2 Introduction to Anti-Thermal/Visual Self-Adhesive Camouflage System INTERMAT is able to introduce a modern type of anti-thermal and visual camouflage application, which sums up all provisions of NATO STANG The camouflage application in subject takes the form of self-adhesive tape or surface, customized both in size and pattern, according to customer s operational needs. The Anti-Thermal/Visual Self-Adhesive Camouflage System provides the following advantages: a. Very competitive cost/effectiveness when compared to conventional camouflage solutions (camouflage nets etc) escorted with high standards in terms of endurance and performance b. It is applicable on weapon systems or other military assets and materials that camouflage painting or use of other camouflage means (nets) is practically impossible. To mention a few of them: optical instruments (e.g. laser range finders), portable weapon systems (MANPADS, antitank weapons, firefinder Radars etc). The reasons that one cannot use any other camouflage form are both tactical and technical: -As an example, a multiple rocket launcher (like MLRS) or similar artillery asset or even an air defense artillery gun or rocket launcher has to remain in open ground when ready to accept and execute a fire command. When MLRS is in that status, there is not any other way to protect that asset (a very expensive and valuable asset) from thermal or visual observation. -Another example, a portable anti-tank weapon, which soldiers that use it have to remain in open ground and make sure that no obstacle (including a camouflage net) prevents the firing procedure due to the cone of gases that are produced during firing. c. The camouflage pattern when use Intermat s solution is highly adjustable to the operational needs and environments since all military assets could easily adjust their camouflage when entering from one operational environment to another (e.g. from urban terrain to jungle and vice-versa). d. Weapon systems, vehicles or other materials are easily restored to previous condition and appearance according to commander s wish. e. The application of self-adhesive camouflage is executed by the soldiers/operators/crews in minimum time and the most important: at the lowest echelon. No expert personnel and no assets neutralization (due to long-term painting works etc) is needed.

Even modern digital camouflage patterns may be combined to the advantage of our stealth technology against thermal imagers. g. The whole product and application plus our thermal signature management technology is INTERMAT s proprietary technology and that means that the customer is able to get all the benefits out of one source. Under our own operational studies, the self-adhesive camouflage is a fit solution for: a. Special Forces Units (they have constantly to adjust to various operational environments and sometimes behind enemy lines) b. Reccon Units (they have to keep a close contact with enemy but it is essential to pass unnoticed) c. Units that are equipped with specialized weapon systems and cannot use other camouflage means (nets, etc) and/or have to move constantly in Operational Area (e.g. shoot and scoot units->no time and personnel to allocate for camouflage nets deployment) d. Small assets (radio stations, portable range finders, heavy guns tripods and parts) that are affecting heavily the thermal signature but camouflage solutions are not applicable. e. Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) vehicles (e.g. civil vehicles that military finds appropriate for use) or materials and equipment (portable computers, generators, Bergen bags etc) that normally no serious camouflage is provided. With self-adhesive antithermal/visual camouflage any COTS material is ready for deployment. The cost/effectiveness ratio in that case is really impressive. 4 MATERIALS that you need: INTERMAT s Anti-Thermal/Visual Self-Adhesive Camouflage System- CHAMELEON s SKIN (Pattern is indicative-please contact INTERMAT for pattern/colors variations-options) a mop bucket water/car wash soap or isopropyl alcohol swab a squeegee with soft edge

INSTRUCTIONS: a. Pour few drops of car wash soap into a mop bucket. Fill the bucket halfway with water. Dip the sponge into the bucket. b. Wash the area on which you will place INTERMAT s Anti-Thermal/Visual Self-Adhesive Camouflage System (the decal) with the sponge.

Dry the washed area with a wipe, or leave it to airdry. d. In the case of oily surface first clean the oil with isopropyl alcohol swab and follow steps (a) to (c). e. Lay the decal on the area. Lift up the bottom inch of the vinyl and remove the backing. Press the sticky part into place. Slowly remove the backing, using the squeegee to smooth out the vinyl f. Push the squeegee over the surface to remove any bubbles. Start with the squeegee in the middle of the decal and move it outward. A STEP-BY-STEP PROCEDURE: STEP 1:
