Avoid the initial pressure with quick feet and strong frame to fight off rushers. He has good, but not elite straight-line speed in the mold of top dual-threat QBs. He is the type that needs to sit a season or two and be in a setting where he can get comfortable in a system. He still needs development both physically and mentally to hold up to the rigors of the NFL. This is a very good NFL starter with the skills to develop, though would benefit from the tutelage of a strong offensive minded coach and gain extensive under center training. Within the pocket, displays a crisp natural throwing motion and is well-developed in a pro-style offense that contained elements of the West Coast offense. Took snaps from under center as well as in the shotgun. Able to really drive the ball when required, though many of his passes seem to glide, rather than explode from his hand. Some concerns about his velocity on the outs and tight seam routes. Deceptive mobility. If he misreads coverage and his primary receiver is taken away, he tends to retreat from the pocket, rather than climb it. Shows the willingness to take a hit to complete the pass. Questions related to his leadership and was not voted team captain. Faces tough interview related to his intangibles and overall leadership qualities. Can fit the ball into tight windows in coverage when given a nice pocket. Good talent, though a falling prospect in this quality class. Probable late 1st or early 2nd round pick. Top 5 QB prospect with the skill set to win a starting job within a few seasons after learning a system. Needs further work on reading defenses and go through his progressions. Draft Projection: 5th-6th Round 9. Nate Sudfeld #7-6-6, Indiana - Sp Rating 70 Tall, lanky, senior field general has been a three-year starter for the Hoosiers. From a family with football pedigree. Twin brothers both played college football. Matthew was a wide receiver at Brown University ( ) and Zach is currently a tight end with the New York Jets after starring at Nevada. Somewhat underrated in the Big Ten with familiar names at the more powerful programs getting most of the attention, such as Cook, Hackenberg, and Jones. Legitimate prospect in his own right. Possesses a definite NFL quality arm and has ideal size for the position. Shows some mobility within the pocket but not a running threat. Took over the starting job midway through his sophomore season and held it since, except when he missed the last 6 games of his junior season to an injury to his non-throwing shoulder. Shows the arm strength to throw all the routes used in NFL offenses. Stands tall in the pocket, and displays an over the top delivery. Generally, he shows good accuracy, but not consistent in that regard. He has the ability to operate in a timing based offense, anticipate where and when to make the throw. Shows the ability to sense the rush, and will get rid of the ball Athletic Ability 7 Arm Strength 7 Accuracy 7 Mechanics 7 Mobility 7 Instincts 8 Intangibles 8 Ball Handling 8 Derek Anderson early or throw it away rather than take a sack most of the time. When he has a clean pocket, is able to fire the ball accurately all over the field with good follow through. Sometimes gets into bad habits with his footwork and will short hop some fairly routine throws. Inconsistent performances from week to week sometimes. May look great one week, but like no more than a career backup the next. Not a scrambler. Moves around when necessary just enough to complete the pass or throw it away. He has the tools to work with, including size, arm strength and good character, but struggles with maintaining consistent accuracy. In 2015, threw for 3573 yards, 412 attempts, 247 completions, 60% rate for 27 TD and 7 picks. In an injury shortened 2014 campaign, he threw for 1151 yards on 167 attempts with 101 completions, 61% for 6 TD and 3 picks. In 2013, he threw for 2523 yards with 322 attempts for 194 completions on 60% rate for 21 TDs and 9 picks. At the NFL Combine, he came in at 6 6 and 234 lbs. with 34 1/4 arms and 9 7/8 hands. He did not run, but added a 29 VJ and an 8 9 BJ. Displayed a fairly strong arm in the throwing drills with a long release that gets the ball out. He faces a learning curve especially technically in his setup when under center or dropping in the pocket. Shows the ability to read coverage and find secondary receivers. He has the patience to sit in the pocket and allow plays to develop. Size, arm strength and skill set to win a #3 role and challenge for time fairly soon. Productive player with the intangibles necessary to compete at a high level of competition. Needs throwing and footwork technique development. Top prospect and probable later 3rd day pick with skill set to continue to improve. Good long-term project with talent. Draft Projection: 5th-6th Round 7

