And those whose scales will be light will be the ones who will have incurred loss upon themselves because they had been unjust to Our Revelations. (On that Day it will be asked: "Whose is the Kingdom today?" (The whole universe will cry out: Of Allah, the One, the Omnipotent (It will be said: "Today every living being shall be recompensed for what it has earned: none will be wronged today And Allah is swift at reckoning." O Prophet, warn them of the Day that has approached near, when the hearts will leap up to the throats and the people will he standing mute, grief stricken: the wrongdoers will neither have any kindly friend nor any intercessor who may be listened to. Allah is aware of the treachery of the eyes and even of the secrets that the breasts keep hidden, and Allah will judge with full justice. As for those whom they (the mushriks invoke instead of Allah, they shall judge nothing. Indeed, Allah alone hears everything and sees everything. 4 ي ي Page 3 of 26 These people have not recognized the true worth of Allah as His worth should truly be recognized. (As for His Omnipotence the entire earth on the Day of Resurrection shall be in His grasp and the heavens shall be rolled up in His right hand. Glorified is He and Exalted above what they associate with Him. And the Trumpet shall be blown on that Day and all those who are in the heavens and the earth shall fall down dead except those whom Allah may allow to live. Then the Trumpet shall be blown again and they will all stand up, looking around. The earth will shine forth with the light of her Lord and the conduct book will be laid open, and the Prophets and the witnesses shall be brought in, and the people shall be judged with full justice, and none shall be wronged. And every living being shall be recompensed fully for whatever it had done. Allah knows full well what the people do. ( 22 الحج سورة في ج ن ات الن ع ي م ات م ب ن ه م ف ال ذ ين آم ن وا ع م ل وا الص الح ك يح م ي ذ ي و ل ك الم ين ين م ه ال ذ ين ك ف ر وا ك ذ ب وا ب ا ي ات ن ا ف ا و ل ي ك له م ذ اب The sovereignty on that Day Allah will be that of Allah, and He will judge between them; then those who will have believed and done righteous works, will go to the Gardens of Bliss, but those who will have disbelieved and treated Our Revelations as false, will receive an ignominious punishment. ( 39 الزمر سورة ح ون ك ة ح اف ين م ن ح و ل ال ع ر ش ي س ب ت ر ى الم لا ي 75 ين 75 ب الح ق ق يل الح م د ر ب ال ع الم ين بح م د ر ب ه م ب ن ه م ق ض ي And you will see the angels circling around the Throne, glorifying their Lord with His praises; and the people shall be judged with full justice, and it will be proclaimed: "Praise is for Allah; Lord of the worlds! 5 Page 4 of 26 ( 7 الا اف سورة ش ه د وا أ نف س ه م Criminals evidence against themselves م أ ان وا اف ر ي 37 ن 37 And they will give evidence against themselves that they had indeed denied the truth. ( 6 الا عام سورة آي ا تي م ل ي ك ي ا ت ون نس أ ل م ي ق ص ي س ل م نك م ر س ك م م ي ا م ع ش ر الج ن الا ي اة الد ن ي ا الح أ نف س ن ا غ ر م ذ ا ق ا ل وا ش ه د ن ا ه م ك م و ي ل ق اء ر ون ك م نذ ي ب ك ن ر ي ك ل ك أ ن ل م ذ 130 ن 130 ان وا اف ر ي ين م أ ش ه د وا أ نف س ه م 131 م ه ل ك ال ق ر ى ب ظ ل م أ ه ل ه ا اف ل ون 131 (On that occasion Allah will ask them this question also: "O race of jinn and men, did not the Messengers come to you from among yourselves, who recited My Revelations to you and warned you of the consequences you shall meet with on this Day?" They will reply, "Yes, they did. We bear witness against ourselves. "Today this worldly life has deluded them, but at that time, they will themselves bear witness against their selves that they were disbelievers. (This testimony will be taken from them in order to prove that your Lord would not destroy the habitations unjustly, while their dwellers were ignorant of the Reality. ( 39 الزمر سورة س يق ال ذ ين ك ف ر وا إ لى ج ه ن م ز م ر ا ح تى إ ذ ا ج اؤ وه ا ف ت ح ت أ ب اب ه ا ق ال له م خ ز ن ت ه ا ل م ي ا ت ك م ر س ل أ ا ي ك م آي ات ر ب ك م ي نذ ر ون ك م ل ق اء ي و م ك م ه ذ ذ ل م ي ت ل ون م نك ق يل ال اف ر ي ين ن ب ل ك ن ح ق ت ل م ة ال ع ذ اب ل وا ق ا 72 ال د ين ف يه ا ف