Full equipment is required. All clinics will work on a variety of skills. Each session includes an hour of instruction and fifteen minutes of games. Clinics are open to current Mites, Squirts, and Pee Wee hockey players. Pre-registration preferred. Walk-ons only taken if clinic is not sold out. Clinics will work on a variety of skills. Each session will include one hour of instruction and fifteen minutes of fun. Skills clinics are taught by Guest Coaches outside the standard coaching staff at Power Play. The clinics are designed to focus on skating technique. Open to skaters who passed Basic 8 and above. Pre-registration required. Walk-ons are only taken if the clinic is not sold out. 8 Power Play Rinks makes your child the star of the rink with our ice ska ng party. All par es require a $75 non-refundable deposit before the date of the party is confirmed. A lesson can be added where a coach will teach a 20 minute group lesson for your party guests at an addi onal $25 fee. All par es are required to pay an addi onal 15% gratuity. 9 Learn to Skate Cost: $139 for a 7-week Session Ages 4 to adult Have fun while learning the fundamentals of ice ska ng! No previous ska ng experience is required. Each class consists of a half-hour group lesson and a half-hour of a supervised prac ce session. Each student may bring one parent on the ice during the prac ce session for a small fee. No siblings/friends may be on the ice unless in the class. HELMET RULE: All children under 7 years old are REQUIRED to wear a bike or hockey helmet. We do not loan helmets. 10 Learn to Play Ice Hockey Cost: $129 for a 7-week session - Ages 4-14 We offer a Learn to Play Hockey class that is devoted to enhancing the hockey skills needed to advance players into youth ice hockey. Our philosophy is to allow the players to develop their hockey skills while growing their love for the game. Every week the players will work on ska ng skills, puck skills, and partake in some type of game to keep them coming back for more. All par cipants should be able to skate around ice without falling, stop, and be able to move backwards. We recommend all players begin their journey in LTS. Required Equipment Hockey Helmet with cage or shield, elbow pads, gloves, cup/pelvic protector, hockey shin pads, ice hockey s ck, and hockey pants. Rental skates are provided free of charge for those who need them. U.S. Hockey Supply now offers a Beginner Hockey package that includes Helmet, Shoulder Pads, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Hockey Pants, Shin Pads, Bag, and a s ck for $170. 11 Bridge Program High Performance Academy Freestyle Synchronized Ska ng Spring Show Theatre on Ice Full Day Camp July 11-15, 2016 Bridge Program is for skaters interested in becoming figure skaters. The program allows beginners to advance their skills in a fun and challenging environment. Skaters may only par cipate in one session of Bridge program. A er comple on of Bridge skaters may join Exton Edge. 7 Week Session $139 Session 1 - Oct 25, Nov 1, 8, 15, 22, Dec 6, 20 Sundays 3pm-4pm Session 2 - Jan 10, 17, 24, 31 Feb 7, 14, 21 Sundays 3pm-4pm High Performance Academy uses a training method used by champion Russian skaters. Skaters train in small groups with skaters of similar abili es. The Academy will be coached by three high level coaches in a rota ng lessons. All Sessions are 12 weeks. Limited to 18 skaters. Spring Session 4/5 to 5/27 $299 Summer Session 5/31-8/31 $365 Fall/Winter Session The Exton Edge FSC fields compe ve and exhibi on Synchronized Ska ng teams during the Fall/Winter. Teams of 8-16 skaters spend the season prac cing in a team environment and showcase their rou nes in various shows and compe ons. Tryouts are held annually in April. Spots remain available for graduates of Learn to Skate throughout the Fall/Winter months. Spring Session - 11 week program that focuses on group and individual skill development. Runs Saturdays - April 9 to June 18. 2:40pm or 4pm depending on level Program concludes with a performance on June 18 $225 (includes team shirt) The Spring Show is open to all registered USFSA members. Skaters may sign up in a solo or small group program. The Spring Show is not included in general club membership fee and is not mandatory. Please see website for more info. Show date: May 22nd at 2:30pm. Tickets are required for all spectators. Cost per skater: Solo $25 Group price per person $15 Theater on Ice Camp is open to figure skaters who passed Basic 4 and above. During this week long camp the skaters are trained to perform and on ice produc on that will take place 3:30pm on Friday July 15th. Lunch is included in the price. 13 Bulls Selects - Spring/Summer Program 2016 The Bulls Selects is a Spring/Summer program for players who want to train & advance during the off season. This program is for serious players willing to put in the me and work to bring their game to the next level. We try to accept every player into the program however there are some instances where we need to cut players from the program (No cuts are made at the Mite level). Register online by March 10. Squirt to Midgets - $100 Deposit Required. Any player offered a spot will not receive a refund. Players not offered a spot in the program will receive an $85 refund. 14 Kings Developmental Program The program is a perfect transi on for players coming out of Learn to Play or also playing Scholas c hockey. The program focuses on developing individual skills as well as teaching hockey concepts to create well rounded players. Players will par cipate in 20 prac ces on Saturdays and play games on Sundays. The program includes: 20 hours of prac ce, jersey, socks, coaching, games, and a year end party. Season Runs: Oct. 10th to Mar. 5th. Open to players born in 2006, 2005, 2004, Price: $599 per player. (Player s must provide USA Hockey Registra on) Youth Spring League The Spring League is great for players to come out and play a weekly game in the Spring. Teams are broken up evenly to create good compe on. No stress, just hockey. The league is open to all birth years 2007 to The league consists of 12-games and a final, games will be played on Saturdays nights and Sunday a ernoons. Evalua on: March 19th at 5:45pm Season Runs: March 19th to June 19th Price: $279 includes jersey (Player s must provide USA Hockey Registra on) If paid in full by February 1st - Recieve an Early Bird discount of $ on 4 Summer Skate The program is set-up to have kids come out once a week to play a game to stretch their legs over the summer while having fun. Each week the teams will be broken up differently. The program includes 5-games and a reversible pinnie. All divisions will be NON CHECK! 15 Skills Clinics All skills clinics require FULL hockey equipment. Squirt Skills This clinic focuses on specific skills and drills that are directly beneficial to Squirt age players based upon Long Term Athlete Development & USA Hockey s A.D.M. Clinic is open to Birth Years: 2007, 2006, 2005 Wednesday Session, 5:40pm-6:30pm (50 min session) March 9, 16, 23, April 6 Cost: $45 Thursday Session, 5:30pm-6:30pm March 10, 17, 24, April 7 (5:45pm-6:45pm) Cost: $60 Do Both Wednesday and Thursday Session for $90 (save $15) Gri y Not Pre y This 16-week program is dedicated to improving a player s physical game. Gri y works on execu ng a check, receiving a check, proper body posi oning, how to win ba les in the corner, puck control under pressure, playing with intensity, safety, and much more. Tuesdays March 8 June 28 (No ice March 29) 6:50pm-7:50pm (March 8th 22nd ) 5:40pm-6:40pm (April 5th June 28th) Price $230 Semi Private Hockey Training Semi Private Lessons create an environment with less distrac ons and more individual a en on. Sessions include 4 weeks of 50 minute lessons. There will be a max of 4 players per coach. The lessons will work on a variety of skills. Sessions run Mondays 4:50pm-5:40pm. Session 1 - March 14, 21, April 4, 11 Session 2 - April 18, 25, May 2, 9 Session 3 - May 16, 23, June 6, 13 Price $160 per session or $450 for all 12 Beginner Power Ska ng Beginner Power Ska ng is a four class clinic that is ideal for A, B, THL, and beginner level players to focus on developing their stride, balance, and ska ng ability. This program is centered on improving a player s ska ng skills, explosion, and pure development. This clinic is a must for all players looking to gear up for evalua ons. 16 Advanced Power Ska ng Advanced Power Ska ng takes a more intricate approach to edge control and the genera on of power in six classes. Advanced Power Ska ng is open to all A, AA and AAA players. B players may a end but will be asked to a end Beginner Power Ska ng first. This clinic will surely give you an edge at evalua ons and the start of the season. Open to Pee Wees, Bantams, and Midget U16s. Clinic Runs: March 15-5:25pm-6:40pm March 16 & 17-6:40pm-7:55pm March 22 at 5:25pm-6:40pm March 23 & 24-6:40pm-7:55pm Price $90 Shoot to Score Shoot to Score is a 5 week puck skills clinic. The clinic works on s ck handling - from dekes, ska ng through traffic, ska ng in open ice, passing: proper techniques on giving a pass, receiving a pass, receiving a pass on the move, and, of course shoo ng to score - how to shoot hard but also accurately. Open to Pee Wees, Bantams, and Midget U16s. March 14, 21, April 4, 11, 18 from 7pm-8:15pm Price $75 Perfect Performance Power Ska ng This 4 week class is for all abili es from beginners to advanced skaters. The class will focus on fine tuning the stride, edge work, while maximizing stride strength, length and power. Open to Pee Wees, Bantams, and Midget U16s. April 25, May 2, 9, 16 from 7pm-8:15pm Price $65 Just Score! This clinic only focuses on one thing, Scoring Goals! We will focus on proper shoo ng technique, shoo ng lanes, high percentage scoring zones, and other tac cs on scoring goals and increasing produc on. Open to Pee Wees, Bantams, and Midget U16s. 17 ADULT HOCKEY PROGRAMS Stampede Adult Instruc onal Team Have you ever wanted to play the game of hockey but aren t quite ready for adult league? Do you play in an adult league now but just aren t sa sfied with your skills? If so, this team is for you. In this program we teach the game of hockey from individual skills, to all out team play. Some main focuses will be: stride techniques, edge control, body mechanics, s ck handling, accurate passing, increased shoo ng accuracy, team systems, defensive posi oning, and break outs. Power Play is offering 2 different sessions of Adult Instruc onal. Each session includes 9 prac ces, 1 game, coaching, and a jersey. All prac ces are 1 hour long. Each session has a cost of $195 or sign up for both for $340. Required Equipment: (Not provided) Hockey Helmet, Elbow Pads, Gloves, Hockey Pants, Shin Pads, S ck. Rental skates are available at no charge. 18 Gray Beard Hockey Gray Beard Hockey is the ho est Adult program at Power Play. Gray Beard is designed for the older more seasoned hockey player. The goal is to allow older players an opportunity to enjoy hockey without the hassle of chasing the younger players. Gray Beard is a pick up style game open to players of most ability. Players are required to purchase a reversible jersey in the pro shop. Every week the teams are changed to keep the games compe ve. All games include one official and a score keeper. No stats are kept, just a night of good hockey. We offer three different sessions of Gray Beard. No walk-ons are permi ed. Players must be paid in full to hold their spot. Players must wear a cage or half shield at the minimum. 19 2016 SUMMER CAMPS June The LAB June 27-July 1 July Theatre July MEGA MITE Best Defense Hockey School addresses the backbone of any team; the defensemen. The focus of this camp is to develop the four main principles of Defense: skating, positioning, puck control, and game situations. Camp includes 3 hours of ice, chalk talk, and dryland daily. Cost $150 July Midget Combine The Combine was created for High School age players looking to train in the off-season with players of the same age and ability. Each day the camp will expose players to a different element of the game. The goal of the camp is for players to understand what lies between them and where they want to be. Camp includes 1 hour and 15 minutes on ice and 1 hour off-ice daily in The Lab. Camp Runs Monday-Thursday. Open to Birth Years. Cost: $165 July August 1 5 Hockey Academy August 8-12 High Performance August 8-12 Kings Training Camp Open to Kings Players only. July 25th week will be open to all Bantam players. August 1st week will be open to all Squirts and Pee Wees. Lunch is included in the price of this camp. Cost: $280 Power Play Hockey Academy focuses on building all around hockey players by combining skill development with game simulation drills. The camp will include 1.25 hrs. of skills and 1.25 hrs. of battle/games on ice daily. The camp will also include 1 hr. of dryland training and 1 hr. of stick skills off ice daily. Camp runs 8:30am-3:30pm. Cost: $280 (Includes Lunch) Power Play Rinks is offering a high level camp open to figure skaters aiming to be elite. 2.5 hours of ice daily, Off-ice Jumps and Spins workshops, Off-ice Conditioning in the Lab TC & Camp Lunch is included in cost.
