1 Welcome Aboard! Thank you for your reservation deposit. We look forward to making your charter with Annapolis Bay Charters enjoyable and worry free. Please take a moment to carefully review and sign the Charter Agreement to confirm that all of the information is accurate and complete. Please make sure all necessary charter documents are filled out and returned to us prior to the start of your charter. We will call you if we have questions or need additional information. Balance Payment/Boarding Appointment The balance is due 45 days prior to the start of your charter. If you wish to pay by check, the check must be received in this office no less than 45 days prior to the start of your charter. A security deposit as specified on the schedule of security deposits will be collected at check in by verifying a credit card, cash, or traveler s check. Yacht Locations Most Annapolis Bay Charters yachts are located on Back Creek at Port Annapolis Marina. Enclosed you will find a map and directions to the marina at which your yacht is located. Early Boarding (Sleepaboard) If you are scheduled to early board your yacht, you may arrive at the office as early as 4:00pm. Early boarding charterers may receive their briefing that afternoon, however this is not guaranteed. We understand you are anxious to get underway and will complete checkout as expeditiously as possible the following morning. Boarding after 5:00pm may not be assisted by an ABC staff member. A note will be left on the office door letting you know where your yacht is located. The yacht will be unlocked and ready for you to board. A staff member will greet you at your slip the following morning, or you may come to the office after 8:30 to check in. Departure from the slip on early boarding day is prohibited. No exceptions. Please Note If you plan to remain and/or return to your boat s slip at any point during your charter please inform the dockmaster & ABC of your intentions at the commencement of your charter. If you do not, your slip may be rented to a transient boater. Charter Agreement must stay on board at all times during your charter

2 BOOKING POLICIES Charter Length: 2 day minimum. Charters begin at 8:30am and end at 5pm, except Mid-Week specials, which end on Friday at noon. Linens & Prep: Sheets & Towels are provided on each boat, based on 2 people per berth. Please let your agent know if more are needed. Boats are prepped with the following starting items: toilet paper per head, paper towels, garbage bag, tea towel, hand soap, liquid soap, sponge, and spray cleaner. Mid-Week Special: Monday noon through Friday noon. Mid-Week Special charters may not be scheduled during weeks and weekends that include a holiday or during the Annapolis Boat Show. Sleepaboards: Sleepaboard/Early Boarding is available. You may sleep aboard the night before your charter begins for a fee of $150. You may arrive as early as 4pm that night, and your checkout will begin at 8:30am the following morning. Departure from your slip on the early boarding day is prohibited. Discounts: All past charter guests will receive a 5% repeat charter discount. Subsequent charters by the same skipper, on the same boat, in the same season, receive a 10% discount. Maximum discount for all charters on holiday & boat show weekends is 5%. Discounts are not cumulative. Group Rates: A group consists of 3 or more boats and will receive a 10% discount, 5% during holidays & boat show. Groups do not qualify for same season discounts. Discounts are not cumulative. Reservation Deposit/Cancellation Policy: A reservation deposit of 25% of the charter fee (or $500 if less) per yacht is required to secure your charter. The balance is due 45 days prior to the start of the charter. If the charter is cancelled more than 90 days prior to your departure date, then your deposit if fully refundable. If between 89 days and 45 days prior to the charter start, a fee of $100 will be charged for boats 29 to 39 and $150 for yachts 40 to 50 and all catamarans. If the charter is cancelled between days prior to the charter s inception, a cancellation fee of $500 (loss of deposit) for all yachts will be charged. If a charter is cancelled 14 days or less prior to departure, there will be no refund. There will be a $50 rescheduling fee if the charterer elects to move the charter in lieu of cancellation; this is subject to availability of another similar yacht and must be more than 15 days prior to departure. No charters will be cancelled or rescheduled due to inclement weather or rain. However, if a named windstorm occurs rescheduling is permitted at no charge. Security Deposit: The charterer is required to leave a refundable security deposit with a credit card, cash, or traveler s check for $1,500 and $4000 for the Lagoon 52. Travel Insurance: Is available on request for all ABC charters and must be secured before the final payment is due. Please inquire for details. Hull Damage Waiver: The charterer is required to pay a non-refundable Hull Damage Waiver (HDW) in the amount of $35 per day, not to exceed $490 (14 days). The HDW is to protect the charterer against losses incurred in excess of their security deposit. Dinghies: Dinghies with outboard motors are available for rental; please consult your friendly reservation charter specialist for rates. Qualifications: The Skipper is required to complete a Sailing Resume showing adequate experience. This is subject to the approval by Annapolis Bay Charters. For those not qualified to bareboat charter, a Licensed Captain or Instructor may be required for part or all of the charter

