Please also note that any abuse, either verbal or physical, by an official to another official, security officer or member of the public will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the circuit and future invitations to marshal withheld. If you feel unable to use this reporting line, or you feel your complaint is not being dealt with correctly, you can talk to International Motor Sports Ltd directly on the Race Admin telephone number: Any complaints MUST be raised during the event and will be investigated as a matter of priority. If your Guest Wristband is misused by any person it may cause their removal from the meeting and prejudice your future selection. If the wristband is passed on to someone else who subsequently misuses it, you will be held responsible for their behaviour. Please do not pool your wristband for other marshals guests if you cannot use them yourself. If you choose to send your guest wristband in the post, any loss is at your own risk and the wristband will not be replaced. 5 Officials Pit Walk The Officials Pit Walk will take place on Friday between 19:15 and 20:00 hrs. Please note Marshals tabards or wristbands will not permit access to any scheduled public pit walks, including the open pit walks on Thursday. Guest wristbands do not allow access to either the Officials Pit Walk or any public pit walks. Marshals will be dropped off at Abbey. Marshals should then cross the track and go around the end of the barrier into the Pit Lane. Buses will park on the apron at Abbey/Farm and marshals can return and be dropped off, via the perimeter road at Gate 5. Marshals can also exit via the gate after the last garage and use the shuttle buses, via internal roads, back to Copse. We would remind you of the following: You must wear your officials wristband and any tabard issued for the event. Do not allow anyone else to wear your tabard. Smoking is not permitted in the pit lane. Filming is not permitted in the pit lane (still photography is allowed). The Pit Walk is for officials only (guests are not allowed). Please do not approach team personnel for any memorabilia. There is no access to the Formula 1 paddock. Once again, the FIA, F1 and Silverstone will be closely monitoring the pit walk. Meal Vouchers Each official will be provided with one 5 meal voucher for Thursday and two 5 meal vouchers for each full day they are marshalling (Friday, Saturday & Sunday). Additionally, marshals involved with the Thursday Systems Check will receive an additional 5 voucher. The vouchers are valid for the British Grand Prix only but are not day specific. These vouchers can be used at any of the catering concessions around the circuit or at the catering unit in the volunteers campsite. No change is given if the full voucher value is not used. Vouchers will not be accepted at the Pit Stop Café, any campsite shop or in exchange for alcohol at the bars. Water Each official will be able to collect 2 bottles of water each evening (plus 1 for Thursday), for the following day, from the campsite marquee. Water provisions for the Track Safety Team will be available in the TST Headquarters on Copse Runway. To ensure there is enough water for everyone, please do not take more than your allocation. There will be a separate allocation for Racemakers in the marquee. Both allocations will be clearly marked. Access Directions to Campsite & Parking Officials parking and campsite is on the outside of the circuit perimeter. Access is from Silverstone Village. Please read the reverse of your vehicle pass carefully and follow the WHITE route on Event Traffic Signage. At the correct turning there will be large MARSHALS CAMPSITE signs and then over the A43 on a private access road. This leads directly to the campsite on the left at the end of the road. Officials who are not using the campsite but have a car pass for daily access should follow the directions for the campsite and park as directed. Access and Egress to Campsite It may not be possible to enter or exit the campsite contrary to the traffic flow on Winterhills during peak times on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Thus, during the morning entry phase (AM) it may not be possible to exit from the campsite and during the afternoon exit phase (PM) it may not be possible to enter the campsite. Friday, Saturday and Sunday Exiting (PM) After the event exiting will be via Winterhills down to the A413 in Silverstone Village. All traffic must turn right towards Towcester. Westbound traffic should follow the A413 to the A43 junction where it should continue to the right on the A413 to Buckingham and route via the A422 westbound. Volunteers Campsite The volunteers campsite is managed by SEP on behalf of Silverstone Circuits Ltd. The Camping Control Office will be open 24 hours a day throughout the meeting. In the event of an emergency or difficulty, officials, their families and friends may use this facility to make contact. 5

6 On arrival, if your vehicle pass indicates a camping site location (row and plot number), report to the Camping Control Office. The campsite will be open from hours on the Tuesday before the race until hours on the Monday after the race. In order to reduce damage to the campsite, vehicle movement must be kept to a minimum. A 10mph speed limit will apply. There are very few spare campsite plots - please only use the plot allocated to you unless authorised by Campsite Control. If you are intending to arrive early in the week to place your tent/caravan, and then leave to return later in the week, please leave your contact telephone number at Campsite Control so they can contact you if there is a problem while you are absent from the site. The Volunteers Campsite is provided by Silverstone for working officials and volunteers (including Racemakers and British Red Cross). For the well-being of all officials, a curfew for music/parties will be strictly enforced from Any official or officials guest in breach of this will be asked to leave. Should you wish to party all night we respectfully request that you use a public campsite. Please note that fireworks, flares or Chinese Lanterns are not permitted on the campsite in the interests of safety. Guests If your guest is intending to stay with you on the campsite they must be accommodated within your designated plot. No one will be admitted to the Volunteers Campsite without either an officials wristband, an officials guest wristband or a campsite only wristband (only available in advance from Silverstone for children under the age of 18). If you arrive at the campsite with a guest who does not have a guest wristband they will be asked to exit the vehicle at the entrance. If your guest arrives separately to you without a guest wristband they will not be allowed access into the campsite. Please ensure you are wearing your wristband on arrival at the Volunteers Campsite. These measures are in place for the safety and security of all marshals and their belongings.