ب س م ث ى الم ت ك بر ين ن 72 خ ج ه ن م م ج ه ن ل وا أ ب اب اد خ (After the Judgment those who had disbelieved, shall be driven towards Hell, in groups, till, when they have reached there, its gates will be opened, and its keepers will say to them, "Did not Messengers come to you from among yourselves, who recited to you the Revelations of your Lord, and warned you that you shall have to encounter this Day?" They will reply, "Yes, they did come, but the sentence of punishment proved true against the disbelievers." It will be said, "Enter the gates of Hell, to dwell therein for ever. What an evil abode for the arrogant! " ( 67 الملك سورة ع وا له ا ش ه يق ا أ ل ق وا ف يه ا سم 6 إ ذ ا ه ن م ب س الم ص ير ج ل ل ذ ين ك ف ر وا ب ر ب ه م ذ اب ا ت ك م ن ذ ي ر ه ت ف ور ر 7 ل ق ي ف يه ا ف و ج س ا له م خ ز ن ت ه ا أ ل م ي اد تم ي ز م ن ال غ ي ظ ل م ا أ ت ي نت م إ لا في ض لا ل ل أ ب ق د ج اءن ا ن ذ ير ف ك ذ ب ن ا ق ل ن ا م ا ن ز ل ا م ن ش ي ء إ ن ل وا ق ا 8 ف ا تر ف وا 10 ق ا ل وا ل و ك ن ا ن س م ع أ و ن ع ق ل م ا ك ن ا في أ ص ح اب الس ع ير 10 ك ب ير 9 11 نب ه م ف س ح ق ا لا ص ح اب الس ع ير 11 ذ ب For those who disbelieve in their Lord, there is the torment of Hell, and it is an evil abode. When they are flung into it, they will hear its roaring, and it will be boiling up, as though bursting with rage. Every time a crowd is cast into it, its keepers will ask them, "Did not a warner come to you?" They will (For More Files Please Visit { Page 5

7 Page 6 of 26 answer, "Yes, a warner did come to us, but we belied him and said, `Allah has not sent down anything: you are in grave error'!" And they will add, "Had we only listened or understood, we would not now be among the dwellers of the blazing Fire." Thus will they confess their own sin. Damned be the dwellers of Hell! Then, when the Trumpet will be blown, all (worldly relations between them shall cease to function and they will not inquire about one another. Then only those whose Scales will be heavy, will attain success; and those, whose scales will be light, will be the people who made themselves liable to loss they shall abide in Hell for (For More Files Please Visit { Page 6

8 Page 7 of 26 ever. The "Fire" will scorch their faces so as to expose their jaws. (It will be said to them, "Are you not the same people, who treated as lies My Revelations, when they were recited to you?" They will say, "Our Lord, our bad luck prevailed over us, and we were, indeed, erring people. Our Lord, now take us out of this place: after this, if we be guilty of such a thing, we shall indeed be wrong-doers." In answer to this, Allah will say, "Get away from here, remain herein and do not speak to Me. For, you are the very same people, who made fun of some of Our servants when they prayed to Us, `Our Lord, we have believed: so forgive us and have mercy, on us, for You are the Most Merciful of all who show mercy? So much so that in your obduracy, you even forgot My very existence, and went on scoffing at them. Today I have recompensed them for their fortitude, and they have triumphed over you. Then Allah will inquire from them, "For how many years did you live on the Earth?" They will say, "We stayed there for a day or for part of a day. You may inquire from those who kept account." It will be said, "Well, you know now that you stayed there for a little while only. What a pity! you did not realize it then. Did you think that We had created you without any purpose, and that you would never be brought back to Us?" To those who have disbelieved, it will be proclaimed, on the Day of Resurrection (40 40 غا سورة لى لى إ ق ت ا أ ك بر م ن م ق ت ك م أ نف س ك م إ ذ ت د ع و ن لم ال ذ ين ك ف ر وا ي ن اد و ن إ ن ف ر ون ف ت ك ر ب ن ا أ م ن ا اث ن ت ين أ ح ي ي ن ا اث ن ت ين ف ا تر ف ن ا ق ال وا ان يم يم يم الا إ ذ ا د ع ي ا ح د ك ف ر ت م إ ن ه ب ا ن ذ ل ك م 11 خ ر وج م ن س يل ل 11 ن وب ن ا ف ه ل إ لى ب ذ ال ع ل ي ال ك ب ير م ك ر ك ب ه ت و م ن وا ف الح ي ش To those who have disbelieved, it will be proclaimed, on the Day of Resurrection: "Allah's wrath against you was greater than is your own (For More Files Please Visit { Page 7

