His 7:6 of time on ice led both teams and his four shots paced the club. Filip Forsberg tallied two helpers for his third-career multi-point playoff game. It was the first time a defenseman had multiple assists in a playoff game since Francis Bouillon on April 7, at Phoenix. Pekka Rinne stopped 7-of-9 shots in the contest to earn his 7th-career playoff victory and First Star of the Game honors. GAME THREE Returning to Bridgestone Arena for Game Three up -, the Nashville Predators fell to the Anaheim Ducks -. The Preds outshot the Ducks 7- and also won the face-off battle, claiming 5 percent of the draws. Shea Weber skated in his 48th career postseason contest, passing David Legwand for the top spot on the all-time franchise playoff games played. The shutout loss marked the first time since May 4, that Nashville went scoreless in a postseason game (vs. Phoenix, Mike Smith). GAME FOUR Despite outshooting, outhitting, and winning the face-off battle against the Anaheim Ducks in Game Four of Round One, the Nashville Predators lost the contest 4-, evening the series at two game apiece. Mike Fisher scored his first goal of the playoff series and 9th of his NHL career in the postseason. Colin Wilson notched his second assist of the series and his third point. Shea Weber posted his first assist of the series. The Preds outshot the Ducks -5, pumping 6 shots in the second period. It was tied for the third-most shots in playoff franchise history in a single period. Nashville won 58 percent of its faceoffs (-of-5). MISTER PLAYOFFS Nashville Predators forward Colin Wilson scored a goal in Game One against the Anaheim Ducks and added an assist in Games Two, Three and Five giving him points in 4 career playoff games (7g-4a). Six of those goals have occurred in his last postseason contests, including five during last season's Western Conference Quarterfinal against the Chicago Blackhawks. The two teams previously skated against each other in the Western Conference Quarterfinals, with Nashville claiming the series in six games (4- ). It was the first time that the team won a series in franchise history. Nashville won Games One, Three, Five and Six, winning the fifth game in overtime. In each of the contests, the Preds were able to score at least three goals, posting four goals in each of the wins. Mike Fisher led the team in scoring with six points (g-a). Joel Ward and Shea Weber also posted three goals in the series. HOW WE GOT HERE The Nashville Predators concluded the 5-6 regular season with a record, good for 96 points in the standings and the first Wild Card spot in the Western Conference. The record was the sixth best in franchise history and clinched the team its ninth berth in the Stanley Cup Playoffs. Filip Forsberg led the team in goals () and points (64), tying Jason Arnott for the single-season goals record (8-9).
