Meg Essex needs 66 more blocks this season to tie recent Newberry Hall of Fame inductee, Tiffany Johnson at 225. Essex has two double-doubles on the season to equal five on her career. Head Coach Sean Page needs 33 more wins to reach 200 at Newberry. Shelby Britten had a six game scoring streak where she didnt score less than 15 points, snapped against Wingate. Meg Essex finished the season 11th in Division II with 2.73 blocked shots per game. Tincher s first season back came in the 2016 season, when Newberry clinched the No. 5 seed in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament with a 18-9 overall record and 14-8 conference record. COLLEGIATE SUMMARY Four-year letter winner at Francis Marion University as a forward/center. MVP senior season, led the team in rebounds, was a part of their 2001 run to the NCAA Division II Sweet 16, played in 97 of 115 games during four seasons.
