Comments: Sailing yacht Chica Pacific is a real classic steel Schooner with a length over all of 23 meter, due to the extended bowsprit and the aftplatform. The hull in only 17 meter! The present owner has bought her two years ago. The owner before the present owner is the one who took care of her. He has used her privately and in all the details you can see that he was a keen sailor who really loves this boat. At the end he spend more then Euro ,00 in his hobby! He has bought her in 2002, has spend lots of money in maintenance, in 2012 a total new paintjob (Awlgrip), teak decks, refit of the mast s and standing rigging etc. Due to some circumstances, she came for sale and the present owner bought her. After this moment, the present owner spend a hugh amount again in the underwatership, motor maintenance, new batteries, deck painted (2018) but he did not use her!! The undersigned have a few recommendations: - check all the seacocks - condition the connection deck and superstructure (rust) to avoid more damage - check the standing rigging and make short sea trials under sail - Service all the winches including winches on mast - Be sure all is working 100% before heading to other destinations. The underwater ship looks very beautifully. New anti fouling and anodes are mounted. About the rigging we want to explain: this boat is not an easy handling sailing boat. Two masts, 4 sails, back stays and a general heavy displacement. It is important to investigate how everything is working before leaving the marina. 28 Chica Pacifica is a large and comfortable classic sailing yacht. She is almost ready for long distance sailing, not fast, but smoothly. With 4 cabins and three bathrooms, a cosy seat for 8 persons under deck and a second steering position at the deckhouse. The hull shape, the type of rigging and the beautiful interior are very attractive. This yacht deserves attention on the technical side. But as soon as everything is working fine, this is a real blue water boat which much comfort and a classic look. A high attention value during entering the harbour.