8 10. Jacoby Brissett #12-6-4, North Carolina St - Sp Rating 70 Big, strong-armed two-year starter for the Wolf Pack. Displays the size and core strength to shrug off a pass rusher, get outside the pocket and make a play. Throws well on the run with good accuracy. Accurate from the pocket or on the move. Keeps his Athletic Ability 7 eyes downfield when on the move. Prefers to pass in those situations, rather than just Arm Strength 7 take off running. Extends plays more by strength, or feeling the rush, than by Accuracy 7 elusiveness. Barely average as a runner whether scrambling or by design. Not much Mechanics 7 foot speed and looks a little tentative in the open. Strong enough leg drive to be effective Mobility 8 on QB sneaks in short yardage. Very competitive and a fine leader. Motivated with a Instincts 7 strong work ethic. Displays definite NFL arm strength. Enough to be effective on any Intangibles 8 types of routes. Can put heat on his passes to fit it in tight windows, or use touch and Ball Handling 8 timing when necessary. Shows the ability loft the deep-balls and drop them in over the receiver's shoulder. Makes smart decisions with the football most of the time. Able to read the entire field from the pocket or when on the move. Fine anticipation for throwing Geno Smith windows as they develop. Plays in an up tempo spread, usually in the shotgun, so may need some reps to get comfortable under center. Very durable. Takes a lot of shots but seems to always bounce right back. Did not have consistently reliable pass-protection, so may have developed a few bad habits. Throws off his back foot sometimes and often looks to the check-down sooner than necessary. Deep-ball accuracy can be inconsistent at times. Keeps his interception numbers low because he gets overly cautious at times taking the safer shorter throws rather than pushing the ball downfield into tight coverage. Footwork gets sloppy at times causing accuracy to be inconsistent. Unimpressive career completion pct., especially considering the high number of short throws and check-downs. During the 2015 season, he completed 237 of 395 passes for 2662 yards with 20 TDs and 6 interceptions. During the 2014 season, he completed 221 of 370 passes for 2606 yards with 23 TDs and 5 interceptions. Over his career, he attempted 839 career passes, completing 499 for 5723 yards, 60% rate for 44 TDs and 11 picks. At the NFL Combine, he came in at 6 4 and 231 lbs. with 32 1/4 arms and 9 3/4 ¼ hands. He ran a 4.94 time and had a 31 VJ, 9 5 BJ with a 7.17 three cone time. Displayed a sound arm in the throwing drills with a compact release that gets the ball out nicely. With only two seasons as a starter, he faces a learning curve especially technically in his setup and reading defenses. Good leadership and the overall talent to develop further. Skills of arm strength and intangibles to win a #3 role in camp. With development and overall improvement, he could move up to a #2 role and possible starting QB in time. Top 200 prospect and probable late 3rd day pick with tools to move up depth charts. Long-term project with talent. Draft Projection: 4th-5th Round 11. Cody Kessler #6-6-1, Southern California - Sp Rating 65 Unimposing, cerebral field general has efficiently guided the Trojans offense the past three seasons. Never made 1st or 2nd team All-Pac 12, but was a finalist for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award the past two seasons. Physically, he's not an ideal pro prospect. Shorter than teams prefer. Arm strength is no more than average, and he's not very athletic. Usually shows good pocket awareness though, and can make subtle moves to avoid the rush and gain a little extra time. Accuracy as a passer is definitely NFL level. Never lower than 65.4% for any season. Good vision to find the open receiver and takes what the defense gives him. Will play pitch and catch in the underneath zones all day if the defense lets him. Even with all the great quarterbacks to play at USC, this guy owns the record for career completion pct. rate with 67.5%. When throwing just from the pocket, he is even better, completing over 70%. Intelligent field general that can run an offense. Knows how to go through his progressions till he finds an open man. Not afraid to bail out of the pocket when it collapses and try to make a play. Accuracy is not as good when throwing on the move or outside the confines of the pocket. Much more