ORGANIZING AUTHORITY Hellenic Sailing Federation, Municipality of Kallithea 2. RULES The event will be governed by : o The Racing Rules of Sailing (ISAF). o No National Authority prescriptions will apply for the Athens Eurolymp Events o The Class rules (unless otherwise modified by this Notice of Race and the Sailing Instructions). o The HSF 2016 racing programme concerning National Championships. o This Notice of Race. o The Sailing Instructions. o All competitors will be required to wear an adequate personal floatation device at all times while afloat, except briefly while changing or adjusting clothing or personal equipment. o If there is a conflict between languages the English text will take precedence. 3. ADVERTISING The ISAF Advertising Regulation 20 shall apply. Boats may be required to display a bow number and advertisement of the event sponsor on either side on the forward 25% of the hull. Sailboards may be required to display such number and advertising on either side of the sail above the wishbone. Boats authorized to have advertising must present the permission of their National Authority.

ELIGIBILITY AND ENTRIES 4.1 Athens Eurolymp Regata is open to the following events chosen for the 2016 Olympic Sailing Competition and the 2016 Paralympic Sailing Competition: Men s Events Women s Events Mixed Events Single Person Dinghy: Laser Single Person Dinghy: Laser Radial Multihull: Nacra 17 Two Person Dinghy: 470 Two Person Dinghy: 470 Two Person Skiff: 49er Two Person Skiff: 49er FX Paralympic Events Windsurfing: RS:X Windsurfing: RS:X Single Person: 2.4mR Heavyweight Dinghy: Finn 4.2 This regatta is also open to the following events: 420, Laser 4.7, Techno293, Optimist and Hansa. 4.3 Only competitors of Greek Nationality are eligible to compete at the National Championships. 4.4 Greek Nationality competitors shall be in compliance with the HSF regulations (valid EIO card). This card must be submitted at Registration. Foreign competitors shall be in compliance with their respective national regulations. 4.5 Pre-entries shall be made by (athenseurolympweek@eio.gr) or fax ( ) not later than April 15th, For Olympic Classes, Paralympic Classes, International 420 class and Hansa, the Athens Eurolymp Week 2016 will also count as National Championships. 4.7 For the Eurolymp, a minimum of six (6) boats per event is required, in order to be considered valid 4.8 For the National Championships, a minimum of six (6) boats per event is required, except the 49er - 49er FX - RS:X Women Women Nacra 17 and the Paralympic class 2.4mR, where a minimum of three (3) boats is required per event. 4.9 For the Single Person 2.4mR participation will be open to competitors with no classification. Their score will not be counted at the national championship.

Competitors not registered within this time will not be entered. Classes with less than 10 competitors will continue fleet racing. There will be no racing for the competitors who did not qualify for the medal race 6.4 For the Optimist, Laser 4.7, Techno293 and 420 classes the schedule of races is: Saturday April 23rd Registration Sunday April 24th 11:00 RACES Monday April 25th 11:00 RACES Tuesday April 26th 11:00 RACES Wednesday April 27th 11:00 RACES Prize Giving Ceremony 6.5 Competitors and Team Leaders shall complete on-site registration forms at the Nautical Clubs Registration Offices on Saturday April 23 rd from 10:00 to 17:00, to the following Nautical Clubs. 5 420 NOTK (Nautical Club Tzitzifion Kallitheas) Tel: , , Fax: Techno293 NOKB (Nautical Club Katoikon Vouliagmenis) Tel: , Fax: RACING FORMAT Courses will be of the same, as possible, configuration as those proposed for the Olympic Games or those proposed from the Classes. 8 SAIL NUMBERS Boats shall use the approved Nationality Code Letters on their sails as required by Appendix G. Competitors may be required to wear bibs (which will be provided by Organizing Authority). In alteration of their Class Rules, the national letters and boat numbers on the sails shall apply for all classes according to RRS G EQUIPMENT INSPECTION A boat or equipment may be inspected at any time for compliance with the class rules and sailing instructions. On the water, a boat can be instructed by a race committee Equipment Inspector/Measurer to proceed immediately to a designated area for inspection. 10 SCORING SYSTEM The Low - Point Scoring System will apply. 11 INTERNATIONAL JURY For the Olympic and Paralympic classes events, an international jury constituted in compliance with Appendix N, will be appointed with the approval of the Hellenic Sailing Federation in accordance with RRS 91(b). Its decisions will be final, as detailed in RRS 70.5.

6 11.2 For the Optimist, Laser 4.7, Techno293 and 420 events a Protest committee will be appointed. Its decisions will be final according to the National Prescription no DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY Competitors participate in the ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The Organizing Authority and all parties involved in the regatta organization will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with the regatta or the venue that may occur to any person or property whether ashore or at sea as a consequence of the participation of any boat prior to, during, or after the ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK. The Organizing Authority disclaims any and all such liability. 13 INSURANCE Competitors will participate to the ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK entirely at their own risk. The Organizing Authority will not accept any liability for personal or material damage, injury or death, sustained in conjunction with, prior to, during or after the ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK. The Organizing Authority disclaims any and all such liability. For each competing yacht at least a valid third party liability insurance with a minimum cover of not less than Euros shall be in existence for the entire duration of the ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK. It shall be the sole responsibility of the competitor to have such insurance cover and provide written proof thereof to the Organizing Authority upon request. Third party liability insurance with a minimum cover of Euros, The original document issued by the insurance company must be presented at the registration desk. 14 RIGHT TO USE NAME AND LIKENESS A competitor participating to the ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK, automatically grants to the Organizing Authority and the sponsors of ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK, the right in perpetuity, to make, use and show, from time to time and at their discretion, any motion pictures and live, taped or film television and other reproductions of him/her and his/hers activities during the period of the competition for the said ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK in which the competitor participates and in all material related to the said ATHENS EUROLYMP WEEK without compensation. 15 SUPPORT BOATS Support/coach boats must register the same time as the racing boats at the Race Office and shall fly their national flag at all times whilst on water. All support boats must present at the registration desk a third party liability insurance with the minimum cover of Euros, original insurance-policy and motorboat driving

7 license recognized by a State authority. 16 PRICE GIVING CEREMONIES Price giving ceremonies will take place a. For Olympic Classes, Paralympic Classes and Hansa Class will take place on Friday 22 nd of April 2016 at the Organising Clubs premises. b.