3 Licensed Captains: Fees are $250 per full-day (8 hours). $125 per half-day (4 hours). $50 per hour for additional hours. Captains are not ABC employees, however we will assist in arranging for a USCG certified Captain for your charter. Please inquire for details. Charter Guidelines: Sailing is prohibited after dark. No smoking below deck. No pets permitted on board. Charterer is responsible for re-fueling and pump-out at the end of the charter. Helpful Information PROVISIONING: This can easily be done yourself at the Giant Foods grocery store located in the shopping center at the corner of Edgewood Rd & Bay Ridge Rd. Hours are: Mon-Sat 6am-midnight, Sun 7am-11pm. They also have a pharmacy inside the store, hours are 9am-7pm. Pharmacy phone # is Bay Forest Wine & Spirits is located in the same shopping center or for a larger selection, Bay Ridge Wine & Sprits is located in the Bay Ridge Plaza at the corner of Forest Dive & Hillsmere Rd (near the West Marine). Delivery provisioning can be arranged by the local grocery stores Giant, or Safeway, This will be a private transaction between you and the store, so be sure to arrange your delivery time so that someone from your party is able to meet them. BOATING SUPPLIES: For boating incidentals or foul weather gear, West Marine is conveniently located in the Bay Ridge Plaza at the corner of Forest Drive and Hillsmere Rd, as well as Fawcett Boat Supplies on Forest Drive. DINING OUT IN ANNAPOLIS: There are many great restaurants in Annapolis.. You ll find most places pretty crowded, but worth the wait. A few of our favorites (off the beaten path) include: Sam s on the Waterfront located off Edgewood Road in the Chesapeake Harbor Marina. The Ebb Tide casual, local bar with great burgers. Drive out Edgewood Rd and turn left at the light (near Giant), and it s just on your right. Davis Pub A local hang-out, cheap food, cheap drinks (by Annapolis standards), and good fun. Outdoor seating, and ok for kids during the dining hours. 400 Chester Ave. across from Mear s Marina in Eastport. Adam s Ribs Excellent barbeque, reasonable prices. Located in the Eastport Shopping Center on Bay Ridge Ave. They also offer take-out service. Squisitos Pizza & Pasta decent family Italian fare. Located in the Eastport Shopping Center on Bay Ridge Ave. Roco s great pizza & subs. Located in the Giant shopping center Lewnes Just about the best steak you ll ever eat. Pricey, but worth it. Reservations are suggested, especially on weekends , th St (at Severn Ave) Eastport. Ram s Head Tavern food is excellent, but they re known for their extensive collection of draft and bottled beers from around the world. Located at 33 West St. just off Church Circle downtown. Reservations suggested, especially on weekends Joss THE place for sushi, located 195 Main St. in Annapolis Cantler s Maryland Blue Crabs the way they re supposed to be. Rt 50 east to exit 29A. (Burchs Frontage Rd.) right on St. Margaret s Rd. left on Brown s Woods Rd., right at the Y to Forest Beach Rd. 485 Forest Beach Rd (worth the trip). Parking is limited in downtown Annapolis around the city dock. It may be simpler and more enjoyable to call the water taxi to pick you up at the marina (about $4 per person each way). Baltimore Washington Airport (BWI) is about a 40 min. drive from our location. For transportation, call The Airport Shuttle or visit them online at Their rates are less than taxicabs and they ll take you right to your yacht. They can also transport you from Dulles Airport and Reagan National. Please feel free to call the ABC office if you need any additional information regarding the area

4 DIRECTIONS ANNAPOLIS BAY CHARTERS IS LOCATED AT PORT ANNAPOLIS MARINA Our office and fleet are located at Port Annapolis Marina on Back Creek in Annapolis, Maryland. Back Creek is one creek east of the Annapolis Harbor/City Dock area. The marina has plenty of parking, a good-sized bathhouse, and a great sandwich shop called the Portside Cafe that is open for breakfast & lunch. DIRECTIONS: Driving SOUTH from New Jersey/Pennsylvania, follow I-95 South to Baltimore, then I-695 East toward Glen Burnie, then I-97 South toward Annapolis and Route 50 East and follow directions below. Driving EAST from Washington D.C. take Route 50 and follow the directions below. Driving WEST from Delaware/Maryland Eastern Shore take Route 50/301 West to the Bay Bridge and follow the directions below. Once on Route 50 take Exit #22 - Route 665/Aris T. Allen Blvd. Stay in the left lane and follow 1.8 miles to the traffic light at Forest Drive & Chinquapin Round. STAY STRAIGHT through intersection and the road becomes Forest Drive (east), go approximately 3.5 miles and road becomes Bay Ridge Road, stay straight. Remain in the left lane. Bay Forest Shopping Center (GIANT SUPERMARKET) will be on the left. After the shopping center, turn left at the light on Edgewood Road. Follow Edgewood Road for 1.5 mile to Port Annapolis Marina. Turn left into the marina and we are the 2 nd building on the right, top floor. Entrance is on the side facing the gray building (pool house) towards the water