likely to miss an open receiver when under pressure and scrambling. Sometimes gets happy feet in the pocket if he feels like the rush is getting close. At times appears he does not trust his arm and will double pump before deciding whether to attempt a pass or not. Can effectively and efficiently guide an offense when given time to throw from the pocket. Very risk averse and does not like to force low percentage passes. Sometimes he has stretches where he looks very impressive, and other times he looks like a deer in the headlights when forced off his spot. Has the look of a possible career backup who could keep a team on track for a few games in a stretch. In 2015, he threw for 3536 yards on 446 attempts for 298 completions at 66.8% for 29 TDs and 7 picks. In 2014, he threw for 3826 yards, on 452 attempts with 315 completions for a 69.7% for 39 TDs and 5 picks. In 2013, he threw for 2968 yards on 361 attempts with 236 completions for a 65.4% for 20 TDs and 7 picks. At the NFL Combine, he came in at 6 1 and 220 lbs. with 32 5/8 arms and 10 7/8 hands. He ran a 4.89 time and had a 29.5 VJ, 8 8 BJ with a 7.32 three cone time. Displayed an average arm in the throwing drills with a compact release that gets the ball out nicely. Possesses the ability to find the open receiver and shows the leadership to direct an offense. Savvy passer can win a #3 role after extensive big game experience. With further development, he could be a top backup QB in time. Top 200 prospect and probable later 3rd day pick with definite skills. Good long-term project with talent. 8

9 12. Brandon Allen #10-6-1, Arkansas - Sp Rating 65 Savvy mobile senior has been a consistently productive competitor over his three seasons starting for the Hogs. Good athleticism with the ability to extend plays and pick up yardage. Shows fine improvisational skills when on the move and continually improved over his three starting seasons. Sets up quickly while displaying an aggressive mentality. His passes are usually accurate with good ball placement and adequate velocity on most throws. Confident in his abilities and spreads the ball around well to his receivers in this run oriented attack. Shows good poise and grit, physically and mentally. Displays pro quality leadership ability. Extensive starting experience with 37 in three seasons and left school ranked among the best in Arkansas history in yardage (10,223) and 3rd in career passing TDs (79). Displays a quick, tight release. Able to add some velocity to his throws and fit the ball into tight windows. He has acceptable touch and accuracy on his deep throws. Mobile, productive runner who compiled 1,380 rushing yards and 13 career TDs. Accepted his role and stayed within himself. Completion pct. increased significantly in his final two seasons. Shows a good internal clock and will look to get rid of the ball and save yardage. As a passer, consistency and decision making were among his strong points. Inconsistent ball placement when throwing on the move and his ability to drive the ball with velocity and accuracy are concerns on the deeper routes. As a senior, he had 66% rate while throwing for 3440 yards for 30 TD passes and 8 picks. It was a significant improvement in all areas of play, especially completion rate. As a junior, he had 56% rate while throwing for 2285 yards for 20 TD passes and 5 picks. The foot injury had a big effect on both his throwing and running. Marginal size and arm strength limits his NFL potential. After three starting seasons in SEC, shows nice positional awareness, though clear work ahead. Savvy QB with essential work under center and reading coverage. Project needs time on PS before winning #3 role. At the NFL Combine, he came in at 6 1 and 217 lbs. with 31 1/4 arms and 8 7/8 hands. He ran a 4.84 time and had a 28 VJ, 9 BJ with a 7.06 three cone time. In the throwing drills, he displayed a good delivery and an average arm with a compact release that gets the ball out quickly. Scans the field and finds open receivers. Shows the leadership to direct an offense. Rising senior can win a #3 role after a strong final performance. With further development, he could be a top backup QB in time. Top 200 prospect and later 3rd day pick with talent to continue to progress at the position. Good backup with skills to surprise. 