9 Page 8 of 26 anger against yourselves today, when you were called to belief and you disbelieved." They will answer, "Our Lord, You indeed gave us death twice and life twice. Now we confess our sins. Is there any way out from here? (They will be answered: "You have incurred this fate because when you were called towards Allah, the One, you refused to believe, and when others were associated with Allah, you readily believed. Now the Judgment rests with Allah, the High, the Great! On that Day, the excuse of the wicked will not avail them anything ( 30 الروم سورة 57 م ي ذ لا ي نف ع ال ذ ين ظ ل م وا م ع ذ ر م لا ه م ي س ت ع ب ون 57 ف ي و So, on that Day, the excuse of the wicked will not avail them anything, nor will they be asked to seek forgiveness. (66 66 الت يم سورة ا تج ز و ن أ ي ه ا ال ذ ين ك ف ر وا لا ت ع ت ذ ر وا ال ي و م إ نم ي ا 7 ا ك ت م ت ع م ل ون م (At that time it will be said: "O disbelievers, do not make excuses today. You are being recompensed only for what you were doing. (40 40 غا سورة م م ي و ل نص ر ر س ل ن ا ال ذ ين آم ن وا في الح ي اة الد ن ي ا ي و م ي ق وم الا ش ه اد د ا إ ن 52 ع الظ الم ين م ع ذ ر م له م الل ع ن ة له م س وء الد ا ر 52 ي نف لا لا لا لا Believe it that We do help Our Messengers and the Believers in the life of this world, and so shall We help them on that Day also when the witnesses shall stand up, and the excuses of the wrongdoers shall not avail them anything. ( 89 الفجر سورة ي ا ي ق ول أ نى ل ه الذ ك ر ى ج يء ي و م ي ذ بج ه ن م ي و م ي ذ ي ت ذ ك ر الا نس ان لا د اب ه أ ح د ذ م ي ذ لا ي ع ذ ب ف ي و ي اتي تي ق د م ت لح ل ي ني 26 د ث اق ه أ ح د Would that we had obeyed Allah and His Messenger! ي وث ق ق And Hell on that Day is brought within sight, on that Day will man understand, but what will that understanding avail him then? He will say, "Would that I had provided in advance for this life of mine!" Then none can punish as Allah will punish on that Day, and none can bind as Allah will bind. ( 33 الا حزاب سورة ل د ين ف يه ا أ ب د ا لا يج د ون خ ا 64 ا ل ع ن ال اف ر ين أ د له م س ع ير ا 64 إ ن ل ي ن ا أ ط ع ن ا ي ا م ت ق ل ب و ج وه ه م في الن ار ي ق ول ون ي و 65 ل ي ا لا ن ص ير ا 65 أ ط ع ن ا س اد ت ن ا ك بر اءن ا ف ا ض ل ون ا ا ق ا ل وا ر ب ن ا إ ن س و لا الر أ ط ع ن ا ا 68 ب ن ا آ م ض ع ف ين م ن ال ع ذ اب ال ع ن ه م ل ع ن ا ك ب ير ا 68 ر 67 يلا لا 67 الس It is certain that Allah has laid curse on the disbelievers and has prepared for them a blazing Fire, in which they will live for ever and will have no protector and helper. 11 Page 10 of 26 rolled about on the Fire, they will say, "Would that we had obeyed Allah and His Messenger!" And (they will say, "Our Lord, we obeyed our chiefs and our great men, and they led us astray from the right path. Lord, give them a double chastisement and curse them severely. النساء (4 سورة ذ م ي ذ ي و و لاء ش ه يد ا ه ي ف إ ذ ا ج ن ا م ن ل أم ة ب ش ه يد ج ن ا ب ك ف ك د ال ذ ين ك ف ر وا ع ص و ا الر س ول ل و ت س و ى ب ه م الا ر ض لا ي ك ت م ون ي 42 يث ا 42 ح د ا Just imagine how they will fare, when We will bring forward a witness from every community and raise you (O Muhammad as a witness in regard to these people. At that time, all those, who rejected the Messenger and disobeyed him, would wish the earth to split open and swallow them; for there they will not be able to hide anything from Allah. 12 Page 11 of 26 نس ان ل لا ي ط ان الش أ ض ل ني ع ن الذ ك ر ب ع د إ ذ ج اءني ان ل ق د ب إ ن ق ال الر س ول ي ا ر ذ و ولا لا خ م ه ج ور ا م ي اتخ ذ وا ه ذ ا ال ق ر آن ق و The Day, when they will see the angels, will not be a day of rejoicing for the criminals; they will cry out, "May Allah save us!" Then We will turn to what they had done and render it vain like scattered dust. (On the contrary only those who have deserved the Garden, will have a good abode on that Day and a cool place for midday rest. On that Day, a cloud will appear rending the sky and the angels will be sent down rank after rank. The real Kingdom on that Day will belong only to the Merciful, and it will be a very hard Day for the disbelievers. The unjust man will bite at his hand and say, "Would that I had stood by the Messenger! O, woe to me! Would that I had not chosen so and so for a