Gennakers & Spinnakers are available only for charters from/to Athens. Damage/loss waiver : The service is available only with an additional reduced refundable security deposit of 300. If the repair takes more than 1 day, we will provide you with a similar boat or compensate you on a pro rata basis. In case of emergency you can rely on our hotline, at any time, 7 days a week. Yachts quoted as plus expenses means that the Charterer will be charged, at cost, for all other expenses. These expenses include but are not limited to food and beverages for the charter guests, fuel for the yacht and auxiliary craft(s) and water toys, berthing fees, harbor and pilot fees, customs charges, divers' fees where required, communication charges, VAT, taxes, communications, guestlaundry, shore-side electricity and water, onshore transfers and tours and anything else not specifically included in the charter fee. APA(Advance Provisioning Allowance): In crewed charters, the Charterer pays upfront an estimated amount for these expenses, thisisthen forwarded to the Captain who will be responsible for making all payments as necessary, accounting of Charterer s expenses, advising the latter periodically as to the disbursement of the APAand providing at the end of the charter a breakdown with as many receipts as possible. The amount provided up front for such expenses is called Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), it is collected withthe last payment before the charter and its purpose is to enhance the level of services rendered, by allowing the Charterer to remain un-distracted by day to day expenses. Deductions from APA represent expenses accrued and paid for from APA. Being an estimated allowance, APA is usually calculated at between 25 and 30% of the charter fee depending on the yacht specifics and the charter location. The final, actual expenses accrued may be more or less depending on Charterer s individual requirements. Should the Charterer spend more than their estimated expense allowance, additional payment will be required during their charter and under all circumstances the Charterer must settle all accounts in cash before disembarking at the end of the charter. Conversely, any unspent APA will be refunded to the Charterer at the end of the charter. VAT: As stipulated by Greek Law, Value Added Tax is collected by the Owner at the expense of the Charterer. The Charterer shall at all times be liable to pay for the VAT amount applicable by Law at the time the charter is executed. Currently VAT rate applicable on total charter fee is 24% for charters of up to 48 hours duration and 12% for charters of more than 48 hours duration. The VAT rates mentioned herein are the ones applicable by current tax legislation valid to this date and subject to change without prior notice or responsibility on the Broker, the Stakeholder or the Owner. 61 General Terms & Conditions of Bare Boat Season Booking Process Options are placed after specific offers and are usually held for one week. Bookings are valid only when the contracts are sent back with the signature of both the agency and the charterer. Nautica Charters or the yacht owner has any legal right to cancel the booking if the payments are not received according the contract terms and conditions. Upon receipt of the Booking Confirmation, we will issue a Charter Contract and send you the invoice accordingly. Within 15 days from the date of confirmation we require advance payment of 50%, Five weeks before clients departure we require full payment along with crew list and at least one (1) copy of Sailing License. Charter rate also includes bed sheets & towels (face/body) one set per person, the outboard engine, fill for outboard engine, spare bottle of gas, and first & last night in the marina. Other payments like embarkation pack fees, skipper fees, transfer fees, etc. are paid upon embarkation and only in cash or along with the balance payment. Embarkation - Disembarkation Charters usually commence on Saturdays at 17:00 hours and finish on Saturdays at 09:00 hours (Friday 18:00 return to marina, plus overnight). Other days of the week are possible upon request. Our base managers will receive the refundable Guarantee Deposit either in Cash or by Visa/MasterCard/AMEX (no other type of credit card is accepted), as per our price list, upon embarkation. The Non Refundable deposits are paid in cash. Personal checks are not accepted. Every payment that is due on spot has to be paid before the charter starts. The refundable deposit for monohull yachts up to 37 feet is 1,500, for up to 45 feet is 2,000, for up to 49 feet is 2,500, for up to 54 feet is 3,000 and for up to 60 feet is For catamarans up to 42 feet is 3,000 and for those up to 48 feet is 3,500. Security deposits may differ in several models. In cases of payment through credit card, 2.5% cost extra will be granted due to bank charges. Transfers from Airport to base can be arranged upon request. Prices depend the distance price list will be available approx. on April 1st, Food provisioning - Hotel Reservations Car Rental Local Flight Tickets Ferry Tickets can also be arranged upon request. Documentation A booking is confirmed and secured only by signing either the invoice or the contract that you receive. In case of bareboat charter there must be at least one skipper-licensed crewmember on board. Copy of the licenses along with crew list and passport numbers are required 15 days before embarkation, otherwise charter documentation will be made upon delivery. Cancellation Policy For bookings cancelled more than 60 days before embarkation, 30% of the charter price is retained. For bookings cancelled days before embarkation, 50% of the charter price is retained. For bookings cancelled 29-1 day before embarkation, 100% of the charter price is retained. In case of a booking under the same conditions over a cancelled charter, Nautica Charters guarantees full refund of the charter fee minus 250 that occurs to administration costs. Nautica Charters only accepts remarks and notes stated on the Inventory, Delivery and Redelivery forms which are signed upon embarkation and disembarkation. Claims are valid and negotiable within 30 days after disembarkation. It also includes the end cleaning of the yacht and the first night at the starting marina in case of overnight.