13. Dak Prescott #15-6-2, Mississippi St - Sp Rating 65 Dynamic, athletic, dual-threat QB has been a playmaker for the Bulldogs during his three years running the offense. Few QBs in SEC history have been able to threaten a defense with both their arm and their legs any better. Took over as starter in 2013 and gotten progressively better as a passer each season. Though his success as a runner took a sharp dip his senior season. Named 1st team SEC by both AP and Coaches for both his junior and senior seasons. Culminated his career by playing in the Senior Bowl, where he performed well and was named MVP. Named the 2014 and 2015 Conerly Trophy Winner (best player in Mississippi). All-American in both 2014 and Named the 2013 Liberty Bowl MVP and 2015 Belk Bowl MVP. As a passer, has a smooth, compact over the top delivery. Quick release. Accuracy has steadily improved throughout his career. Inconsistent accuracy when he cannot or does not step toward his throws. Fine arm strength. More than strong enough to make every NFL throw. Usually good accuracy and ball placement on all the routes. Makes quick decisions. Will stand tall in the pocket and take a hit, waiting for the last possible instant to get rid of the ball. Able to adjust arm angle to throw around onrushing linemen while maintaining good accuracy. Very alert for the rush, and hard to sack. He's become a very cerebral quarterback during his time in Starkville. Showed steadily improving awareness as a passer throughout his career. Reads coverages better, knows how to go through his progressions, and unload quickly when he makes his decision. When he's given a clean pocket, is able to fire very accurate passes all over the field. Shows good mental fortitude. Never allows mistakes to get him down and is able to shrug them off and move on. One of the best running QBs in memory. Displays vision, agility, power, and toughness. Possesses enough talent as runner, he could possibly have an NFL career as a runner if he fails to succeed as a QB. Could be very effective in a Wildcat offense with his equal ability to threaten a defense passing or running. In 2015, threw for 3793 yards on 477 attempts for 316 completions, a 66.2% completion rate, 29 TDs and 5 picks. Ran for 588 yards, 10 TDs with a 3.7 average. In 2014, threw for 3449 yards on 396 attempts for 244 completions, a 61.6% rate, 27 TDs and 11 picks. Ran for 986 yards, 14 TDs, with a 4.7 average. In 2013, threw for 1940 yards on 267 attempts with 156 completions, a 58.4% rate, 10 TDs and 7 picks. Ran for 829 yards, 13 TDs, and a 6.2 average per carry. At the NFL Combine, he came in at 6 2 and 226 lbs. with 32 1/4 arms and big 10 7/8 hands. He ran a 4.79 time and had a 32.5 VJ, 9 8 BJ with a 7.11 three cone time. Displayed an average arm in the throwing drills with a compact quick release. Mobile savvy system QB can win a #3 role after extensive big game experience. Good leadership skills. With further development, he could be a top backup QB. Falling top 200 prospect and probable mid-3rd day pick with definite skills. Long-term project with talent to surprise, but needs time to settle into system. 14. Vernon Adams #3-5-11, Oregon - Sp Rating 65 Mobile, athletic senior transfer energized the Ducks offense after the departure of the great Marcus Mariota to the NFL. After a prolific career at the lower level Eastern Washington program, Vernon transferred to play his senior season with the Ducks. Missed some time with minor injuries and the offense just wasn't the same without him. 9

10 Plays with all out abandon all the time, which leads to his taking some hard hits. Played in 10 games, as the Ducks managed a fairly respectable 9-4 record, largely due to Adams' performances when healthy. The only loss in which Adams played the entire game was in East Lansing to Michigan State, The other three losses came when he missed all or significant portions of the games. The Ducks won only two games in which he did not play. Non conference vs Georgia State, and at Colorado. Out dueled conference s bigger name QBs such as Jared Goff, Kevin Hogan and Cody Kessler. Measurements at the NFL Combine were similar to Russell Wilson at the 2012 Combine. Same exact height, 5105, Adams was 4 lbs. lighter at 200 even. Wilson has bigger hand size at 10 1/4 to 9 1/8 and longer arms at 31 compared to 30 1/4. Wilson ran a lot faster at 4.55 to 4.83 and jumped better. Adams had a faster time in the 3 cone. Invited to the East-West Shrine Game and put on a fine showing. Threw 3 first half TD passes including a Shrine Game record 94 yarder. Possesses outstanding ability to improvise. Excellent mobility and able to create big plays when on the move. Fearless when faced with oncoming defenders. Very accurate, especially on short to medium range throws. Displays very impressive arm strength. Even at his height, seldom had passes deflected throwing from the pocket. Quieted some critics with his work from the pocket in