicle on the track ahead. You may pass with caution. The emergency vehicle could be a safety truck, ambulance, wrecker or flat bed truck. Black The driver receiving the black flag at corner 14 or the start/finish line must come into the pits through pit it (after turn 14) to discuss a rules infraction at the black flag station. A number board is also used at turn 14. Don t ignore this flag. Black (All stations) A serious incident has occurred and the track must be cleared. Proceed slowly to the pits and wait for instructions. You may exit either at turn 5 or turn 14. Black/Orange Circle There is something mechnically wrong with your car. Exit the track through pit in (following turn 14) and proceed to the black flag station. This flag is displayed only at turn 14. Red Traffic on the track must be stopped due to a serious incident. When you see this flag slow down and then stop on the side of the track (not on a hill) within sight of a corner worker station. Do not proceed until given instruction by the corner workers. Most often a black flag all will follow a red flag.
