2 Parent Code of Conduct Longmont Rush Bas etball Club will strive to maintain positivity in and around every Longmont Rush team. This includes and is not limited to practices, during all competitions and in our local communities. By signing this commitment contract! 1we accept all the following terms and codes of conduct. parentcs)/guardilcs) are expected to: Remain in the area(s) designated for spectators during all practices/games/tournaments - please note that coach(es) may elect to close practices to parents. Not to advise coach(es) on how to coach, and not make derogatory comments to coach(es), officials, tournament directors, opponents or other parents, guardians, or spectators. Not to coach any player(s) during game(s) or give them instruction. Parents/Guardians may "encourage" Their playerts) during games & on breaks. Will not approach coach( es) immediately before, during or following a game or tournament to discuss play or playing t~e and will wait at least 24 hours after a tournament before discussing any issues with coach(es). P~ease resolve any differences at a reasonable time and please make an appointment to do so. Encourage ptayer(s) to have discussions with hislher coach(es) regarding playing time, skills, and concerns or issues. Plryer(s) may talk with coach(es) at practice about this or may schedule a meeting before or a practice. 19ain, please do not do this on a tournament day. Maintain a ppsitive attitude and emphasize teamwork & cooperation with your player(s). Support all attempt to remove belligerent, abusive or profane behavior around the team, coach(es) and families - verbal, physical, actual or threatened. Encourage afd applaud the hard work, fair play and effort of ALL of our players and coach(es). Advise pers~ns whom you invited along as spectators or to any practices, scrimmages, or tournaments of our expecte conduct. Agree to pa ' all club fees according to the contract received, even if my child quits the team. Encourage hard work and honest effort to your palyer(s) - that leads to improved performance and participation! Support and encourage attendance at ALL practices and tournaments. Missing practices will affect playing time. Understand and agree to the following policy on play time: Longmont Rush's focus is to provide training all players in the sport of basketball. Each player is guaranteed practice time. Playing time in games & tournaments is not guaranteed to any player. By signing this contract, understand that have co itted to play for Longmont Rush Basketball Club for the entire season and will be he responsible for all of the following terms: will con uct myself in a manner to be respectful of all players, coach( es), officials, opponents & spectators and will strive to bring positivity and prestige to the team. will make every effort to attend and be on time for every practice, game/tournament and team funcfion scheduled by the coach( es). will inform the coach( es) personally 24 hours pri0t if cannot make a scheduled practice, game/tournament, or event, in the event of an illnefs or family emergency will call the coach( es) as soon as possible. will communicate constructively both on and off the court. will Willrgly accept all coaching comments and assignments. will not comment in the errors of my teammates, as know no one is trying to make a mistake bdt instead will encourage my teammates at all times. will participate with full effort/intensity, to the best of my ability, in all training and competitid1n, and will be an active participant in all group discussions to reach a true team consensus 1 Playing time is determined by the coach( es) and playing time during games is not guar~nteei' understand that will have every opportunity to prove myself at every practice. understand and agree to the following policy on play time: Longmont Rush Basketball Club's focus is to provide training to all players in the sport of basketball. 4 tcknowledgement & AGREEMENT By signing and dating the commitment contracts, 1we acknowledge that 1we have received, ~ead and agree with the terms outlined within this contract. Amendments to the Longmonf Rush Basketball Club rules, policies, agreements and contacts may be made at any time eemed necessary. Reiteration of KEY ELEMENTS: By signing & dating this Commitment Contract, you understand and agree: -That all fees must be paid in order for the player to be eligible to practice & play -Thatl playing time is NOT guaranteed. Players must earn playing time. Coach( es) decide on playing time & positions for each player to best benefit the team. -That player(s) and parent(s)/guardian(s) will not violate the terms of these agreements and if terms are violated, players may be removed from play and/or team. -That if a rlayer is caught or suspected of drinking alcohol or using any type of illegal drug or to acco they may be immediately suspended from further play and removed from the team. -That all fres are due even if a player does not complete the season, regardless of reason (any exceptions will be determined by the Club Director). Conseque ces for violation of any part of these agreements are at the discretion of the Longmont Rush Basketball Club Director. Waiver of claims: t is agreed that by signing the agreement, the use of facilities and the participation 0+ in Longmont Rush Basketball Club activities shall be entered by each player at their risk. Longmont Rush Basketball Club, it's coach(es), & director shall not be liable for any injuries and/or damage to any member or be subject to any claim whatsoevet. Longmont Rush Basketball Club shall not be responsible or liable for damage to personal belongings, lost or stolen including automobiles and/or their contents. 1we certify that 1we have received, read, understand and agree to be bound by the terms and conditfons of this and the above listed contract and agreements. n the event that there are rrr-ultipleparents/guardians responsible for player and paying of fees, all involved lust sign this contract and will be bound by all rules, agreements and policies outlined i this and every document listed above. hereby a.ree that shall be liable for the payment of the entire amount of the fees and expenditurfs for my child's season of play on the Longmont Rush Basketball Club. n the event my account is referred to a collection agency, agree to pay the balance owed to Longmont Rush as well as any fees that incurs by the collection agency.
