BOATS PREVIOUSLY RATED BUT CHANGED: Jim Hoey B-Line 1D35 MOD Base rating for 1D 35 is 33 Added 4.9' sprit & switched to oversized asymmetric spinnaker -9 sec/mi for oversized spinnaker +3 sec/mi for not being able to articulate sprit, +3 sec/mi for small headsail As Sailed: 30 DW Rating: 15 Jonathan Gutoff Stink Eye Laser 28 MOD Boat currently rates 129 with existing modifications. +3 sec/mi for switching to oversized asymmetric spinnaker tacked on 10" sprit. Old Symmetric Spinnaker was also oversized, no major increase in spinnaker area. As Sailed: 132 DW Rating: 129 Trig Liljestrand Ragtime J 90 Mod Base Rating for a J 90 is 48, boat rated 54 with existing modifications (+3 sec/mi for Saildrive, +3 sec/mi for small headsail) New larger mainsail, new smaller asymmetrical spinnaker -3 sec/mi for oversized maingirths -3 sec/mi for increased P +3 sec/mi for smaller asymmetric spinnaker As Sailed: 51 DW Rating: 3 V. BOATS FOR REVIEW/APPEAL: Len Delmas Another Girl Alerion 38 Re-reviewed rating from March meeting Change custom rating to 90. Committee will need to see race results from several races before looking at rating again. As Sailed: 90 DW Rating: 102

4 Drew Harper K6 Rondar K6 This is still an ongoing discussion regarding the K6 and it's place in NCPHRF. Currently the boat does not meet the minimum requirements for a NC PHRF Certificate. Brian Lewis Gavilan Custom Wylie 39 Brian Lewis spoke to the committee for about 10 minutes regarding his boat. After review of race results and boat data the committee adjusted the rating by 12 seconds Change custom rating from 84 to 96 As Sailed: 96 DW Rating: 90 Lani Spund Kokopelli 2 Custom Santa Cruz 52 Written appeal submitted by Scott Easom The Committee reviewed information provided and race results from GGRacer for the past several years (mostly OYRA & YRA race results). Boat finished in the top 3 90% of the time. Appeal denied As Sailed: -45 DW Rating: -60 VI. NEW BUSINESS/FROM THE OFFICE: Phil MacFarlane Wafi Custom Mini Transat 6.5 Similar Custom Mini Transat 6.5's have a com shift for DW Ratings, Wafi most likely needs one as well. Will have Jim Antrim take a look at next meeting he can attend. SF 30's The committee reviewed the SF 30 ratings & race results. Rob Moore researched fleet and spoke to sailors in the fleet After review the committee decided to: Change Base Rating for J 29 7/8 OB to 123 Change Base Rating for Capo 30 to 123 All other ratings in SF 30 group remain the same for now.
