3 1- Welcome to Vilamoura This manual contains basic instructions and information to help you successfully navigate the Venue of the 2018 Snipe Worlds Master Championship. We have worked hard to make your experience during the event a positive one. Please refer to the detailed Venue Map located at the end of this document to locate the various Zones referenced throughout. 2- General information Upon your arrival, please check-in with our Staff in the Race Office (Zone 1). This is the area for accreditation, registration and general information. The Race Office is open daily from 08:00 am to 18:00 from June 20, GPS , The Social areas are located in Zones 3, 5, 6 and 7. In zone 3 (in Food Court) you will find a coffee shop, as well as the nautical shops that have selected gear you may require during the Event. Additional relevant areas The Official Notice Board is located in Zone 1. The Jury Rooms are located in Zone 1. Medical assistance and ambulance are located in Zone 3. We have a 24-hour emergency number to be used if you require urgent assistance. Please don t hesitate to contact us anytime at: EMERGENCY Mobile: Arrival at the venue Go to GPS point , Please proceed to the south entrance of the Venue in Zone B. Our 24 hours Staff located there will give you instructions regarding where to park your vehicle and how to proceed to the Race Office. In the eventuality that you arrive in Vilamoura outside of our Race Office working hours (08:00 to 18:00PM), and if you require any assistance we kindly ask that you to contact us via the following number: RACE OFFICE:

4 4 -Accreditation Access to some areas of our Venue is restricted, accreditation is required. Sailors, supporters and families will need an accreditation badge that must be shown to security personnel upon arrival each day and worn at all times. Without the official accreditation, you will not be allowed to enter some areas. Each team will be permitted to register a maximum of 1 van/car and 1 trailer. Restricted areas are: Boat and Trailer Park Zone 3, Car Park Zones 8 and 9 To have access to the social events you will be required the badge and an invitation To obtain your accreditation badge please go to the station located in the Race Office Zone 1 during the operation daily hours (08:00 18:00h) when you initially arrive. GPS Point , Please bring the following items with you to pick up your accreditation: 1. Passport 2. Vehicle and trailer license plate numbers Our staff will have your accreditation badges ready for you, so this process will only take a few minutes. Loading and unloading your Van/Trailer: Only accredited vehicles can access Boat Park. There is a limit of one hour to unload your car and trailer. Our staff will show you the parking area where you may leave your trailer and van after finished unloading. 5 - Meals On the food court, you will find real and nutritious meals, made with natural ingredients, with no additives. Breakfast, Lunch packs, snacks, and drinks will be available at the Food Court located in ZONE 3 from the 21 st to 30 th June. The food court is managed by our partner Massive Roots. All the lunch packs must be pre-ordered on the day before and can be picked up daily from 10.00am to 11.00am, on the food court. For pre-orders send them an to: poliveira@massiveroots.pt or you can pre-order directly at the food court, during the event. Food court timetable: 9.00am to 17.00pm Lunch Pack delivery: 10:00 am 11:00 am (available only by pre-order) Drinking Water: Vilamoura can be a warm place during summer time; therefore, drinking plenty of water is essential to maintain good levels of hydration. All of our food packaging is eco-friendly (made from plants, no plastic!).

5 6 The Venue Boat Park -The Snipe Boat Park is located inside the Marina of Vilamoura in Zone 3. Boat designated area When not sailing all Snipes must stay in their designated area except during loading and unloading procedures, measurement, and leaving/returning via the slipway. Slipway - The Snipe slipway is located in Zone 2. Measurement area The measurement area is in Zone 4, across the boat park Fresh Water - Water to wash your Snipes is available from hoses at the boat park. We kindly ask you to help us to save water. Coach Boat Pier Coach/support boats will be moored in Pier R (Zone 12) in the Marina. We will provide a Water Shuttle to/from the pier from Zone 11. Boat Park Tent We have set up a tent inside the Boat Park located in Zone 3 for your convenience. In this tent, you will have: - Food Court Massive Roots - Skipper meetings Parking for accredited vehicles - After unloading (see Section 4 above) accredited vehicles may park in the designated areas located in Zone 8, limited free parking available. Public parking available Zone 9, 300 meters from Boat park entrance (point A) 8- SNIPE CHARTER We have provided an adequate area for the charter service providers, inside the boat park, in order to make the all experience and service easier. 9- SOCIAL AND GUEST FACILITIES Guest and Family Lounge(s) The lounges for guests and families are available with food and drink service in: Tent Lounge: Massive Roots Zone 3 Restaurant and Bar: Soul Moments Zone 5 Restaurant: THAI Beach Club Zone 7 We have prepared an extensive social agenda with daily events. All events access requires badge and invitation. Invitations will be given to competitors in registration. For supporter s access to social events will be made available on demand, in the race office, or consult us via snipeworldmasters2018@companhianautica.com
