2 UAB Media Relations Norm Reilly* Associate Athletics Director Tray Littlefield** Assistant Director Anthony Prisco Assistant Director Kristin Watkins Assistant Director Brandon Lee Media Relations Assistant * denotes primary football contact ** denotes secondary football contact Office Phone: Call Us UAB! Please note that there are only two correct versions of our name, the acronym UAB, or the full University of Alabama at Birmingham. In addition, the Associated Press sports stylebook now uses UAB on first reference, not Alabama- Birmingham. We are not: Alabama-Birmingham, Ala.-Birmingham, or U.A.B. The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) has been an autonomous member of the University of Alabama system since 1969, and has had an intercollegiate athletic program since UAB is sometimes confused with the University of Alabama (Crimson Tide), which is located in Tuscaloosa; while this is inevitable, it is important to note that the two are indeed separate institutions. In addition, the UAB name is often altered by various media, opponents, merchandisers, etc. UAB GAME WEEK SCHEDULE MEDIA SERVICES Sunday: The team generally has meetings and a short workout in the late afternoon/early evening.