friend! For it was he, who had deluded me to reject the Admonition which had come to me. Satan has proved very treacherous to man." And the Messenger will say, "O my Lord, my people had made this Qur'an the object of their ridicule. (43 الز ف سورة م م إ الر حم ن ن ق ي ض ل ه ش ي ط ان ا ف ه ل ه ق ر ي ن ذ ك ر ع ن م ن ي ع ش اءن ا ق ال ي ا م م ه ت د ون إ ذ ا ج ح تى أ د و م ع ن الس يل يح س ب ون ل ي ص ل ن ي نف ع ك م ال ي و م إ ذ 38 ب ني ب ن ك ب ع د الم ش ر ق ين ف ب س ال ق ر ي ين ن 38 ل ي ت م في ك ل م ت م أ ن ظ اب م ش تر ك ون ال ع ذ He who does not heed the admonition (or blindly turns away from the remembrance of the Merciful, We set a satan (devil upon him, and he becomes his companion. These satans hinder such people from the right way while they think that they are guided (For More Files Please Visit { 11

Ultimately, when he comes to Us, he will say to his satan companion, "would that between me and you there were the distance of the East and the West: you turned out to be a most evil companion." Then it will be said to them, "When you have done wrong, it will avail you nothing today as you and your satans are partners in the same torment. (43 الز ف سورة ع ن ه م ه م ف يه ه ي ف تر لا الم ج ر م ين في ذ اب ج ه ن م خ ا ل د ون إ ن ن اد و ا ي ا 76 م ا ظ ل م ن اه م ل ك ن ان وا ه م الظ الم ين ين ب ل س ون 75 م ج ن ا ك م ب الح ق ل ق د ك ك م ا ك ث ون ل ي ق ض ل ن ا ر ب ك ق ال إ ن م ل ك م ا 78 ل ك ن أ ك ث ر ك م ل ل ح ق ار ه ون 78 As for the criminals, they shall endure for ever the torment of Hell; their punishment will never be lightened for them, and there they shall remain, despairing. We did not wrong them, but they themselves were the wrongdoers. They will call out, "O Malik (Keeper of Hell let your Lord put an end to us!" He will answer, "Here you must remain! We had brought the Truth to you, but most of you abhor the Truth. Would that we could somehow return to the earthly life again! 14 Page 13 of 26 At last, when they see the torment, they will repent in their hearts, and We shall put fetters on the necks of the disbelievers. Can the people be requited except in accordance with their deeds? ( 7 الا اف سورة م ق و ل م ه د ى ر حم ة ل ل ق د ج ن اه م ب ك ت اب ف ص ل ن ا م ن ون ي و ت ا و يل ه ي و م ي ا تي ت ا و يل ه ي ق ول ال ذ ين ن س و م ن ق ب ل ق د ج اء ت إ لا ل ي نظ ر ون ه س ل ر ب ن ا ب الح ق ف ه ل ل ن ا م ن ش ف ع اء ف ي ش ف ع وا ل ن ا أ و ن ر د ف ن ع م ل ير ال ذ ي ك ن ا ر ل ق د خ س ر وا أ نف س ه م ض ل ن ع م م م ا ان وا ي ف تر ون ع ن ه We have brought to these people a Book which gives details based on knowledge and which is a guidance and blessing for those who believe. Now, are these people waiting for anything other than the consequence (of which they have been warned in this Book? When the consequence will come before them, those very people who afore time had disregarded it, will say, "Indeed, the Messengers of our Lord had come with the Truth. Shall we have, then, any intercessors who will intercede for us? Or could we be sent back that we might do deeds different from those we did before?" They have, indeed, incurred heavy loss upon themselves and all the false things they had invented have forsaken them today. They will say, "Would that we could somehow return to the earthly life again: then we would not deny the Signs of our Lord, and would join the Believers." As a matter of fact, they will say this because the Reality which they had concealed before this, will have appeared manifest before them. But the fact is that even if they were sent back to the earthly life, they would do all that they had been forbidden to do. They are liars. Today they say, "There is no other life than this our worldly life, and we shall never be raised back to life after our death." Would that you could witness the scene, when they will be brought before their Lord: then their Lord will ask them, "Is this not the Reality?" They will say, "Yes, our Lord, this is the Reality." Then He will declare, "Well, taste the torment for denying this Reality. At that time those who had believed, will say, "The real losers indeed are those who have lost themselves and their followers on this Resurrection Day." Beware! The