By now the number of yachts exceeds 300, each one setting new standards in technological innovation, top craftsmanship, safety and reliability. It is this combination of inspired design, advanced technology and traditional Dutch shipbuilding that sets a Jongert apart from any other world cruiser yacht and makes it a durable and lasting asset. Blue Papillon is a masterpiece example built during Jongert's most prolific years, combining strength, refinement, practicality and elegance with excellent sailing performance. Built in steel and aluminium to a design by Peter Sijm and a grade of execution rarely found on new yachts, she was delivered in 1993 and most recently refitted in 2017 with the best of all worlds concentrated in 29 metres of detailed excellence. With Blue Papillon Jongert achieved a modern yacht with clear decks, a flat superstructure and excellent sailing characteristics. An innovation, installed during the 2015 refit, is a second table in the deck cockpit on a high-low mechanism, transforming it into a large bed to be used as a chill-out zone. A large fixed bimini on a stainless steel frame fitted in 2016 provides an enormous relaxing shaded area whilst cruising. Her pilothouse shelters a second steering position, an additional navstation and is furnished with two spacious dining tables (starboard table also lowers and transforms into a bed providing yet another on-deck-level to relax and entertain, whilst protected from the elements. Stairs invite guests to enter a spacious, light-filled saloon with an interior style which is chic and modern. Aft of the saloon and a few steps down there are two guest cabins with twin beds and private bathrooms and the master suite. Taking the full-width of the yacht, the master suite is furnished with a double bed, comfortable couch and a very roomy bathroom with shower and bathtub. Forward there is a separate crew area comprised of a professionally equipped galley, a dinette and two cabins, each with private DYB4476 Jongert 2900M Page 6

Blue Papillon carries a brand new full set of sails plus a new Code Zero added for light wind sailing and is equipped with hydraulic Lewmar winches, Nirvana and Reckmann hydraulic furling systems and a modern rig to provide ease of use, even by a small crew. She features an in-mast air conditioning system, which takes in fresh air from high up on the mast, well clear of exhaust fumes and any other unpleasant odours. The tender (up to 4m) is stored in the large beautifully teak-decked stern garage, which can be accessed either by a hatch in the aft deck or by a hydraulically operated door in the stern, which provides an ideal bathing platform when fully opened. Alongside the stern garage there is an extra-long gangway, extended by remote control. She is furnished with substantial up-to-date equipment for navigation and communication allowing this perfect go-anywhere bluewater cruiser to travel safely anywhere in the world.