the East-West game. Able to recognize and avoid pressure. Able to go through his progressions very quickly and will take the alternate receiver when the first read is covered. Uses his exceptional short area quickness to evade pressure in the pocket, escape, extend the play and very frequently make chicken salad out of nothing. His most spectacular completions rivaled those of anyone. He has the ability to elevate the performance of those around him. Throws with a slightly ¾ release point, and it would benefit him if he could learn to come more over the top like Wilson without effecting his accuracy. Granted he comes in a small package, but ht./wt. wise couldn't be any closer to Wilson's size. Durability is a concern due to the way he sells out to make a play, often taking big hits. In 2015, threw for 2643 yards, 259 attempts, 168 completions, 64.9% rate, 26 TDs and 6 picks. Finished his earlier career at EWU with 10,438 passing yards and a completion percentage of 64.8 (701-for-1,081). Averaged passing yards-per-game and 9.1 yards-per-attempt. Ran for 1,232 yards with 11 TDs while at Eastern. Was runner-up for the Walter Payton Award, given to the top player in NCAA FCS as both a sophomore and a junior. At the NFL Combine, he came in at 5 11 and 200 lbs. and ran a 4.83 time and had a 29.5 VJ, 9 6 BJ with a 6.82 three cone time. Savvy passer with an average arm who showed a quick compact delivery in the throwing drills. Natural leader motivates an offense. Mobile passer who keeps plays alive and can find secondary receivers under pressure. With further development, he could be a quality backup QB in time. Top 200 prospect and probable late 3rd day pick with definite skills. Good late gamble with the intangibles to surprise. 15. Brandon Doughty #12-6-3, Western Kentucky - Sp. 5.1 Rating 60 Gritty intelligent senior three-year starter showed steady improvement and solid production during his career with WK. Tall lanky prospect worked in a pro style attack that spread the ball around and relied on accurate timing passes. Worked it to perfection and put up record numbers by the time he completed his career. Average athlete with decent mobility to get to the outside and move within the pocket. Good pocket awareness to operate in tight spaces, but able to adjust and use his legs when necessary. Lacks exceptional arm strength, but has acceptable velocity when able to step into throws and follow through. Usually gets the pass off quickly, and is fearless in the pocket when under pressure and willing to hold the ball if needed. Attempts to test small windows and has the confidence to make tight throws. Shows good field awareness and seems to know where everyone is at any time and understands matchups, including where the soft spots are in defenses. Shows good football IQ and is diligent in his preparation. Fine leadership traits and mental toughness. Highly productive vs D1 talent. Arm strength is less than ideal and throws too many passes with too much air. Struggles to add mustard to his throws especially the out. He has a slight hitch at the top of his delivery. Struggles controlling his touch and ball placement is inconsistent when forced from his original spot. Inconsistent anticipating blitzes or seeing extra pass rushers before the play. At times, he will predetermine his throws and forces it into congested areas. Field vision and decision-making are sound when he gets a clean pocket. As a senior, he was named the AAC Offensive Player-of-the-Year by the coaches, passed for an AAC and ECU single-season record 4,736 yards, completing 63.5 % of passes (392 of 617) with 30 TDs and 10 picks. He also added 6 rushing TDs and established a new record with 4,812 yards of total offense. Started all 13 games and completed 387-of-549 passes for 4,139 yards and 33 TDs and 10 picks as a junior. Started 11-of-13 games and completed 273 of 413 passes for 3,116 yards, 23 TDs and 10 picks as a sophomore in At the NFL Combine, he ran a 5.22 time with a 27 VL and an 8 7 BJ with a 7.49 three cone. Physical and mental makeup to win a #3 job with the skill set to move up with development. Type of prospect a club needs to allow settle into the offense and develop the finer points of the position. Prospect with smarts and fine vision that facilitates his decision making and will be a 25-year-old rookie. Marginal prospect with talent to develop, but only an average skill set physically. Marginal top 250 talent with make it grade. 16. Josh Woodrum - 6-2, Liberty - Sp Rating Joel Stave - 6-5, Wisconsin - Sp Rating Blake Frohnapel - 6-5, UMass - Sp Rating Jake Coker - 6-4, Alabama - Sp Rating 58 10