wrongdoers shall suffer an everlasting torment, and they will have no protectors and guardians, who could come to their help against Allah. The one whom Allah lets go astray has no way of escape. Answer your Lord before there comes the Day of which there is no chance of being averted by Allah. On that Day you will have no place of refuge, nor will there be any who could change your condition. Are they of any help to you, or even to themselves?" Then these deities and those erring people, and the hosts of Satan, all will be hurled into it, one upon the other. We had certainly strayed when we held you equal in rank with the Lord of the worlds, and they were criminals indeed who led us astray. Now we have neither any intercessor nor any true friend. Would that we were given a chance to return (to the world so that we became believers. Would that these transgressors could realize now what they will realize, when they will see the chastisement before them that power and authority wholly belong to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment! When He will inflict punishment, those very leaders and guides whom they followed in the world will disown them. But punishment they shall get and all their bonds shall be cut off. Then those who followed them will say, "Would that we were given another chance to return to the world: then we will disown them just as they have disowned us today. 18 Page 17 of 26 Thus will Allah bring before them the deeds they did in the world in such a manner as to make them wring their hands in regret but they shall be unable to come out of the Fire. Thus do We requite every disbeliever. There they will cry out and say, "Our Lord, take us out from here so that we may do good works other than those which we had been doing." (The reply will be "Did We not give you lives long enough so that he who would, could take a warning? And the warner also had come to you. Now taste (the torment. They will answer, "Our Lord, You indeed gave us death twice and life twice. Now we confess our sins. Is there any way out from here? (They will be answered: "You have incurred this fate because when you were called towards Allah, the One, you refused to believe, and when others were associated with Allah, you readily believed. Now the Judgment rests with Allah, the High, the Great!" So, taste now the recompense of your having forgotten the meeting of this Day. We, too, have forgotten you now! But you showed arrogance and became criminals. And when it was said, Allah's promise is true and there is no doubt about the coming of Resurrection, you used to say, We do not know what Resurrection is: we do only guess: we are not certain. The evils of their deeds then will become manifest to them and they will be encompassed by the same that they used to mock. It will be said to them, "We will today forget you even as you yourselves had forgotten the meeting of this Day. Your abode now is Hell and there is none to help you. ( 7 الا اف سورة ف يض وا ل ن ا م ن الم اء أ و مم ا ر ز ق ك م م أ ن ة أ ن الج أ ص ح اب الن ار ن اد ى أ ص ح اب ين اتخ ذ وا د ين ه م له و ا ال ذ ن ي ال اف اف ر ر ق ا ل وا إ ن ا ح ر م ه م ا ا ل ع ب ا غ ر م الح ي اة الد ن ي ا ف ا ل ي و م ن س اه م ك م ا ن س وا ل ق اء ي و م ه م ه ذ ا م ا ان وا 51 يج ح د ون 51 ب ا ي ات ن ا And the inmates of Hell will cry out to the inmates of Paradise: "Pour upon us a little water or throw down a bit of the provisions Allah has bestowed upon you." They will reply, "Allah has forbidden both the things to the disbelievers, who had made their religion a pastime, sport and enjoyment, and who had been deluded by the worldly life. Allah says. `Today We will forget them just as they forgot the meeting of this Day and rejected Our Revelations. And the disbeliever will cry out: "Would that I were mere dust! ( 78 النبا سورة ي ق ول أ نذ ر ن ا ك م ذ اب ا ق ر يب ا ي و م ي نظ ر الم ر ء م ا ق د م ت ي د ا ا إ ن 40 ت ر اب ا 40 ك نت ل ي ني اف ر ي ا ال We have warned you of the torment which is near at hand. 22 Page 21 of 26 They will say, We stayed there for a day or for part of a day ( 10 يونس سورة ي و م يح ش ر ه م ا ن ل م ي ل ث وا إ لا س اع