1 26 th Annual YMCA State Basketball Tournament HOSTED BY: Suwanee Sports Academy Cost: $ per Team Dates: Friday - Sunday, February 23-25, 2018 Entry Deadline: Location: February 14, (Tournament Fee and Roster) Information packets with tournament schedule will be posted and ed after Friday February 14, Spaces are limited (First come first served basis). There will not be any refunds after the entry deadline date. Suwanee Sports Academy 3640 Burnette Rd Suwanee, GA Phone: / Fax: (Contact) - Daniel Paccione dpaccione@hoopseen.com Age Divisions: 10 & Under, 12 & Under, 14 & Under (Boys and Girls) 18 & Under (Boys Only) Roster Size: Age Cutoff Date: Eligibility: Maximum 12 Players January 1, (Whatever age the player is on this date will dictate the division). Players may play up an age division but may not play down. A player can only play for one team. Each player must have a birth certificate. All players must be YMCA members for 90 days prior to the Tournament and / or played in your YMCA league.

2 Format: Modifications: Directors: Each team is guaranteed 3 games. ALL TEAMS (including 9-10 age division) play on 10 feet goals size ball will be used for 10 & under, 12 & under and all girl teams. Official size basketball will be use for the 14 & up age divisions. All games will be 10 minute quarters with a running clock. The clock will stop the last two minutes of the 2 nd and 4th quarters. Overtime will be three minutes and clock will stop the last minute. Free substitution for all games, 2 Technical fouls on an individual (player or coach) disqualifies him/her from the tournament. 5 fouls per player. Any defense will be allowed. If a team is up by 20 points or more the clock will run. If a team is up by 15 points then that team cannot full court press. There will be no Protest Michael N. 3 Awards: Team trophies will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place. The consolation bracket will play for placement only. Individual awards will be given to the 1st place finishers in the winner s bracket. Cancellations: Unless 4 teams are entered in a specific age division, that division will be canceled. Teams will be notified one week prior to the tournament. Conduct: Officials will be instructed to call poor sportsmanship infractions on coaches, players, and spectators more closely than in regular games. A pre-game pledge of sportsmanship will be held at mid court prior to each game. The pledge will be conducted by the coaches. In addition, all players and coaches will be expected to meet at half court at the end of each game for a handshake to show good sportsmanship.
