7 San Jose Sharks: Media Notes LAST GAMES /6/3 SJ 4 vs. COL 0 Patrick Marleau became just the second player in the history of the NHL, joining Cy Denneny in 97-8, to have four multi-goal games to start a season. Matt Irwin scored his first career NHL goal and Thomas Greiss recorded his first career NHL shutout. It s the Sharks first start since /4/3 SJ 5 vs. PHX 3 Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau and Joe Pavelski all had three or more points in helping the Sharks overcome a two-goal third period deficit to win their third straight.