ة م ن الن ه ار ي ت ع ار ف ون 45 س ر ال ذ ين ك ذ ب وا ب ل ق اء ا م ا ان وا م ه ت د ي ين ن 45 خ د م ق د ب ن ه (Today these people are intoxicated with the life of this world but on the Day when Allah will gather them they will feel as if they had stayed (in this world for only an hour or so in order to have acquaintance with one another. (At that time they will realize that they who disbelieved in their meeting with Allah were losers indeed and were not rightly guided. ( 30 الروم سورة ان وا ا ل ث وا ير س اع ة ك ذ ل ك م ي و م ت ق وم الس اع ة ي ق س م الم ج ر م ون ك ت اب ب ل ب ت م في ل ق د ق ال ال ذ ين أ وت وا ال ع ل م الا يم ان 55 ف ك ون 55 ي و م ال ب ع ث ل ك ن ك م ك ت م لا ت ع ل م ون و إ لى ي و م ال ب ع ث ف ه ذ ا ي ا 57 م ي ذ لا ي نف ع ال ذ ين ظ ل م وا م ع ذ ر م لا ه م ي س ت ع ب ون 57 ف ي و And when the Hour is established, the criminals will swear that they had not stayed for more than an hour; thus they used to be deceived in their worldly life. 23 Page 22 of 26 knowledge and faith, will say, "You have stayed, according to the book of Allah, till the Day of Resurrection: so this is the same Day of Resurrection, but you did not know." So, on that Day, the excuse of the wicked will not avail them anything, nor will they be asked to seek forgiveness. We know full well what they will be talking; (We also know that at that time the most careful estimator among them will say, "No, your life on the Earth was but for a day. They ask you, "Well, where will the mountains go on that Day?" Say to them, "My Lord will reduce them to fine dust and scatter it away. He will turn the Earth into an empty level plain, wherein you will neither see any curve nor crease." On that Day the people will come straight to the call of the summoner; no one will dare show any haughtiness, and all the voices will be hushed before the Merciful and you will hear (For More Files Please Visit { 22

On that Day no intercession will avail except the one for whom the most Merciful has given permission (to intercede and be pleased to give him a hearing. He is fully aware of all that is before the people and of all that is behind them but others do not have full knowledge of it. ( 79 النازعات سورة إ لى لى 43 يم أ نت م ن ذ ك ر اه ا 43 ف ر س اه ا م ا ل ون ك ع ن الس اع ة أ ي ان ي س م م ي ر ا ل م و ي و م ا ا أ نت م نذ ر م ن يخ ش اه ا إ نم 44 ب ك م ت ه اه ا 44 ر 46 إ لا ع ش ي ة أ و ض ح اه ا 46 ي ل ث وا They ask you, "When will the Hour come to stay?" (But it is not for you to tell its time. Its knowledge rests only with your Lord. You are only a warner to him who fears it. The day these people see it, they will feel as though they had stayed (in the world or in the state of death only for the afternoon of a day or its forenoon. Then, when the Trumpet will be blown, all (worldly relations between them shall cease to function and they will not inquire about one another. Then only those whose Scales will be heavy, will attain success; and those, whose scales will be light, will be the people who made themselves liable to loss they shall abide in Hell for ever. The "Fire" will scorch their faces so as to expose their jaws. (It will be said to them, "Are you not the same people, who treated as lies My Revelations, when they were recited to you?" They will say, "Our Lord, our bad luck prevailed over us, and we were, indeed, erring people. Our Lord, now take us out of this place: after this, if we be guilty of such a thing, we shall indeed be wrong-doers." In answer to this, Allah will say, "Get away from here, remain herein and do not speak to Me. For, you are the very same people, who made fun of some of Our servants when they prayed to Us, `Our Lord, we have believed: so forgive us and have mercy, on us, for You are the Most Merciful of all who show mercy? So much so that in your obduracy, you even forgot My very existence, and went on scoffing at them. Today I have recompensed them for their fortitude, and they have triumphed over you. Then Allah will inquire from them, "For how many years did you live on the Earth?" They will say, "We stayed there for a day or for part of a day. You may inquire from those who kept account."
